I was kind of hoping for an heir that looked more like Heidi, but I guess nature does what nature wants to do!

Well, if you wanted and aren't too full up or far in the game, you could always have Heidi and Chris have more kids, right?

I was thinking about it, and kind of hoping Alecia would have a twin, but when she didn't I adopted Agnes a child. Any child other than the heir will either be used for skills, art or spouses.

Chapter 8- Snowflake Day!

My favourite day of the year has come at last - Snowflake Day! Of course, Charlie and Alecia have never seen this magnificent celebration, so Chris, Agnes and I were giving them the talk on how to get into the spirit. The big morning came and Alecia was first up.

Look at our angels' darling pouty face! Really, we should have stopped admiring her cuteness sooner because someone was hungry...

Still too cute! Meanwhile, Charlie was really getting into the Snowflake Day spirit with some snowy fun!

Kind of disturbing until we saw this.

It seems Charlie is light as a feather but strong as an orang utan! Well, he was clearly enjoying himself, nonetheless!

But this must have hurt...

Our guests came and the party was in full swing!

When Chris picked up his first gift, he was a little over-excited. "I can't look, I want it to be a surprise!", were his exact words.

"I love it, look at my big smiley face!" Sometimes I think Alecia is more grown-up than her daddy.

I went next.

I was really impressed with my gift!

Agnes got two umbrellas, which she was not impressed with under that forced smile. Sadly, neither Charlie nor Alecia got any presents, so Agnes bought Charlie a frisbee and Chris and I got Alecia a Scary-Bears Imaginary Friend doll.

To wrap up the party, we celebrated my adult birthday. I made a wish...

...And blew out the candles...

...To become a fully grown woman.

Little Charlie decided to clean-up after our guests while Alecia was put to bed.

It was the end of a beautiful day. Everyone collapsed into to bed and slept.

Enjoy it while you can, because she is about to age up in-game! Maybe I'll take some quick, last minute screenshots of her and Charlie. They happen to share a birthday.

Well, Snowflake Day is every 28 days and Charlie was just 14 at the time. But yes, poor child. I don't know how I'd survive if I hadn't celebrated Christmas!

I was heartbroken when he didn't get a present, hence why he got a frisbee from University Life.

Older and Wiser

This morning, I woke up normally. Today would be an amazing day when I finally get the promotion I have been waiting for. I would still only be at level eight, but I still have years of youth to go. Anyway, I looked out of the window to see if the snow had stopped when I saw this.

Christopher Jewel-Steel, in his swimming shorts, making a snow angel. You'd think he was five if you didn't know he was, in fact, just three days younger than me.

Moving on from Chris's strange playing habits, Alecia was busy finishing off her toddler skills.

She's still just as sweet as ever, even though she is about to start school. We soon discovered talking wasn't her strong point.

Look that pouty face! We don't see it much, but when we do it makes us all burst into laughter. Her strong point is definitely playing, though!

She has a lot of ice toys, she even has an ice potty! So far, it hasn't melted.

Speaking of ice, Agnes did my Adult Sculpture. I thought a strong, dramatic pose was in need today and so that is was I did.

So cute! Alecia, not me. I'm just runway-ready!

Agnes bides her time doing whatever sculptures she wants and it usually goes great. Sometimes, it goes horribly wrong...

I was upstairs with Alecia, so I came running downstairs and saw Chris tackling Agnes's bum-blaze.

He asked me if he was using enough foam. My answer was a flat yes. After the fire was extinguished, Aggie posed for the camera.

Chris said she was smoking. He still has a crush on my best friend.

All the Crumplebottoms had some steam to let off.

The poor boy! Christopher aged up just before he reached his birthday cake.

I'm glad he was pleased with becoming a fully grown adult.

The following day, Chris took Alecia to her birthday cake. She blew out the candles all by herself, the clever girl!

Gracefully, she spun around...

And our baby girl had grown up.

When I saw that, I nearly collapsed. Her beautiful hair was gone and there she was in her underwear in front of Charlie! How embarrassing!

Luckily, her hair was quick to grow back and she looked precious in her new dresses. She gained the angler trait and her supermax will be fishing.

Charlie followed. He wished for a less artistic family.

He ignored the incoming phone call and blew out his candles.

Charlie became a handsome young man. He gained the Green-Thumb trait and will take over painting, sculpting and gardening. Hopefully he will be able to do that!

Agnes's elder birthday is fast approaching , so Charlie better get painting!
