Fiona is lovely! Nice to know she can be a scary, scary woman.
Sorry to hear about your CAS problems! Hopefully that will clear up soon.
She is so adorable. Maeve is lucky I didn't spot her first. Scorpio actually found her all on his own.
Sorry to hear about the CAS problems, but I'm anxiously awaiting those alien/vampboos!
And it's so fitting that a half-alien made an alien snowman.
I loved her snowman! That's the first alien one I've gotten. I think the eyes are potatoes.

It's been a hectic time for the Bliss family.
Virgo, wanting to individualize herself from her sisters, chopped all of her hair off. Mom was horrified, but the rest of us think it looks chic.
She ended up taking Fiona to the hospital when she went into labor. Everyone else was either at work or school and I, unfortunately, was on fire. At least I was able to stop the crazy woman from driving herself.
So, baby Kristofer was born happy and healthy after many hours of labor. In the meantime, our Gem had her young adult sparkles.
Unlike Virgo, she didn't remake herself. She stayed mostly the same, even down to the hat.
And finally, with all of us adults, we were able to graduate. I, naturally, was valedictorian. I was also most likely to burn the house down.
It's funny to me that we were all graduates on the same day when we're all so far apart in life right now. Scorpio in particular is miles ahead of the rest of us.
After graduating, I approached Maeve about moving in. It was when she crossed the threshold that the realization of who and what we were hit her. She touched my face in wonder and said, "Are you Orin's heir?"
But before I could answer her, we had a bit of a setback.
And so Maeve started her life with us mourning the loss of a cat she'd never met before. Rest well, Apollo. You were a good companion to my mother during her requirements.
Before he passed, I constructed a new bedroom for my wife-to-be.
Only ten days from elder, I had a young again potion awaiting my vampiric wife when she woke up the next day. I also arranged for my sisters to see to her restyle. They also took the time to explain everything to her.
Maeve, restricted into her conservative apparel by a traditional husband, bloomed under the encouraging stylings of my baby sisters.
She retained the style associated with Dragon Valley without giving up her own flair. "After all," she said in wonder, "I'm part of the Valley's future now."
She looked at the girls and confessed that her mother had told her the story of the curse as a child, explaining her pretty blue-green skin.
Her tattoo surprised the girls, but she giggled, confessing that she did rebel against the constraints of her respectable marriage every now and then. Particularly when she became a vampire instead of a fairy like her husband and sons.
"So, Leo is the heir?" she said, realization coming over her while her hair was teased and her measurements taken. "And ... I'm the chosen. The Vampire queen."
Her hands trailed over her still flat mid-section, a smile flickering just under the surface. "My children will be of the line."
"How have you hidden from the press?" she wondered. So Taurus explained that as a Watched founder, our mother was able to protect the home from the attentions of the world. A truly wonderful gift for us.
After all this, as she waited for her adult sons to arrive in time for our wedding, she approached Mom to talk about it all. To discuss her excitement to be a part of the history that goes deep down in her bones.
I'm not sure how I feel about my future step-sons finding my sisters a little more interesting than is strictly familial.
But honestly, it was not the main concern that night.
As the first of their children to be married, I knew that this would be a big deal for my parents, which is why I set up the arch upstairs at all. They carried on wonderfully.
And I married the perfect woman. My vampire queen.
The girls were appropriately sappy about it. I sometimes wonder if they will all stay with us here at home or if they will have weddings of their own.
There will be time to worry about that later.
I did for the briefest moment, though, wonder why my brother had missed the service.
