Chapter 5- Baby Incoming!

After our woohoo, Chris had a sleepless night (Well, day. He sleeps days so he can catch Death Fish when the time comes).



He seemed so worried, like a baby would kill him, lead to the end of his life. When I asked him what the matter was, he just told me to go away and leave him in peace. I've never seen him like this before, it's really out of character for him.

Meanwhile, Agnes is busy working towards her 25 ice sculpture goal. I must say that this is even worse than the potty...



It's a big girl potty! Unfortunately, she had to sell it to get the money. Not long after this was sculpted, I thought I had come down with a bug or something like that. I really didn't feel so good...



It was vile, I've never thrown up before! If I never vomit again, it will be too soon. However, the root of the problem wasn't an illness...



I was expecting my first nooboo! I was over the moon. Finally, I wouldn't have to worry about giving birth to an heir in time. I decided to wait to tell Chris, he seemed so worried about the whole baby thing at first. However, when I did tell him, he seemed pretty cool with the nooboo!



"A baby? Really? Congratulation Heidi!" Those were his exact words. I was so relieved he had calmed down. He was a great father-to-be.



He loved to rub my huge belly while I talked on about how I felt like a hippo.



He would talk to the baby about toys, life and his parents, not forgetting how he wanted the nooboo to have his hair and lips!



Sometimes, he would say the baby talked back in gibberish! All was going well in my pregnancy until an excruciating pain came over me.



The baby was coming! As everyone I know says, the husband is never any help. Today, Chris was no exception.



"Oh llama. There goes my social life." He was some help; he did call a taxi to take us to the hospital so neither of us had to drive (Plus we don't have a car). The doctors were much more help and soon I emerged with a beautiful bundle of joy.



Meet the heir of the Jewel Immortal Dynasty, Alecia Jewel. She is a friendly girl who loves the outdoors. Unfortunately for Alecia, we were involved in a slight accident on the way home...

They were all fine, but Heidi suffered mild whiplash ( ). The taxi driver just kept on going like he had never collided with Ayesha Ansari!

Well, sometimes crashes can be funny, if you're me who finds jokes in everything! (Bad me!)

Wait, there can be Sims car crashes!?  I've never seen one!

Just follow your sim round in their car and pause when they cross a junction, if another car is crossing as well.

My friend Alicia gets this problem all the time. None of our teachers can pronounce her name and it drives her crazy!
(Well, it could be worse -- there's a girl in my class called Ceren which is pronounced Ji-ren and even some of our oldest teachers still can't get it right  )

Chapter 6- Sculptures and Kids

Agnes finally achieved her 25 Ice Sculptures goal, and now she feels EPIC! (I'm sorry, I watch far too much TV). She sculpted me immediately and I did a pose of a genius!



Hmm, now I look back on that picture, I did look a bit grumpy... I don't think Agnes liked the pose, though, because this is how it turned out.



Well, she maintained my sad appearance. The winter came to Sunset Valley, laying a beautiful, white blanket over the neighbourhood. We hung up some Snowflake Day lights to celebrate the most glorious time of the year.



Isn't our home just beautiful?

Amongst all the Christmas spirit, we celebrated Alecia's toddler birthday at home as a family.



The poor soul wasn't too impressed about aging up bald. Christopher was devastated! However, a quick trip to the mirror and dresser quickly sorted that out and we ended up with an adorable little girl. At first glance, she looks a lot like Chris.

For Comparison;



She definitely has Chris's hair, lips, eye shape and general facial structure, but she clearly has my skintone. If you look closely, she has my blue eyes and if you look really, REALLY closely, you can see that she has my nose. She's quite a good mix, really.

Me and Chris are not the only ones with a child to look after. Agnes adopted a little boy called Charlie.



When he saw Agnes, it was clear he knew she was rich. He loved her from that moment on.



He's a very handsome young man for sure. Moreover, he is very nice as well! He's an ambitious bookworm who is most certainly a neat freak. Not bad for an adopted boy!

Agnes finally had someone to love and Alecia has a playmate to grow with. All is well in the Jewel house.

Chapter 7- Adorable Alecia

When little Alecia was a burrito, nobody had a clue what she would be like, apart from she would be friendly and outdoorsy. Now she's a bit older, it is clear she is the cutest thing ever!



Even when she's quite simply drinking her milk, she does it in a style that always sends me and Chris head over heels.



She loves playing with her toys, and hiding from anyone she isn't interested in. That box has become her secret lair that she only lets Charlie use! Speaking of Charlie, (Born Charles Evans, Charles Henry Crumplebottom with his new mother) Alecia seems to have taken a liking to him. When Alecia is not being trained and Charlie is not at school, the pair spend all their time together playing.





Peekaboo is a common sight in our house and they both love it.



Charlie loves to play with Alecia, but sometimes Charlie can't resist the urge to peek.



Sometimes, Alecia lets out a little scream of joy when Charlie makes her jump. It's just too cute to ignore!

They love each other like they really are related, saying goodbye in an adorable fashion.



At night, she stretches up to whoever puts her to bed and looks up at them with her eyes gleaming.



Those blue eyes have magical powers! But so do I!



I have telepathic powers and can make Alecia stand up without even touching her!

When she collapses into my arms, her eyes are wide and her smile lighting up the whole world.



She is our little darling and she shows it in whatever she does.



She's always smiling, even when she's tired, up scarily high or hungry. She really is an angel.



Alecia is the love of my life, the power of my soul. Over the past few days she has lit up my life. It's hard to believe I will be spending eternity with her. However, even when we are the same age, Alecia will still be my baby girl.

The toddler stage is one of my favourites as well, unless there is a family of 6 sims and 3 dogs. Then you forget to feed the toddler and put them to bed (That happens a lot in my DecaDynasty). I only realised how cute she was when I got carried away with screenshots and got 55 in one playing session!
