But sometimes, you get the rare and random occurrence.

I don't even get rare or random occurrences.   As far as I know this issue is not handled or will it ever be, no one from twitter ever comments on it.

Yeah, there are a lot more same-sex couples/romance I think after this patch. My one teen sim just got romantic interested in another girl at her prom and had expressed interest in another girl before. Before, I had to instigate any romance attraction between any same sex sims. Interesting.

Edit: This patch fixed the omni plant seed ordering bug.  You can now do it from the mailbox like originally intended.

I did a factory reset, reinstalled all my store content, and am still having the issue.

I have a really weird glitch that started after the Island Paradise installation - over a thousand (1,000) social workers are being generated in my game.  Just social workers, nothing else.  I have no mods, no custom content installed.  After installing the expansion on Tuesday, I began getting the EA stuck notices, rapid-fire non-stop.  After 3 game days of them constantly generating, I exited and came back in and they continued for another few game days.  By this time the game was barely moving so I did the resetsim * to fix the "stuck sims", which didn't work.  So I went to get Twallan's Master Controller to use the Demographics to see what was happening.  That showed normal quantities of all other service sims and 1,455 child abuse social workers.  I just got out at the point and haven't been back in that particular save file since.  I don't know broke in the coding but someone needs a social worker in that game somewhere I guess.

Yes.

Do you have shop mode on?  I would turn that off if you do.  Delete all the items in the Featured Items folder.

I've done both of those things.  It sincerely seems to be an issue with the EP/patch.

I did the normal.  Is the superpatch available for mac yet?  That might fix me up.

Yeah, I typed it wrong in the post.  I was heading out the door for a reunion so was in a hurry.  It doesn't change the rest though.
