Skill Bar is Stuck

I'm not sure where to post this, I think this would be the right place.

Basically, I have a fairy Sim who I'm having learn Gardening and Nectar Making for my Life States Dynasty. The skill bar for both of these seems to be frozen. I did reset him and for a while he was managing to level up Gardening, but now both are stuck again. I have reset several times and cleared my caches and the DC backup folder. Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

I know something that will probably fix it, but considering this is a dynasty, you may have to try something else or get permission. If it's first generation, you probably won't have an issue getting permission. Just go to Edit Town, copy your family or lot to the library, delete the original, and then replace them with the copy. You'll lose relationships with sims outside the household, but you will keep relationships in the house and job level.

It is the second generation but is definitely worth a try. I can't think of anything else that might work myself.

Don't worry, I will definitely ask for permission first. Wouldn't want to ruin my chances of HOF.
