It's proper to consider the possibility of cheating through the ready-made buildings into enabling you to build, such as using the restrictbuildbuyinbuildings false cheat to build in apartments in TS3.

Yes, unless they left out the Build tools altogether.  They did say you would not be able to change the actual geometry of the rooms.

After watching that demo, I'm finding that I do want to get this game now.

Good point, hadn't thought of that.

I have just been on the Simsprogram site reading about this game, all I can say is, yep going to get it.  It looks awesome and the sims actually do look more detailed.  I think this is going to be great.  They did say, in a roundabout way, that there will be expansions, so this game is going to be pretty cool.  I don't really mind that there is not that much building, I like to play more anyway.

I have already began planning what type of sim I'll make. I always wanted to mix custom potions, just as I made Nectar and Custom Drinks in TS3. So I choose........physician.......

I change my mind. As most of you know, I am a historical maniac, and a very big warmonger and war-maniac. So I choose........either king.....or knight......or both!! :D

I think part of the point of this game is that you don't have to choose just one Sim to play.  You switch among all of them in your kingdom.

That's the point of whole Sims series! :) Life simulation, and enjoyment :D

Still, everyone will have one of those characters to call their "main". I think my mains will be knight, blacksmith and wizard.

Therefore I think we will control the main characters who on their own have sims working under them. So you will control the head knight (or whatever I should call that), the chief blacksmith and the ... (how do you call that with wizards?) the Gandalf or Merlin under the wizards.

And blood-stained dismounted Feudal Knights running around with swords and shields, of course! ;)

Well the point is correct. Horses are a must.

Hmmm, I prefer Elephants. ;)

Then you are going to choose Timurid faction. Or probably Seleucid Empire or Carthaginians. :D

Got an email from EA today that if you pre-order the digital Limited Edition Sims Medieval, you can get a digital copy of the High End Loft stuff pack for free, but it's for this weekend only.
