.. is it then possible to buy a 2nd home (Houseboat)?

I can buy houseboats already built or plots of land half in the water, but I can't see the option to buy the basic empty houseboat plots.

Have you tried clicking on a port to see if the option comes up there?

No go, the only option to show up is to visit port..

I can purchase addition-everything else, just not seeing the option to purchase a blank plot of houseboat.


Are you able to purchase a houseboat after already owning a land home?  If it's just me then it could very well be one of my mods, and I could look into that tonight if that is the case.

I found a solution.

Go into Edit Town - Choose a Port and hit the port icon.  This will allow you to place an empty houseboat on that port which can then be purchased using the "Purchase additional home" option.
