I remember reading your first attempt, and I was so bummed when it got sent to the graveyard. It's so good to know that it's being continued like this!  :D I'm glad that everyone survived the meteor crash.

I'm pretty happy I'm able to continue it. This start was definitely a doozy, but luckily everyone survived. :)

Ch. 3: Just Chillin' and Skillin'

After the first couple of eventful days, the family was relieved to settle into a routine. It was a strict routine, without much relaxation, but everyone knew there was a goal. Peregrine was still in the dark about Pocahontas's aspiring immortality. The romance was so sudden that it just hadn't come up. Luckily, Peregrine enjoyed skills that Pocahontas needed to utilize for her challenge.

Ana's schedule consisted of cooking, reading cookbooks, and functioning and the family alchemist. Pocahontas's garden was growing slowly, but Ana made use of what ingredients she had and used them in both cooking and alchemy.

Peregrine took a liking to Ana's Invigorating Potions. They were bitter, but they gave him such a boost of energy!

Grace spent a lot of time searching for collectibles. Among her most amazing finds included three tiberium. Ana cut it up in the gem machine. The gem dust, when set outside of inventory, also grew into a full-sized tiberium. This gave the family a total of six tiberium and way too much money to count. All hail the tiberium!

Meeko and Mia spent a lot of time exploring. At night, they would venture to the graveyard together to fish. Neither had caught the elusive Deathfish yet, but they still had plenty of time and many opportunities.

In the meantime, they loved to play with each other. These two kitties were exactly alike.

When Ana did have free time, she finished teaching Alen his toddler skills.

Pocahontas helped on the side, but she found herself playing with him more than teaching him. He was just such a cute nooboo, and she enjoyed making him giggle and smile.

Poor Alen was not the brightest crayon in the box. A xylophone was purchased for him but he never quite figured out how to use it. To him, the xylophone made a good chair and the mallet an excellent teething ring. This possibly could just mean he was brilliantly creative. Let's go with that.

Pocahontas's garden was coming along slowly. She still hadn't grown a life fruit, but she had confidence that one would sprout up soon. Speaking of spouting, Pocahontas was hoping to have something sprouting in her belly sometime soon. During a night of romance, Pocahontas made sure to slap her Woohooium for good luck.

The luck paid off because she soon became pregnant.

Additionally, Alen aged up into a child.

He gained the trait Artistic and found himself at the easel while Peregrine took up sculpting and photography instead.

While out in her garden one morning, Pocahontas went into labor. She rushed inside and soon delivered a pale-skinned baby girl, Rapunzel.

Everything was going well in the Queen household, but Pocahontas had something urgent to discuss with Grandmother Willow. She snuck out late in the night to make sure she was alone.

Grandmother Willow never appeared.

I had to. Tangled is my new favorite Disney movie. I'm sure I've watched it at least 6 times now. :) And I guess you'll just have wait and find out about Grandmother Willow!

It was nice to see that all the drama has slowed down for a bit . Every family member was able to start working on their skills . Anxious to see which parent Rapunzel will take after . I feel bad for Pocahontas that Grandmother Willow didn't appear . Great chapter !
Memories have no expiration date .

Awesome! I was hoping we'd see Rapunzel - she's one of my favourites too. I can't work out if there are enough Princesses that you don't have to repeat one...

Except for Pocahontas, I think I would only have to repeat one. I may repeat two, based on skills I need and that most suit each princess. I'm not sure yet.

It's very soothing gameplay compared to that first day. :) Rapunzel hasn't aged up yet in my game, so I'm not sure yet either!

Oh no. You might not like this dynasty then. ;)

I LOVE Tangled! When we first got it, my (12 year old) sister fell alseep the first 3 or so times we watched it. (It was late-ish at night, so I don't blam her.) So we had a reason to watch it alot. ;D

Also, I'm SO hoping Rapunzel will fall in love with a thief.  *crosses fingers*

Well it is nice to see that things have mellowed out a bit since your near apocalyptic first day (which I am still jealous of by the way).  I'm sure that the villains are just gathering their resources and plotting their next move heh.

I loved Peregrine's face when when drinking the elixers and the screenshot of Pocahontas standing before a non-responsive Grandmother Willow is really striking with the story you have going on.  I am looking forward to what you have in the works here. Welcome to the story Rapunzel! May your life be much less exciting than day one.

I never got to see your first attempt and do have a bit of a soft spot for Disney characters, admittedly I am more of a villains fan myself but without those pesky princesses they wouldn't be their villainy selves would they? I would really like to read it is it still around somewhere I could check it out?

I googled it. There are 11. In no particular order: Meridith, Rapunzel, Mulan, Tiana, Pocahontas, Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Auroa, Jasmine, Ariel. These are the official ones.

I'm not doubting your google search at all but I do find that list a bit odd.  Technically Mulan, for instance, is not a princess, having never married into royalty and coming from a humble background.  Given that kind of useless information, I'm just surprised characters like Alice, Wendy, Esmerelda, or even Megura (from Hercules i have no idea how it is really spelled) are not on this list. Let's not forget Kida from Atlantis as well! Oddly enough I post this because I was so very much hoping for Mary Poppins and her wonderful personality to make it into this dynasty.  :)

Yeah, I know I have way too much useless Disney trivia in my head.

I agree but Disney has an official thing. They have a princess court and have a ceremony for each princess. I saw them bring in meridith on yotube. Thats the thing that gabby the gymnist was at
Disney for.

On a realistic term was you said is right. And on disney's officail term those 11 are the princesses.

The offcial Disney princesses are the most popular ones, and/or tend to be from fairy tales. Hence, Wendy and Alice won't count because both of their stories weren't written until to 1800s/1900s. (Yeah, It's weird. But the older the story or myth about her, the more of a princess he will be.)
