Ch. 4: Blossoming BudsWhen we last left off, Rapunzel had just been born. She was adored by Pocahontas of course, but also everyone in the family.
After a while, she turned into a beautiful nooboo.
Rapunzel was naturally blonde and pale. I couldn't have asked for better results, except for her father's green eyes. She was the light of Pocahontas's life.
She quickly taught her daughter invaluable skills, including walking and talking.
"One day, you'll learn that love comes at a price, Rapunzel," whispered Pocahontas. She sat there with her daughter while Peregrine stood to the side, sculpting ice block after ice block. Rapunzel's parent's romance had come swiftly and was short-lived. They hardly spoke anymore.
The family friend Ana was having a more successful lovelife. Out of the blue, she was asked on a date by one Mr. Star. He was a handsome, and it was rumored that he knew a few secret skills that he had inherited from his parents. Ana was a little intimidated to be asked out by this five-star celebrity, but when she arrived at their destination, she was more confused than intimidated. He had asked her to a date at the local school...
Maybe he had some social problems? He did live in that huge mansion all by himself, and with the relentless papparazzi (who were all-too-present on their date) it wouldn't be a surprise if he didn't get out much. He never tried any moves on her. It was more of a friendly date, but Ana enjoyed their time together and hoped to see him again.
More time passed and Alen had his teen birthday. He grew up to be quite a handsome teenager. He was going to be a heartbreaker, for sure.
With the help of Peregrine and Grace's many tiberiums, the family soon had enough money for a wild renovation. They completely tore down their old home and built a new one from scratch.
The house wasn't completely furnished yet, but the family had plenty of money leftover to buy a couple cars and then some. Soon after the renovation, Ana went on a second date with her new "friend," Mr. Star. The venue was much nicer this time. The first thing Ana did was order a round of drinks on herself. Both she and Mr. Star could do with a little loosening up, especially Mr. Star, who seemed to be pretty nervous about the date overall.
The venue was very active and many famous residents were out for the night. Do you recognize any?
Ana and Mr. Star got along splendidly. "Mr. Star," said Ana, "you know you've got quite the woman on your hands tonight."
"Oh, I know, Ms. Buznik," he replied as he took a step forward. "You are quite the woman, indeed."
The bar soon closed, and they were forced to leave. While Mr. Star was a perfect gentleman, he said his goodbyes while still at the bar (mostly due to routing issues), even though Ana was hoping something more would happen that night.
"Goodnight, Ms. Buznik," was all he said. Ana was almost disappointed, but there was just something so charming and just... good about him. Hopefully they would have a third date soon.
