I've been really enjoying Island Paradise! Here is my Sim controlling the houseboat.

My Sim coming along with a pregnant woman giving birth, at her resort.

A sim playing in the water.

My Sims sunbaking.

Those are good.  I guess they figure the sand is dirty, lol.  I can't get over how pretty under the water is.  My sim saw a shark, I thought that this was the one, oh well.

I just looked at every lot in IP for the first time. I thought some people (who haven't done so) might like these shots of some memorable house exteriors:

The castle is my favourite - I'm going to redo the inside more medieval like I think.

EDIT: hmmm I'm sure they looked more spectacular in game...

THey've really outdone themselves on the sunrise/sunset here.  I love it.

My sim just had finished rescuing this fellow from drowning and then he collapsed on the sand . She had to give him CPR .

So that's what happens. I was trying to work out how they could have animated someone dragging a Sim out of the water. Surely with all the pathing issues that would be too hard?

Actually it starts with Sims drowning in the water.  Your Sim tip toes out there throws a float at them then waddles back to shore.  Eventually they both end up on shore and sometimes you need to do CPR and sometimes you don't.   If you don't make it to a Sim in time, they slap you.

Here's some pictures of my Sim rescuing Sunset Valley.

And here is the resort I made using only blueprints on the worst possible location.

No.. It's Diver's Den.  You get about 6 x 40 spaces on land and the rest of the 56 is over water.  I recommend resorts have more land mass or have more creativity than me.  ;D

Two more screenshots - you can fish off the side of two of the boats that came with IP.

Wow! After all these screen shots I can't wait for my copy of Island Paradise. The houses are so gorgeous, and this town looks like my dream world!
