Chapter 13- Alecia Takes Over

Hello, Alecia Jewel here! You've probably heard all about me, but I'll introduce myself anyway. I am the second Immortal-To-Be out of eight in the Jewel Immortal Dynasty. I was born to Christopher Steel and Heidi Jewel. Mum became immortal yesterday, so I am now the log-keeper of the dynasty. She said to me "I feel it would be selfish to let this story be told by myself for eight generations and as the heir, it is now your responsibility to log our life." Translated, that means she can't be bothered to tell this story any longer.

So, more about me. I am a young girl who is basically a copy of her father, just in female form. I have inherited nearly everything from him, from my hair to the shape of my eyes and nose. We are quite similar personality wise, as well. I am a friendly girl who loves to fish in the great outdoors. I am a big schmoozer who is most certainly a perfectionist. My goal is to have 13 different species of perfect fish in fish bowls. Can't be that difficult, can it? My other goal is to become immortal.



As I mentioned earlier, my mum has just become immortal. Nature must have noticed because that afternoon, a rainbow stretched over the road near our house! That was probably the best day of my life so far, despite the inclement weather.

The following day happened to be my Young Adult birthday and Dad's Elder birthday! There were two cake laid out on the table so we could all celebrate together.



As you can see, Dad had two more candles than me. That turned out to prove disastrous...



Despite a raging fire next to me, my birthday couldn't wait and I celebrated on my own while everyone around me freaked out. I aged up with some incredibly short hair (Again) just as Dad had extinguished the blaze.

Fortunately, my hair grew back quickly and I got some appropriate attire for the day ahead.



I chose a spare outfit for when I am fishing so my cream skirt and blouse doesn't get too muddy!



Later that day, I drove around town looking for Octavio Keaton. He was at school with me for a few days and he seemed like someone I could live with. Literally. Apparently, he was at work and didn't know when he would be finished, so I searched around town for him. After I checked the Fire Station, the sky suddenly got very dark. I told the taxi driver to rush on to the Elixir consignment store. A bright light gleamed in the sky, plummeting towards the building at the speed of sound.



Even on top of the hill, you could here the screams of helpless people as the meteor drew closer...



The light was blinding, rock was blasted everywhere, cars were destroyed.



Somehow, the main rock landed in the garage, destroying the fire engine, but leaving the truck untouched.

Anyway, I had no luck finding Octavio, so I went home, where Dad finally got to blow out his candles without setting the house on fire.



He looked happier than Mum and Agnes at the thought of becoming very old.



He didn't even look in pain when he banged his hand through our precious wall (Wallpaper courtesy of Chuckles82).

Much to mine and Mum's relief, Agnes survived to create my ice sculpture and my portrait. She's 90 days old now and will die any day.



In hindsight, that pose wasn't the best pose for my physique. At my graduation, I met a boy. I can't remember his name, but he was very cute indeed...

I've had Ambitions since Christmas before last and that was my second. The first was in Union Cove about two months ago on the first day of the file. Carl died.

0.0 Oh no!  Not Carl!  Man... that would be depressing... very depressing.  *shakes head*  Everyone keeps telling me to stop tempting fate by saying it, but seriously... I'm ready for a meteor XD  If for no other reason, to say I had one!

Just so you know, the boy at the end of Chapter 13 receiving flowers from Alecia is called Dante. He is a newspaper deliverer (NPC) but you will be seeing a lot more of him later today in Chapter 14 (And possibly 15 if Chapter 14 is too long!)

Chapter 14- Celebration

Things progressed rapidly between me and Dante (That's his name, in case you missed that post), thanks to my awesome schmoozer and friendly traits. We only spent two hours together on Wednesday and by Thursday morning, this happened;



It was the most magical moment of my life to date and I forgot everything. Where I was, what my goal is, even what I was doing! The sensation was enough to lift me off the ground. I felt like a princess. From that moment on, I knew we were meant to be. I knelt down on the snow and rummaged in my back pocket, looking for a small box I had been dying to open...



When Dante saw the ring gleaming in the case, he screamed a little, girly scream. He was jumping up and how, his hands clapped to his mouth.



I slid the ring onto his finger as a smile spread across my face. I was engaged to a lovely man who would be used as a kind of slave, unfortunately.

That day happened to be Snowflake Day so the house was packed with guests celebrating this wonderful time of year. I finally got to open a present for the first time in my life!



I was so pleased when I received...



...A white box! But that wasn't my only present! I was lucky enough to get two presents. The other was an art easel, which will most likely never be used. We sold it instead. Next was Charlie, who also received two presents.



Guess what his presents were! TWO art easels! The art shop must've been busy this year!

Mum, on the other hand, looked threatening when she received a rainbow light



But Dad was happy enough getting mistletoe two Christmas's in a row! So, my Gift-giving party was a success. I ran upstairs to then prepare for my wedding the next day.

The wedding day arrived. The weather was perfect: Deep snow made the wedding area look beautiful.



Mum said I had such a dopey look on my face!



I slid the ring onto Dante's hand. I thought to myself "This is it, there is no turning back now." I couldn't see why I would want to turn back, though. Everything was perfect (Except Dante was in his Outerwear).

No wedding is complete without some kissing, so that is what we did.



Two hours later, after I had finished my wedding cake, someone was still clapping.

After the wedding, I learned so much more about Dante. I already knew he was a paperboy, but he turned out to be a Hot-Headed Angler who is a Heavy Sleeper and quite Rebellious. It also turns out he is Athletic. Not bad! I helped him with a rebellious makeover so handsome him up.



He changed into his new Outerwear and we went upstairs for some privacy...

Great update. Congratulations on the wedding of Alecia and Dante. The wedding setting in the snow was perfect except that Dante forgot to wear the wedding dress. And yay, nooboo in the way. Looking forward for next cool update.

Chapter 15- Rock-a-bye Baby

On Saturday morning, I awoke with a painful stomach. I felt like the wedding cake wasn't going to stay down. Believe it or not, it didn't.



A river of green flowed out of my mouth, into our lovely porcelain throne. I felt horrible for giving Charlie all this extra cleaning work! While I was fishing down at the beach that evening, I found out something extraordinary...



I was pregnant! I chose to wait until Sunday to reveal the news to Dante and the rest of the family, just so I could come to terms with the news. Dante was the first to hear, since he will be the father.



I was incredibly worried he wouldn't take well to the news, but I was pleasantly surprised!



We went to the library to read the pregnancy books but, like a regular married couple, sat at opposite ends of the building.





I became very big very quickly. Just 24 hours after I announced the baby, I was double my regular size at least! Dante was very soothing and said it made me look like a strong, confident mother-to-be. I said I looked like an elephant. Quite often, he would socialise the nooboo. He would rub my ever-expanding waistline and listen to the baby's heartbeat.



I had just sat down for Movie Monday when the pains hit.



It came as a bit of a shock, really. I wasn't expecting to go into labour for another hour or so. I huffed and I puffed. The pregnancy book said nothing about how much it would hurt but they did say no one would be any help, whatsoever.



Mum and Dad just watched TV, Agnes went to do some painting, Dante took a toilet break and Charlie stood there sniffing his armpit while jumping up and down like a lunatic. At last, I gave birth to a beautiful baby...



...Girl! Meet Patricia Jewel, the gardening immortal. She is Friendly and she Loves the Outdoors. Those happen to be the traits I was born with! Here she is with Mummy and Daddy;



Isn't she precious? We bought a baby swing to keep her happy while we all slept and worked on our appropriate skills/activities.



There was always a lengthy queue to watch her and change her nappy. At one point, the creator threatened to lock everyone apart from Dante and I out of her nursery!



Patricia's nooboo stage went by far too quickly and soon it was time for her toddler birthday! I helped her to the cake and did most of the blowing (With a somewhat cheesy look on my face).



After a quick trip to the mirror and dresser, we had ourselves an adorable baby girl.




_{Authors note: I'm really very impressed with how she turned out! She has clearly got looks from both sides. I was worried about how Alecia's hair would look on Dante's skin tone but it turned out so much more beautiful than I thought!}
