L shaped stairs don't work in my game

Hey,

I have L shaped stairs in the build mode, they come with pets i think. Not the spiral ones. And when I place them, its all good until my sims go up the stairs. They go up like the stairs is a spiral staircase, but they can't go down, so i have to remove the stairs and replace it with either a regular staircase or a spiral one.

I have seen videoes on youtube, where the sims use all of the L shaped stairs, not like it is a spiral staircase, so I know that its supposed to work. But in my game, it doesn't work... Anyone know what is causing it? Its not the family, I've tried to place the stairs in different worlds, but its the same.

Sounds like there may be a problem with the way you're building it. Can we get  picture first?You're using a frieze, right?

I thought the stairs where in the build mode. After a little research, I found out that the stairs I have might be custom content. Its an icon of Pets on the stairs, its "finished" L-shaped stairs you just place in the house. But at the same time, next to the icon on the picture of the stair, is also a star which means its custom content. It confuses me, is the stairs from pets or is it custom content?

I'll find a picture of which stair I mean.
