Comments would be superfluous, but I love the noses -- and the rhymes.

I know.  Thank you.

It isn't true love unless your noses clip into each other when you embrace.

Are they both on the rainbow slider?

Bubble is on the dark slider and Sean is on the yellow to orange slider.

There is one thing that needs to be said.
The following images may fill you with dread.

There aren't that many of things to be seen.
Except the children which may turn you green.

Also don't forget to share with your spouses, roommates and friends
The laughter at seeing their faces is laughter that never ends

So in the last update we left off with Bubble asking for a baby and Sean agreeing.   They both got themselves a fertility treatment and then followed three really boring days of watching tv, listening to music and fulfilling wishes.    As I had hoped, Bubble gave birth to triplets, who actually had names at the time but I couldn't be bothered to remember them so we'll just call them Merry, Berri and Berry.    Due to my ultimate planning, the triplets were born just in time that they lost a day of infancy within the hour.  There were several factors that led me to forgetting to age up Merry and Berri early.  Mostly because I didn't think of it - I was just bored and using speed 3 plus strollers to make everyone friends.    I actually didn't full on decide to make Berry the heir until I saw her as a toddler.    Oh and here's some photos of the little darlings.

Merry

Berri

And our heir - Berry Licious.

Toddler training consisted of Merry and Berri being thrown into a playpen while Berry got the treatment of her family-oriented mother.  Daddy spent time with her at the xylophone and peg box while her siblings spent time in the baby walkers.  About 24 hours after their birthdays, there were cakes on the table again.   This time all the kids got an extra helping of cute!

Merry

Berri

And heir Berry.

Sean tutored Berry first and then her siblings all though the night thanks to an abundance of alchemy elixirs.  All but Berri went to school with an A  and now Big Daddy Sean will be the tutoring Sim of the household until I get a logic heir.  All three darlings joined ballet and got to level 3 of it on their first day in class.  Two more school days later and all three were back at the kitchen table for another round of cake to celebrate Berry's honor roll.

Upon seeing Merry's happy face, it was then decided that maybe we should bring the household back down to just three people plus the dog that got picked up randomly.

Berri was more than excited to get to her adulthood so much that she took the time to have both her birthdays before her sister, Berry.

Merry once again.. not amused so he called up the real estate people and begged to get out of here.

While her siblings were leaving her, Berry aged up into a beautiful teen.   Complete with weird chin disease that lools like a soul patch.

She also gained the best fashion choices I've ever seen for outerwear.  Here she is begging to learn how to drive.  Sean only agrees because they now have a motive mobile.

At this point in the game, I had at least one person cheering me on and I got the advice that I should do something about their house.   Suggestion made, offer accepted... many many many bad words used  and hours later.

Ta-Da!

Bubble got herself a bridge.

Complete with front door under the arch.

She also got another present but more on that later.   Berry got to level 3 Cemetery Clerk after a week.  Never had so many troubles keeping someone happy to go to a job that was based on mood.   The night she finally got her promotion and found a paper boy to torture into being her mate, Berry got to blow out some more candles.  Aww.. Isn't she lovely?  Wait.. no she's not.   We need different hair and better clothes.

Much better.

Being the sister of dragons, Berry also decided to meet random townies.  Then she met Riley Cromos who was about to keel over.

One fountain of youth elixir and a best friend potion later - instant attraction.

Even when she looked like this... Oh.. the best part about Berry?   Her skill of choice is Inventing.  So there have been a lot of explosions, butt fires and sore thumbs.  She started as a child and never slept like her siblings to try and get to the top of her craft early.

"Man there is just something about seeing a nose shaped like that with a burn smudges on it.   Not to mention that her soul patch/lip distortion is also pure black.  Not a smudge on her ears though! Fire was probably too afraid they'd bite."

Next time with the Liciousnesses - Riley joins the family, Berry has her first child.  Oh and showing off Bubbles new present that I mentioned and then forgot to show.  ;)

If you've never played a fairy child before then you're missing out on an experience.  Berry as a toddler could feed herself and put herself to bed because all I needed was a fairy house.  As a child,  she had an invisible IV attached to the elixir cabinet that kept her well invigorated and blissful.  She would have some pollen punch on occasion but generally she seemed to enjoy the copious amounts of grapes that sat in her pocket.    As a teenager, she learned to drive and from then on out.  She was constantly on her way somewhere without ever leaving the house except for school and work.  However, at one point she simply refused to take the motive mobile and kept going to work with only a half happy mood.

As an adult, Berry is boring.   Berry is busy being boring.  She makes widgets, she blows them up, she collects the scrap and repeats.  This was done until we were finished all the challenges almost simultaneously.   At least all but the master inventor and Ultimate Invention.   I couldn't bring myself to watch her sit in front of station and I wanted this dynasty to be done quickly.  So I only made large inventions when I had to.   Eventually the Simbot chain started and I rejoiced.  Between dragons and elixirs, she doesn't pee, shower, eat, sleep or talk to anyone unless it's absolutely necessary.    Welcome to the life of a Licious.

With her purple outfit and his purple hair, this was obviously a couple made in heaven.  Ignore Daddy Sean and Lonnie the Black dragon in the background sleeping through this enormous event.

Since he joined the household and they were both so nice as to pop some wishes, Guess what they got to do!  Give you three guesses and first two don't count.

Now it's time for Berry to have her first Child.

   Berry: "It's Alive!"
Riley: "Why can't I get to the bird?!"

Meet Alfred.

Even though he is her first child - the newness wears off quickly.
"That is an expression that is made more awesome by her face."

   Berry: "It's alive!"

Then we had Clyde join the ranks as child number two.   He seemed really surprised to be made.

   Berry: "It's Alive!"
Riley: "Ew it's an unmade bed"
Dog: "What's with this witch and beds."

Or maybe it's fright at meeting his family for the first time.

It was about this time that the dragons took a nap.   Wondering when the next artificial being would come into the household.

This is when I realized that I had no light in the corner where the fairy house lives.

The dog seems happy we got fireproof homestead for one of Berry's LTRs.

Oh, hey look it's Bubble and Riley talking about the babies Berry is almost ready to have.

This is Riley making a face....

.... about the time that Bubble hit him with the ugly stick beauty branch.
"I think he's actually hissing at her.  Who does that?"

And for being mean to her son-in-law, Bubble gets banished to her room by Berry.   Her room being the present I forgot to show you last time.

What kind of present is that you ask?    Who wouldn't want a retirement pod Troll hole!  It comes with a rocking chair, mini fridge, sink, trash can, bean bag chair, tv, video game system and a shower.    It's obviously the best thing ever.

The beauty of a troll hole.   If you haven't figured it out this is obviously a giant piece of my strategy.   A tv that doesn't give skill points, a shower that doesn't break, A sink and trash can for trash.  A mini fridge for meals and a rocking chair to sleep in.   A very awesome lady gave me the trick that rocking chairs means there are no burglars because even if everyone is sleeping in a rocking chair, the game acts like they are partially awake.    The giant eye on the wall means my Avant Garde got me the achivement for critiquing because she does it 20 times a day which gives her a happy moodlet.    There is no door at this moment when I took the picture but there is during important family events.    When Bubble was in this room, I never had to check on her.  She took care of all of her needs when she needed to.  I just looked in and pulled out the bowls, juice boxes and plates she didn't clean up when I thought about it.

Welcome to the second life of a Licious.. Mwahahahahahaha.  Seriously - between advice I got from Vinyl, my own sense of fiendish delightment and seeing Orange Iguana do his "cells" this was the single key part to doing what I did in such a hurry.  When I needed a Sim they got a door but they always got "sent back to their room" when I was done with that single moment.

Is it mean?  They're living a fulfilling life and they can do what they want all day long.  They never go hungry or stay dirty or get tired.  Every day they talk to family and friends.  Often I would find them texting or calling random people.  Not to mention all the gaming they can do as full fledged nerds.

Coming up next time -- How Berry made me rethink my naming strategy.

That was a brilliant piece of strategy, it improves on (What you never got to see), the "Immortal Floor" in each of my (Failed) dynasties. I still had to micromanage much more than you.

You're a genius, Rica  ;D

In your second-to-last update you said Berry asked Sean for a baby. I think you mean Bubble.

The troll hole is brilliant! Oh and the whole den being under a bridge is just too fantastic. What a wonderful sight. She must have a Steel Bladder because I see no toilet in there. Steel Bladder is worth its LTHP in gold, I tell you what.

Once a person was in the troll hole, I never played them much.  The only one I got paranoid about was the vampire heir.  I was so worried she would kill herself by forgetting to eat plasma juice (which sometimes she did).

Thanks for catching that.  I fixed it now.  Yeah.  In my Building Contest entry, it mentions that Steel Bladder is a must.   That's the first LTR I ever buy for all of my Sims.

My building contest entry can be found here. It's not the same as this one.  I will have full pictures of Bubble's lair by the end of the story.    I can't see myself doing this to Airica and Reka my other Life States founders but part of me wishes I could to make the game go better.  Those are just bigger stories.

I may build a smaller version of the troll bridge and home that's not on a 64 x 64.  It seems to work better on a smaller lot for me but it's really all about the simplicity.

Aw, the toddlers are so cute!  I love min-maxed slider-faced toddlers - they're super expressive.  Berry has surprisingly lovely shaped eyes, and speaking of eyes how are Riley's eyelashes even possible?!  I don't know what plastic surgery tricks you've got but the results are astounding.

Obviously I love the troll hole so much.  The Fyings basically lived in an ultra-large troll hole and had small locked rooms for the skilling items, which works both better and worse at keeping the social meter up depending on how nerdy the household is.  :P

Since Berry is such a skilled inventor I do hope to see some hygienator action at play, maybe under the crib...?   ;)

I'm afraid non of the hygienators made it into pictures.  Didn't even think of it.  I may get a shot for you right at the end just for you, of course.    I liked the individual rooms because it meant they never did anything they weren't supposed to.  At one point Bubble's husband and Gen 3's wife were both flirting off and on so they got their own holes.

As Riley's eyelashes - they were already a maxed out slider.  Make the eyes bigger and apparently it does weird things to them.  I see it a couple of times in the family.

The key to most of my transformations was randomness.    For one feature I would ask my nephew left or right and he was give me his answer.  That feature then had every slider of that feature left or right.  For some I would do a pattern 2 left 1 right, 1 left 2 right or 1 left 1 right.   Usually wiggling them until I got something I liked that didn't look like anyone else.

At one point I decided I wanted something different and worked something in a special way just because I could.  The only thing I couldn't control was of course the skin sliders but I was in the best town for that kind of thing.  Dragon Valley plus fountain of youth elixirs meant I kept a variety of funky looking people around.

Awesome tip of the day: Little rooms will not keep in a ghost.   This is why a ghost is the absolute life state I did.   I wanted it earlier but then realized the troll holes wouldn't work and I just couldn't have that.

:o  Oh Lord, the troll hole is brilliant but the giant eye is VERY unsettling. Bubble may feel she's being ignored, so let's give her a reminder that Big Brother is always watching.

I kid, I kid, I'm actually really enjoying this story  :D. I'm waiting on the edge of my seat for the next chapter and heir to show up!

Just knowing that hygienators played their part to make the dynasty's life better makes me happy.   :)

Your helper did a great job on assisting with the plastic surgeries!  Everyone is looking very unique and distinctive.

Ghosts are the one life state I'm not sure how to safely "lock" away.  Are they able to change levels if there aren't any stairs?  Can they travel through non-basement ground (unconnected basement rooms surrounded by black nothingness)?  Their non-corporeal nature always intrigues me but frightens me away from using them in a dynasty.

Ghosts cannot be stopped.  In my Grim Dynasty, I had the gate locked to keep Tala and Malcolm hunting in the yard and Gunther floated through the mountain to get to work.  It took him all day but by golly he got there.   A long time ago, ghosts couldn't go through fences but even that's changed.    I was trying to take a photo with Boo-T on top of the bridge but his ride for work showed up so he just floated down to the ground instead of going around.  And yes ghosts can go even if there are no steps between levels.    I've watched ghosts go three levels down to randomly sleep in a sarcophagus instead of the rocking chair on the ground floor.

I actually really like that piece of graffiti.  I had it in the bathroom at one point then moved it in with her to give her something else to do.  She always seemed to enjoy critiquing it so it worked out.

Next update will be tomorrow.  Normal life returns in the Rica house which means children to entertain.  But I remembered to upload the photos already while I was watching True Blood so that's a step in the right direction.

Thank you everyone for reading.  Originally I was just going to give stats and a few photos but then I just couldn't help but share these guys with you.
