Riverview Free Download

Has anyone successfully downloaded the free world from the Sims store 'Riverview'? 

I've clicked the download button, followed the next couple of steps & clicked 'Allow' but it doesn't add it to the list of worlds when selecting a game to play of in my downloads in my game launcher.

Does anyone know why or how to download it successfully please?

Did you install the World via your Launcher after downloading it or did you just open the game without installing it after download?

I downloaded it from the Sims site, then checked my game and it wasn't listed. So I closed it down & tried downloading it again, restarted PC but still not there. So I checked my downloads in the games launcher to see if it was there but still nothing.

Did you move the download to the Downloads folder in the EA folder? It should be in there, if it is double click it and that should force it to install via Launcher.

Did you check your purchase history? It might show up in there.

No I didn't do that. Can you tell me how to do that please?

When you downloaded Riverview did your Sims 3 Launcher pop up and show it downloading or did you download it to your downloads folder on the computer?

In order to use content from the store and exchange it has to be installed via the launcher into your game.  So when you have your launcher open before you hit the play button, go to the downloads button underneath and you should see everything you've tried to download from the exchange and store.  Select Riverview if it's there and then hit the install button.

No the launcher didn't pop up and it's not in my downloads in the launcher. When I pushed the download button, a pop up came up asking to 'Allow' and then another 'Allow' but nothing else happened.

I searched 'Riverview' and it has bought up search results

Riverview Lite sounds like you downloaded a version of Riverview but not the world.

Try to redownload from the store and see if it will let you.

Riverview_Lite also is a file in CAW when you download it. However _objects and _sims aren't I don't think? Not sure.

Should I give up? I wonder if it's me & my pc or a problem their end??

When you go to this page and choose download.  What exactly happens? You said a window pops up.  Before you hit any buttons, what does it say? 

What browser do you use?  Internet explorer, firefox, chrome, opera?
