Hmmm. Poor Leo. Being the heir means a hard life. But he'll finish his requirements and it will be all better. I love how you worked the Island Paradise stuff in! It just fits so well with Seasons. Maeve is beautiful and perfect for the role. And I agree that Leo as a celebrity psychic is simply brilliant.
I love the Island Paradise stuff, though windsurfing in Dragon Valley causes some pretty hilarious confusion to the game when a bridge shows up.
Poor, poor Leo . . . at least you can envy your brother's lack of sleep and general confusion!
Maeve, as always, continues to stun me. I assume that she's an original townie, so now I need to find her and save her to the Sim Bin to play with!
She is an original townie. She is married with two or three sons in my game and her husband and children are fairies, which is odd. Her original husband is a looker too.
I really am enjoying your story so far. I am sad your Dynasty failed the last time due to being unable to be on honor roll due to snow days(I've learned that lesson and set Winter to be shorter than the other seasons for that reason) but having an alien spouse is awesome. I intend to have an Alien heir for my third generation.
LOVE the last part! I'm glad someone is starting to show Island Paradise stuff, even if you can't add dive spots to other towns. (Not like I would, since Rica said that adding them requires cheats and would bug up the neighborhood. I hope Patch 1.6 fixes this issue.) At least they get to windsurf and get suntans!
Keep up the good work!
Child honor roll is a tough requirement! I love winter a lot, so I didn't rig it shorter, I just have to time the baby making properly, I suppose.
It's impressive how you manage to develop each of your characters so well considering the number of household members and how demanding the requirements are for the heir. Kudos!
Your Sims also seem to have excellent luck with genetics. This is my first time seeing alien children included in a dynasty and they made for really uniquely attractive Sims (Scorpio was my favorite). I'm eager to see how Leo's genes pair with Maeve's.
Thank you! I was actually thinking maybe the Bliss family was seeming kind of cardboard since there are so many of them. Definitely less babies for the vamp generation. I was hoping I'd get a rainboo alien, but all the kids got Dax's skintone. Scorpio and Leo were both a pleasant surprise. Their features look strangely human!
Why did I not find this sooner!? Bad Wolfie, bad! Anyway, so sorry about the restart, but all the alienboos are awesome! I have yet to get to play an alien so I'm super envious! And to echo everyone else, Maeve is gorgeous! I love Dragon Valley so very much!
I was really lucky that Dax showed up so early in the game. He's made a great spouse! My favorite alien ability is the quick repairs on household objects. A witch and an alien together for the first generation has rigged the entire home unbreakable in record time without ever accessing the handiness skill!

This update will be a short one, though not because it's been a short amount of time. Not only am I an adult now, but so is my baby sister! Can you imagine the complex this has given me?
And, to make matters worse, my nephews are teens now (and darn near identical). This is Kris.
Gem went out looking for love, fearful of her fleeting youth. Being the only female alien the town has ever seen, she met more interest in an academic sense than a romantic one.
Though of course, she caught the eye of the town womanizer Mason Stack
householme.
I don't trust him as far as I can throw him, but Gem seems happy enough that I'm not going to step in. Yet.
Then again, I know how distracting the attractiveness of a vampire can be.
My wife is incredibly understanding of my nose-to-the-grindstone sentence as I slave over alchemy and logic. My darling little klepto is climbing the ranks at her job, learning piano, and recently brought home this little snack.
Dad got SUPER excited, and had the thing installed on a branch and named Henry before Maeve could change out of her coat.
However, he disappeared a few days later. Everyone swears total ignorance to this, but I have my suspicions.
My own career is progressing slowly. I love what I do, though.
Being that I can legitimately read minds and have already mastered alchemy, I've made a begrudging decision to become a mystic rather than a celeb. Doesn't stop me from messing with clients every now and then, though. Also, someone changed my work uniform to a towel and boots.
Sure, I could change it, but why deprive the world of beauty? I've spent a lot of time in the elixir shop buying, creating, and throwing potions as well. Three guesses which one is my favorite.
I also keep having to rescue this errant mermaid from herself.
Eventually, I just turned her into a genie so dehydration wouldn't matter anymore. Hello unique best friend! Don't die on me.
At home, winter settled in. By day, my parents got frisky in an igloo.
Gem transfigured gems.
I hid from my wife to accomplish work opportunities.
And Mason the Player made the occasional housecall.
By night, Maeve terrorized the town while Mom put on private concerts for the family, our elderly cat Diana yowling along.
I gathered ingredients and threw bees at people.
It was the night I finished all of my skill challenges that Gem approached me, apprehensive and trembling, with a big request.
Of course I'd have to discuss it with Maeve, but anything for my baby sister.
"You know," Mom said. "Sometimes I think your evil trait is just masking a big softie trait."
She doesn't know what she's on about. I need to go throw more bees at people. Come on final opportunity!
