Is there a large flat town with a beach?

I'll explain my question so it'll make sense and any advice you can give will be greatly appreciate.

I have sims 3 (obviously) but with that I have the Sunset Valley town, I have expansion CDs so have built this town up to busting point.
I have just purchased 'Late Night' so now I have Bridgeport. So lots of new exciting looking buildings & new options that won't look right in Sunset Valley & vice versa.

What I'd like is a large flat town that I can edit & add new lots to so I can have a built up area & a beach & smaller communities all within 1 town. So back to my question, is there a town that exists like this or would I have to creat one from scratch? I haven't done that but have seen its an option to creat your own, are they playable or just  for design purposes?

So you just want a blank beach world, right? All of the official towns come populated with houses and sims, so I'm guessing that's not what you're looking for. You have two options, though. You can create your own world in Create-A-World. It's a big project though and would take a lot of time. Or, you can go to the official site exchange and see if there are any blank worlds. The way CAW works is that you are given a block of land and you mold it from there. It's essentially an island, so chances are you can find someone who made a beach in the official site. I would recommend the latter.

That's what I thought to be honest (starting from scratch) thank you though I'll have a look at the exchange. I didn't know it had worlds/towns on there

It sure does! Some of them are really good and cc free.
