Always remember to wait at least 5 minutes before checking your purchase history to download these items.    If the code doesn't work and it's the on you received from Origin, the fastest way to an answer is going to be to call EA Customer Support.    My preference has always been using the live chat feature that came with the Origin program.

For, me copying & pasting the code for the survival pack would not work.  On the suggestion of another simmer, I typed it in by hand and that did work. 

I saw someone else they asked Live Chat for another code when their's wouldn't work and they said there was nothing they could do, so before trying Live Chat, try typing it in by hand just in case that fixes the problem.

What I think what happens is that when you copy and paste the code from the email to use it copies also one blank space at the end which won't be recognize because the store sees it as an illegal character. Just copy and paste and while it's still highlighted, take out the little space at the end of the code. That should do it.

Speaking of Redeeming Extra Content - what about Barnacle Bay? Does it install itself with the EP? Sorry for asking, I have installed and downloaded everything early this morning, but couldn't get a vacation day for playing  so I don't know if it might be installed now?

I preordered on Origin so I should have gotten: IP
                                                                     Limited Edition Survival Pack
                                                                     Special Hats for registering IP
                                                                     Barnacle Bay
                                                                     Carnival Costume Pack   

I got IP, Special Hats, and Survival Pack. Barnacle Bay is coming as you said. But I don't see a code for the Carnival Costume pack. Where is it, and if someone who ordered through origin like me confirm that I am right in what I should get and tell me how I am supposed to get The Carnival Costume Pack. Thanks.                                                     

EDIT By special hats I mean the Tropical Waters Hat Pack. Sorry about any confusion.

Ok new problem I typed in the code under the Carnival Costume Pack link and it said I was successful. I went to purchase history .It just gave me a duplicate of the Survival Pack. *frustration*. Its ok I am just a tad confused

Yes, and I typed in the Carnival code. When I tried to retype it it said that this code was already used.

Ok my impatient self saw that there were 2 Survival packs listed an thought that the second was a glitch and loaded in as Carnival. Truth is I didn't wait long enough. Sorry!!

Ah so that's why there's been so much talk of Barnacle Bay recently.

For some reason my Origin pre-order has got me a stuff pack. Anyone got any recommendations? I have 70s, 80s and 90s and none of the others really appeal. Would've prefered Barnacle Bay; happy to do swapsies but not sure how it'd work

I'm in the same boat.  I preordered within the window and have not received my BB code yet.  I contacted support and there was nothing they could do to help me, they just told me to give it a few more days.. Seriously was not acceptable, but nothing I could do :/
