Hi, this is a problem I have only seen mentioned once on a tech board and no one responded to that problem, ever.
I have 3 sims in my household. When I change from one to the next the panels usually switch too, showing me the picture of the sim I am controlling. After about 30 minutes in the game those panels stop switching properly. The photo of the SIM will stay stuck on my first sim. And even if I am actively controlling another sim, the interactions will be mentioning my main sim.
Example:
Tera is the first sim. She is the orginal. I added my sons sim, Benny. We then added a room mate, Lucy. So now we have 3 sims.
I will switch from Tera to Lucy and then go talk to Benny. The dialogue will say, "Benny thinks Tera is OK" but its Lucy who is talking to him. Also, the Sim photo doesn't change from Tera to Benny and the panels off to the right will not show the propery relationship with other sims, it will only show Tera's relationship with them. For instance, Benny and Lucy are best friends, but if I click on Benny, his job panel is accurate but if I go to relationships and hover over Lucy it will show "acquaintance" which is what Lucy is to Tera.
We have abandoned one game already that had this problem and started a new one and rebuilt, hoping to debug ourselves, but the problem followed us to the new game and new sims.
We've only been playing for about 2 weeks, we are such newbies that we don't even know how to handle this bug. We did not have any mods when we started to have this problem. Today I just downloaded a mod to make it so I can skip the intro since restarting the sims game is currently the only way to reset our sims to have the proper panels.
