Husband sim cheating on his wife?

Hi,

Just a question - I have 2 sims in a good married relationship for awhile now, they are very much attracted to each other, but I keep constantly getting messages that he's cheating and has been caught cheating with another sim.  I have complete control over him, he never goes out alone except to work or go fishing maybe and he spends quality time with his children too.  He always goes out with his wife on dates and they spend alot of time with each other.  There's no romantic interests at all in his relationship panel.  So where would that be coming from?

If he is a celebrity their could be messages that pop up talking about things like that. If that's true he would have a moodlet, the picture being a bag over a head. And you can sue for slander at city hall for a cost.

I had something similar to this happen once before. Out of nowhere, the wife had a fight with her husband because he was cheating. I looked in his memories and he had a romantic interest in the past that wasn't her. It was before the wife, though. Even though he never interacted with her, I guess it still counted, since the romantic interest never really 'ended' (though she wasn't even in his relationship panel).

Thanks for responding.  No, he isn't a celebrity.  I only have Generations installed, no other expansion packs.  I'm going to check his relationship panel again.  He did have a fiance or wife in the past, maybe thats why. I guess he'll never get the eternally faithful moodlet lol

I've had this happen, too.  I was sure the husband had been under my control all the time, but I think maybe someone flirted with him when I wasn't looking.  Something as simple as that can cause the cheating issue.
