It's about time we got an heir! Lets hope Riley can fight the freezing cold and supermax fishing!

Oh my, that is the incentive I needed.  This has been a super busy week and I haven't even opened the game and this comment is just what I needed to get me back in the game today.  Here I come Riley... 

I should have an update either this evening or tomorrow...
EDIT: Riley finished up his stuff and made the move tonight.  I am heading to bed and will make the update tomorrow.

Generation 6, Chapter 17, Spring Finally Comes, updated 8/4/13

We still have dragons, and now we have frostbite


After two generations of use, this town is slobs.  No one ever puts the books up at the library so I send Erin down to work as a librarian and restock the shelves. 


Umm, what's happening?  Yes, of course Erin decided to die at the exact same moment that ...


... Riley just caught his 350th fish and super-maxed fishing!


We are starting to have glitches.   This is where the NPCs spawn and this was one of his NPC friends who got stuck.  After a week of her standing here and being unclickable, I was finaly able to resetsim and get her to go away.  But the worry has started.


Duncan deserves a little love.  He has been a good spouse this generation.  He was also a scientist and spent a lot of his spare time fishing to help out with the fishing collection, although all of the deathfish were collected by Riley.  I sent Duncan scuba diving to try to catch a seahorse but he ran out of time. 


With spring arriving Riley begins throwing parties to build up his friends while waiting on his promotions.  I am loving the fact there is a pool next door to the house.


In order to the make the promotions go faster, and for the first time I have had good luck with asking for a promotion, Riley was able to successfully ask for and receive three promotions from his best friend of a boss.


Now we just have to wait for that last promotion...


With everything done, it is time for a wedding and a move...

The Alto household had several siblings who all promptly moved out taking the cat with them.  I don't have anything against pets, but with the number of generations this dynasty requires, the households no longer get any extra mouths to feed.

Leeann, before her makeover


Leeann, after her makeover, begins working on her lifetime wish to become a writer.


She is definitely not a cook.


No clue where the fire department is located because they still aren't here.


Leeann and Riley finally put the fire out themselves.  And the fire department still have not arrived.


Oh, now you show up and have the gall to tell them to be more careful.


And we have another heriess.  That makes six girls and one boy over the life of this dynasty.  I have done nothing to influence the gender.


Lacy learns to walk.


Lacy gets a bath.

Lacy picks her nose.


Lacy has been scoping out the houses around town trying to figure out where she wants to live next.  This is Vance Patel, a potential who lives on Kraken Island.


However, Lacy may be settling for a large age difference in order to get a decent house.

It's nice to see that Lacy carries on the proud family tradition of that weird chin. She's adorable, though. I agree with enchantedwolf about the good luck with genes this dynasty has.

Good luck with the spouse hunt and other dynasty stuff.

Yeah that first generation really set the bar high with their genetics. I don't know if they will ever breed out those chins.  I know which three houses I want for the last generations but they don't have boys her age so I am trying to be adaptable at the moment.  When she is young adult I will look at the houses again to see if she will have other choices.

[Teresa]

I am taking a short hiatus as my daughter has her departure date lined up and will be leaving for Seoul on the 25th.  We are in the final stages of getting her ready for the big move now.  Of course as things go, nothing goes smoothly and this morning her car was stolen.    Anyways, I will be back with the final generations of this challenge sometime in September once I get everything settled.

Oh, that sounds awful. Take all the time you need to get things back on track.

Well I think I may be ready to come back.  I am going to be reading through the last post to see what was happening and then opening up the game to see where I left off playing this afternoon.  Hopefully I can play some over the long weekend.  My daughter has made it safely to Korea, my classes are settling in for the semester, and everything is getting back into a routine, so fingers crossed.... sshhh...  (oh and we found the car, that all worked out ok...)

I will be getting back to this one.  The past year has been pretty hectic.  I look at the saved file every time I open the game.
