Grim Reaper gone! RESOLVED

One day in my sims household, i finally got the Grim Reaper through cheats(Increase friend bar+move in). After some simdays, I kick him out because the household was almost full and I can't control more than 5 sims. One of the bad thing I did was that the moodlet manager was in his inventory. So, after that I check every household in the town and couldn't find him. Also I could't interact with his portrait in the friends bar like real Grim npc. Is he gone forever or will he come as a Grim Reaper next time when someone dies? And will I ever get the moodlet manager?

(Please point me out if there is any error or inappropriate text in my above words. This is my first topic and I am not fluent in English).

If you kicked him out, then the moodlet manager should be in the inventory of another sim in your household. If you moved him out, and he's no longer in town, then perhaps you could try inviting him over on the phone.

Thanks for the tip. I checked, the moodlet manager is not in anybody's inventory. Right now, i am searching every corner of the house to find it. I think i/he must have placed it somewhere.

I'm not sure, but I think moving in Grim permanently glitches him - maybe try aging someone up in an extra save file to check?

As for the moodlet manager, since this is a file where you're using cheats, you could cheat someone's LTHP up and buy another one. Good luck!

I remember at one point there was a major issue with the Reaper being killed or moved in, he just would stop reaping and then Sims would just die and be left lying around town. I'm fairly sure they fixed this issue now though. Although the Reaper is known for being quite glitchy to use.

I'm not sure Moodlet Managers will move inventories, I'm sure I have also experienced loses of Moodlet Managers and Motive Mobiles etc. Making me wonder if perhaps it could just be some LTHR that don't transfer like that.

Nope it's not fixed.  If you in anyway mess with the reaper in a file you're playing, that file becomes officially glitched as no new reapers are made.   It's best to get a reaper in a file you don't want or download one off the exchange.

I will try that now, thanks. As for moodlet manager, i am investing it from another sim. She has completed her LTW and now waiting for her LTR to reach 60K and grab it. I enjoy using the moodler manager because with its cure, my sims can work or skill up all night long without sleeping.

Since you're not against using cheats, if you put in testingcheatsenabled true before opening a game, you can cheat your way into some LTHP to give yourself the manager.

I am not against cheats. I use resetsim, moveobjects everytime. But most testing cheats spoil the game. That day when someone dies, the grim stays for sometime, so i thought i could get him. I use the cheats and move-in him in the household. I had the Grim saved in the bin at that moment. Anyhow, thanks to everyone for responding to my help request and for giving me tons of tips.

[P.S. Did Grims age? I read somewhere that they don't age. But he is aging from the day I moved him in the house. And they have no favourites.]
