Welcome to Townie Big Brother!

This challenge is based on the Big Brother Project rules by AnnBeiFong. The twist is that the contestants are well-known residents of my favourite towns! I tried to pick a mixture of personalities and maybe one or two Sims that are a little neglected.

I hope you enjoy it!

Jared Frio - Sunset Valley

Hey, Jared here. Yes, THAT Jared. Little Connor’s big brother. Oh, you like Connor more than me? Well, tough! This is my time to shine!

See, the difference between Connor and I is that I’m a ladies’ man. He’s just the computer nerd, the unflirty one that stay at home writing. Blegh! Who would want to stay at home typing away when there’s so many pretty girls here in Sunset Valley?

See, the problem is that the ladies don't seem to like me  that much. Ha! They just don't know what they're missing!

No matter though, when I get into the Big Brother house, all the ladies will be just dying to have me. Look, I’m cool as a cucumber!

Did I also mention that I’m just a FANTASTIC chef? Yeah, I’m just too awesome for words. But, please, save your applause until AFTER I win.

Jared Frio, signing OUT!

Pepe Moretti - Monte Vista

GOOOOAAAL! Pepe here, king of the pitch!

I say, why have a wife and kids when you’re the master of this beautiful game? I have no time for nagging and dirty nappies, because I’m 100% devoted to football (or soccer, for my American fans).

Look at that kick! Is it not the best thing you’ve ever seen?

Of course I have to keep myself in shape to be at the top of my game. You’ll often see me at the gym or just jogging around town.

Sure, the ladies love it, and I give them the attention they deserve. I’m just not looking for a long-term relationship just yet.

I just hope this Big Brother house has a football pitch! Good day, my friends.

Pepe Moretti

Matthew Hamming - Bridgeport

The name’s Hamming. Matthew Hamming. Bridgeport’s favourite A-list celeb.

Sure I love the celebrity lifestyle, but I’d say I’m pretty down-to-earth as well. I regularly donate to charity and I support many good causes. I even drive my own car instead of getting rides in limos all the time. Limos are all well and good, but nothing beats the feeling of driving over the bridge in your very own automobile.

I have to admit, I do love the nightlife in our city. You’ll often find me out in the city’s best bars and clubs, often in the hot tub or at the bubble bar.

Ah, yes, life as an actor suits me well. But maybe it’s time for try something new; meet some new people. That’s why I’m heading to the Big Brother house.

So, I’ll see you there, my friends. Good evening.

Billy Caspian - Riverview

Hello there. My name is Billy, um, Caspian.

I’m an artist by trade and there’s nothing I like to do more than paint the day away. Alone. See, I don’t like other people too much.

You will occasionally see me out and about in my sports car, which is one of my biggest pleasures in life.

Some do say that I can be a bit of a slob. I suppose I am, but that’s mostly down to my table manners.

I don’t know if I’m going to cope well in the Big Brother house with eight other people. Maybe I could use it as a confidence boost? I don’t know, I suppose I’ll just have to wait and see!

Bye for now,

Billy

I love the way you've written the different personalities of each of the well-known townies! And they actually are all my favorite Townies so far. Except for Pepe, since I don't have Monte Vista yet. (But he seems cool enough).

Thanks!
I've never really touched most of these characters before so it was a bit of a challenge trying to capture their personalities from their traits and other things I knew about them. But obviously I did a good job  :)

Belinda Crumplebottom - Moonlight Falls

Hi there! I'm Belinda! You may know me as part of the Crumplebottom Trio, consisting of me and my two sisters, Bianca and Beatrice. I'm the 'middle sister', which means I have one big sister to look after me and one little sister to pick on! No, no, I'm only joking. I don't pick on people, 'cause that's mean. And I do most of the looking after around here, because my sisters are always squabbling! If I wasn't here, they'd probably set each other on fire!

Did I mention I was a witch? You'd probably already guessed from the first picture.

I'm a good witch, so I use my magic for good. Like conjuring apples and turning them into nice things, like diamonds!

I'm very talented on my broom. I enjoy going for stunt rides.

One of my other talents is making people laugh. Check out this face!

I can't wait to get to the Big Brother house!

See you real soon,
Belinda

Kitty Price - Lucky Palms

Oh, welcome. I'm Kitty Price, one of Lucky Palms' best known celebs. I know lots of people in town, including some of the richest and most famous people in town. Everyone wants to be my friend!

It's great being a celebrity. I get rides whenever I want in my private limo. Step on it, driver!

But, you see, there's one thing I'm missing. Love. I try my hardest and I'm well acquainted with many handsome men. But they never want to be more than friends? Maybe I just need to wish harder?

I suppose it's worth a try...

But who knows who I'll meet in the Big Brother house? Maybe there'll be someone who sees me as more than just the B-list celebrity...

Gracie Loveland - Appaloosa Plains

Hiya! I'm Gracie!!!

I LOOOVE it here in Appaloosa Plains because there are so many cute animals! Aww I just love the little animals! I have a really nice kitty named Babycakes who is the cutest little kitty in the whole world! The problem is that she doesn't seem to like me too much...

I like to garden and I have my own little vegetable patch. It has a gate so that the horses can't get at my plants but I'd happily give some carrots to the horses if they were hungry  :)

A lot of the boys here like me and I like them too but I want to wait until I get married or anything like that. I'm just not ready for that kind of commitment just yet.

Anyway, I hope I have lots of fun in the Big Brother house. My little Babycakes can't come with me but I have this nice cat lady who will look after her.

I can't wait!!!!!!!

Gracie x x  :-*

Anna-Liza Riddle - Twinbrook

Why, hello and welcome to my home. This is my study, where my tales of murder and mystery come to life! Armed with a computer and my imagination, I conjure some of the very best mystery novels around.

If only I had a typewriter! These computer things are all well and good but it doesn't feel so magical or mysterious as the tap-tap-tap of a typewriter.

Most of my stories are set in my hometown of Twinbrook. It is the perfect setting! The fog, the swamps and the deary atmosphere just give it that special something that I can't quite put my finger on.

As you know, a good writer is often a good reader. And I am no exception. You'll often find me with a hefty book in my hands, wrapped up in the tales told by some of our greatest story-tellers. Nothing beats a good book!

Apart from my study, my favourite place is the launderette. Not only do I do my washing there, I also meet up with friends.

I know I'll be the oldest in the Big Brother house, but I'm okay with that. I can certainly keep up with those whipper-snappers, no problem. We'll just have to see if they can keep up with me! Hehe!

So, I'll see you soon, dear friends. But watch your step, you never quite know who is creeping up behind you....

So, we've seen the last of our contestants. Soon they'll be heading to the Big Brother house, which is currently being built by fortheloveofcake and should be ready sometime this week. However I am getting Island Paradise at the end of the week so I may want some time to explore that before I actually place the Sims in the house.

The contestants will arrive in the house and then updates will (hopefully) be done every Sim week. I will add a separate spoiler to the first post which will list the HoH and evictee of each week, so don't read that if you want it to be a surprise. It's more as a recap to read at the end.

The only rule I'm tweaking slightly is that I may have a tiny bit of control over the Sims to make the story more exciting. However, they will mostly be running amok on free will, which I think is pretty fun.

So, you should hopefully see the first 'episode' at the beginning of next week at the latest. Stay tuned!

Yay! I first noticed this in your signature and I had to check it out. I often watch the show in real life. My favourite contestant is Gracie, partly because she is the spouse in my dynasty but also because she seems really friendly and nice. I also like Belinda.

Thanks, Pyro! I don't usually watch the programme but I might have a little look at the latest series to see how it works in a bit more detail.

I think both Belinda and Gracie will do well because of their friendly natures. I'm not so sure about Jared though!

Oooh, this will be fun. Jared. Good luck.

I remember in my Twinbrook dynasty file that Anna-Liza was one of the first people to die (she became a firefighter, so she was my founder's co-worker...and she also became a fairy), so it's nice to see her try to beat them young kids.
