Chapter 1- A New Life

For many sims in SimNation, immortality is beyond their wildest dreams. However, a select few are chosen by their Watchers to go on a thrilling mission, to guide eight generations of Sims towards the ultimate goal. The prize; A place in Carl's Sims 3 Forum Hall of Fame. I may only be a young girl, but life is about to become a whole lot bigger, better and harder than it has been for the past eighteen years in the wonderful world of the Sim Bin.



This is me. A young girl called Heidi. Heidi Jewel, to be more precise. Heidi Grace Isabelle Jewel, if you want my true, full name.



Before now,  I was completely oblivious to the fact that is was possible to even become immortal! You would though, if you were raised as an only child whose parents forbid you from seeing beyond the walls of the SimBin.



As you can probably tell by now, I have a thing for white and blue.



I think it goes well with my white-blonde hair.



You're probably also beginning to notice that I look a lot like Agnes Crumplebottom. I would like you to note that I bear no relation to her what-so-ever at this point.



And if you're really good at noticing things, you may also notice that I have a thing for expensive clothes and fancy hairstyles. If you have, pat yourself on the back. If you haven't, slap yourself very, VERY hard. I want to make sure you're still awake at this point. Our story is about to take off.



I chose the large, empty lot on Summerfield Court, near the Landgrabbs and the Altos. I felt it served a beautiful view over Sunset Valley and had plenty of space for my immortal duties.

However, today we travel over to the house of a rich woman called Agnes Crumplebottom, of whom I have mentioned once already.



"I wonder if she has money," I thought to myself. "It sure would help me give some TLC to my 'home'."

I invited her round to my 'mansion' and I asked her to move in.



"Agnes, I know we've only known each other since 10 this morning, but I would love it if you moved into my lot and helped me build on it." She accepted and we got to work.



It's not huge, but we still have loads of money left over for other things in life. I'll take you on a tour.



This is the ground floor. The art studio on the right is where Agnes will sleep and do my museum pieces.



This is the first floor. On the right again is my room, with an amazing bed for my precious beauty sleep. EDIT: I would like to say a huge thank you to Chuckles for creating the pattern you see on many of the walls. All your patterns are amazing and this one happens to look great on walls!

Now Agnes lives with me, I decided she needed a makeover.



It's amazing how much difference a little bit of make-up and a new hairstyle make!



Agnes totally rocks pink and white dresses, it's really her thing.



She wouldn't look bad in spice brown, but I feel pink suits her so much better.



Being a blonde myself means I know what we like to wear and what looks best on us.



Agnes requested for us to have matching swimming costumes, which I feel is completely out of fashion. However, I like my housemate and feel we are much better off together.



I can't wait to start my immortal journey. This is going to be the best rollercoaster ever!

Thanks Snuffles! The outfits turned out better than I thought because white often doesn't look as nice on blondes. I think the blue and white really looks good on Heidi. Expect an update either today or tomorrow, and possibly on Tuesday.

*Watcher blushes* I'm flattered that you like my dynasty. The house was literally one of my ''Stick a wall there and a wall there and hope it looks OK'' builds, but it turned out better than some of my ''Lets plan this out so it's a Swap Shop standard design'' builds!

Chapter 2- When Two Became Three

My Immortal Journey may have only just begun, but Agnes and I are both well underway with our requirements. Agnes was already a level 8 painter when she moved in and quickly got to work on my Young Adult portrait. When it was finished, it looked something like this;



The lips are a bit funny but the painting was worth nearly 400 simoleons, so I'm not complaining. I'm sure my youth beauty will be the talking matter of the house for the next 700 years or so.

With the money we had spare, we bought Summer Hill Springs,



And Hogan's Deep Fried Diner.



Agnes is doing pretty well on her sculpting. Eventually, I will have an ice sculpture in my museum.



Ouch, that's got to hurt! I do wonder how she keeps going through the pains of sculpting. It shows just how devoted to me she is.



However, I doubt whether it is a good idea to let a grumpy, short-tempered woman like Agnes loose with a chainsaw. Some day, it'll end in disaster. In the end, she sculpted a very nice ice potty.



To prevent it melting when generation 2 uses it, Agnes sold it for a mere 900 simoleons. Not bad, Aggie, not bad at all.

What do you do when you don't know anyone to become your spouse in Sunset Valley?



That's right, you find Mr Christopher Steel. It turns out we are co-workers, so it just seemed a natural choice.

He had to go somewhere, so we met up on Leisure Day and we really hit it off.



I said "You are a lovely as a park bench - super hardcore!" Not bad flirting, hey!

I gave him a wondrous massage;



And we hugged,



And hugged,



And hugged.



And then we kissed.



It was a magical moment that I so sadly missed during my teenaged years in the Sim Bin. All the teens there had bossy, in-charge parents that forbid them from getting to know me better. They said I was too ambitious for them.

Speaking of being ambitious, I haven't introduced my traits yet! I'm an ambitious workaholic who is friendly and an amazing cook. Did I mention that I'm a hopeless romantic? My dream is to become a Culinary Librarian and I already have 19 out of 28 recipies learned. Anyway, back to the story.

I proposed!



The look on Christopher's face was priceless!



I was heart-broken when he turned me down.



My solution; try again.



He look's like he's sneezing at the idea! Yes, he turned me down again.

It was time for Plan B. I invited him to move in with me and Agnes, which he accepted gratefully. We have a much better house than him.

However, when we got home, Christopher proposed to me!



Naturally, I accepted. I had been dying to marry him since like 6 o'clock that morning! We decided to marry there and then.

He slipped the diamond ring swiftyfully onto my finger...



...And I did the same to him. We became Mr and Mrs Jewel for eternity.

Chapter 3- Pink and Green

Now that Chris is married and living with Agnes and I, we came to an agreement that he needed a makeover. Badly. Being the fashionista that I am, I got straight to work.




I gave him a more formal everyday outfit for when he's at home reading gardening books and a more outdoorsy, scruffy look for gardening and fishing. I mean, who fishes in a polo shirt? As with his sleepwear, Agnes thought he looked 'dashing' in a breakfast shirt. Secretly, I think someone has a crush on my Chrisy!

The next day, we threw Agnes a birthday party. She wasn't too happy about becoming a fully grown adult, but it had to be done. She calmed down a bit when I told her she wasn't that old. She is significantly younger than her sister, anyway.



You can see what was running through Aggie's head at that moment. It was clear she would rather have waited a few extra hours and had her birthday at home with her friends.



Despite her anxieties, Agnes made a wish ("I want to stay young", probably).



She blew out the candles with all her might, praying that being 'old' wouldn't be horrible and waited for the sparkles.



Agnes was the only one not smiling when the sparkles came. On the contrary, she looked petrified, tortured even.



When the transformation was finished, she posed for the camera with a look of disgust on her pale face. She had started a Mid-Life Crisis!



From the way she was looking in the mirror later that evening, she clearly wasn't impressed with her new-found wrinkles.

Chris and Agnes have no idea about my quest yet, but I think the time is coming soon. There is only so long you can go before they start wondering why they have to go looking for special seeds, why they have to attempt to fish at the graveyard, why they are sculpting day and night to create 25 ice sculptures. Yes the time is coming, and it is coming very soon...

Chapter 4-The Talk

Christopher Jewel had spent another tireless night out at the graveyard collecting seeds when he stumbled across an unusual plant. A plant that he had never seen before in his life. Despite not being the best gardener, Chris immediately realised that this plant was no ordinary plant. This was Death Flower bush. Knowing his beloved wife Heidi needed one later in life, he started to harvest the priceless find without hesitation.



As he drew his face closer to the masterpiece, he could look no longer. The black flower had a skull face glaring up at him intently. The flower began to pour into Christopher's mind, interrupting his dreamy thoughts. Why was he here? Why was he in the middle of a graveyard at 2 o'clock in the morning? Why was he being forced to garden and fish, when all he wanted was a loving wife and a happy family? Questions were whirling around inside his head like a tornado, wiping out everything in it's path.He felt a sudden urge to scream from the pain building in his brain. His head felt like it was about to explode in rage. He rushed home, these thoughts still pounding his mind. He arrived and quickly through the Death Flower into the family inventory and breathed. Suddenly, all the thoughts in his head were soothed and he felt strangely relaxed, yet exhausted and confused.

Like every morning, Heidi got up and cooked a delightful breakfast for the threesome. They sat around the table. All was silent except for the crunch of the fruit parfait.



Heidi drew in breath and began to speak in a hushed voice.

"I have been chosen to take on a very special task. A task that is practically impossible for me to do without you guys."

Agnes and Christopher looked at each other in confusion. What task? To become the household chef of two Sunset Valley residents?

"I have been chosen by God to become immortal." Christopher had a look of utter confusion on his face.

"So?" he said. "Where do we come into this? Can't you just use an Age Freeze potion when you're happy enough?" By the look on Heidi's face, she was not impressed by this response.

"I will not be the only Jewel Immortal. My goal is to accomplish all the tasks required to become immortal myself and guide seven of my descendants to the same goal. The lecture carried on for hours, with the Agnes and Chris eating slowly, careful not to miss a word of the lecture. Heidi explained about ambrosia and Death Flowers. Heidi paused. Agnes was staring at her with a sympathetic aura.



"You have documented my every move for the past week, which I am furious with, but you will suffer much more pain than I do by being spied on. You will have to watch your loved ones die for hundreds of years, including me and Chris. You are a remarkable girl, Heidi, taking on such responsibility at such a young age. Are you sure you're prepared to do this?" There was a minute of awkward silence. Heidi broke this with the word, "I am sure, Aggie. There is nothing for me to be uncertain about. I am prepared to have many, many heartbreaks if it will make God happy."

Agnes's mouth twitched, then spread into a gleaming smile. Chris too was beaming.



"You will lead your family to wealth and fame so they can lead a happy life. We already have money, but I'm sure you can do better than my husband ever did. I know you can." With that, Agnes stood up and glided out of the kitchen. Heidi and Christopher stood side-by-side, face-to-face. They held hands and strided up to the master bedroom.



"This story needs an heir," whispered Chris. "I think it's time for a new Jewel."

I was very impressed with Chris as well. I post updates as I play the game and I haven't seen the baby yet. I can't wait either!
