Whoa! :o So Dax is Emmett's son? Crazy! I love that! (I know, not really, but I like how you wrote that in)
I like the idea of this very much. A founder who always knows her previous attempts. It's sad, but I like the whole thing.

Hey, for all we know he is Emmett's son!  That little bundle of joy vanished as soon as Emmett popped him out, off into the Simsverse to never been seen or heard from again ... or was he?  (I know, I know, but it's fun, no?)

Every night since I reached the top of my career, Dax has asked me, "is it time yet?"  I think he knows I'm as anxious as he is to finish the rat race and start our family.

Sometimes we lie in bed together, fantasizing about the little boys and girls we'll make.  The noisy family breakfasts and homework sessions and secret tree-house pow wows.

So the day I pulled the final fish out of the river, the explosion of joy I felt in my chest isn't something I can properly describe.  It was, perhaps appropriately, an angel fish.

We are still building the house, so my exhibit is a temporary thing at present.  It is very frustrating not being able to stack the fish on the wall, but what are you going to do?

We could've built a room, but there was another project we wanted to finish up first.  The nursery.

And that night, when Dax asked me if it was time yet, I gleefully said yes.  Yes, it was time.

My pregnancies are all more or less the same.  Lots of queasiness and napping.  I pick out my maternity clothes as soon as I'm sure to avoid the random-ugly-pregnancy curse.

Once I got my maternity time off of work, we adopted a cat to keep me company.  His name is Apollo.  He's a genius and very neat.

I spent a large portion of my pregnancy preparing the house for the baby.  Babies, most likely.  Dax and I both got fertility treatments as part of his "experimental medication" requirement for work.  It is strange noticing your Watcher's building skills improve throughout your many lives.

Dax knew what we were expecting before me.  I do like to be surprised, but he is a sucker for knowledge.

For my part, I slept a ton, Apollo protecting my slow, pregnant frame while Dax spent countless hours at the hospital.

Until finally, it was time.  I gave birth to perfect twin boys.

We named them for constellations (and maybe zodiac signs too, but Dax doesn't know that).  They are called Leo and Scorpio.

It's too early to tell where their life states will fall [do witch babies have gold lining?].  Leo is evil and clumsy while Scorpio is a slob who loves the heat.  Neither are necessarily perfect for an heir, but they do make the day glow.

We slept basically none leading up to their birthdays.  We've decided to get pregnant again as soon as the boys know their three basic skills, but as winter has just set upon us, we likely won't age them up early.

Leo's favorite color is blue.  He gets fiendishly delighted when his brother cries.

Scorpio's is hot pink.  They both have my hair and their father's eyes.

If it weren't for the jaw lines, you'd not know them from each other.  For all the evil tendencies of the older twin, the two do seem to get along.

Scorpio's first word was "book."  Maybe he'll write like his Daddy.

Leo took much quicker to the physical skill of walking.  He loves being around Dax and throws a tantrum every time the hospital calls him in.

Dax, of course, loves the attention.  I think he's just enamored of these two little people who are a combination of us both.

My sons at this age at least listen to me.  It's hard not to compare them to Emmy and Daisy, who were both toddlers around the same time.  Scorpio definitely resembles his sister Daisy in his eagerness to please and his obliviousness to an evil family member (Jared Frio is Daisy's father.  I've recently told her this in a letter).

Leo's tantrums followed by sweet, cooing cuddles remind me of my eldest daughter, Emmy.

But I will wait until the two of them are past their childhood requirements before I tell their sisters about them.  It'd too much to backtrack like last time.

Not for the first time, though, I feel certain that this is the winning try.

Yes, witch babies do get gold lining. If there's no lining, they are both aliens. Congratulations on your possible heirs. Jared is not Evil, so I'm a bit confused there  :-\ He's unpleasant, certainly. And your kitchen looks great! I love that. It's sunny, like her personality :D

Haha, I know he's not, but he's got the makings of a subjectively bad guy, so I figured it was parallel.

A grand welcome to two little nooboos, Leo and Scorpio. And I think due to Leo being evil, he must have that fiendlish delighted moodlet(correct me, if I'm wrong) everytime his brother cries and so elated mood everytime=early happiness points. I have not tried giving a baby evil trait, but it must be fun watching them.

Half-aliens count as a life state? I may need to do one of these. The aliens are so fun to play with!

Yes, his happiness points have definitely benefitted from sharing a nursery!

Yep, alien is on the rule list but has to be acquired via a marriage mating, not a male abduction pregnancy.

----

Twin boys!  What a handful.  Of course, this early, we haven't decided which one will be heir.  I even harbor a secret paranoia that both somehow ended up human and neither are eligible.  Either way, we treat them equal in all things.

We finished up the basic skills very quickly.  Leo has taken to saying "hideout" a lot, so I told him about living on a tropical island before I started this dynasty.

They bicker like siblings do sometimes.  Leo is fond of walking halfway across the house to pretend that his brother has somehow gotten in his way.

I secretly presume Leo will be the heir just because evil Sims seem so driven, but I refuse to decide this early.  We are ensuring they are both entirely prepared for the possibility of taking the role.

Reading and playing with them is such a joy that we'd do it even if one had turned out to be a witch.

Scorpio has mastered the peg box and the painting books while Leo chose the xylophone and the writing books.  I'd like to put him on piano when he's old enough.

Sometimes I think Scorpio does stand up for himself in his own way.  Like pointing out that there's no point in switching roles for cops and robbers because Leo is a bad guy in real life.

Leo just counters that at least he won't be poor and stupid.

These are the times when we have to separate them.

One is soothed by activity and the other by calm.

We timed their aging up to happen on Saturday - the final day of winter.  This will give us time to tutor them and for the snow to melt.  It's hard saying goodbye to those little snugglebugs.

We built the boys a shared room on the bottom floor.  I'm quite proud of how it turned out.

And Bonehilda seems to like it too!

The boys aged up well enough.  I do like the sparkles.

Leo now hates art, so I suppose he won't be the family painter.

And Scorpio rolled heavy sleeper.  Neither is a decider for heir as far as I'm concerned.

In any sense, they've cleared out of the nursery just in time!  I'm expecting again.  I told them each privately.  Scorpio was sweet and immediately congratulated and hugged me, but Leo had to think on it.

He found me the next morning and asked if he'd have to share Scorpio now.  "Well, darling, he'll be the baby's brother, but you're his only twin."

He thought on that.  "And the baby will love me, right?"

"Of course, munchkin."

A wide smile spread over his little green face at that.  "Okay then!" he said. "Can I feel it move?"

I haven't let Dax predict the gender this time.  The pregnancy is much easier going than with the twins since I adapted Simmunity.

The rest of the weekend will be spent tutoring the boys.

Until the baby makes his or her appearance!

The boys are very adorable, especially together. I love how they bicker! It reminds me of my siblings.

Best of luck with making the honor roll!

Great update and happy birthday to Leo and Scorpio now child. Leo looks more evil in this child stage. And lastly the pic of Bonehilda playing was funny. She will be a great nanny in the household.

Thanks!  It was a close one.

Chetan.

My Bonehilda won't play with the kids or the animals.  I'm wondering if they did something to her with the patch.  She loves that hopscotch though.

I like that Leo is not a one-dimensional Evil Sim.

Aw, thank you!  I have a bit of a preference for him (mostly because I HATE the slob trait) but he's still neck-and-neck with his brother.

---

I'm so proud of our little family.  I think Dax is too.

I went into labor on a Sunday evening and was surprised to give birth to triplets!  Three girls, Gemini, Taurus, and Virgo.

Taurus and Virgo are witches so after a quick rest we aged them up.  We left Gemini in her infancy just on the off chance that the boys won't develop alien powers.

Taurus is friendly and easily impressed.  She likes pink and is a delight to interact with.

Virgo is a genius virtuoso.  I don't know why my possible-heirs couldn't roll random traits like those.

With Dax and I back at work and an infant in the house, the girls were self-taught in most of their skills.

It is the most fun watching toddler witches come to terms with their powers.  It is a big shock when a toy vanishes for the first time.

And a bigger relief when it comes back.

We built a room for the girls and planned to age them up to children as soon as they'd finished their three basic skills.

The boys did very well in elementary school.  Both got opportunities (Stinky bugs for Scorpio and Pile of Permission Slips for Leo).  Dax has already started to discuss respective career options with them.

They were asleep when we aged their sisters up with cake that was promptly disposed of.  I swear there's already enough cake in our refrigerator to last the remainder of this dynasty.

Taurus added pink to her hair and asked to join ballet.

Virgo remains a serious little thing and prefers to rush home directly after school to read or study.

Mercifully the sibling rivalry is minimal and the four tend to flock into one room in the evenings, though none show much interest in their baby sister.

She aged up naturally into a sweet little toddler who loves green.  True to her namesake, Gemini alters between extreme sweet cuddlyness and hell-terror tantrums.

But she is a fast learner.

The girls started school, each with a big brother to look out for her.

When Love Day rolled around, they had the day off and chose to spend it together.  It would be the last of their days all as children.  They hunted eggs and painted faces and took photos in the gloomy rain while Dax and I stayed home with Gemini.

That night was a sweet one.  It stormed outside while the kids lounged around, savoring the final hours of childhood for the boys.

Taurus likes to steal romance novels off the shelf when we're not looking and gobble them up in her bean bag.  It's harmless really.  It's not as though she understands the references to woohoo.  Besides, I know Leo is in her ear supporting the rebellion.

As always the boys aged up in the dead of night, waking up their sisters in the process.

They ate refrigerated cake from their last birthday, still in their default appearances from the growth.  They both Dax's hairstyle and no eyebrows.

Leo has definitely taken on a preppy disposition with his fashion choices.  In addition to his work at the mausoleum, he has asked to join the sports club at school and purchase a telescope for the yard.

Scorpio is less driven than his brother and is begrudging to even do the required work as a possible-heir.  Honestly, it'll be a boon just to get him through teendom with regular showers.

And it wasn't an hour after the sparkles came for them, that talk of driving lessons were brought up.  Poor Leo thinks he can pull one over on me with talks of taking the car on his own and figuring out.  Not a chance, kiddo.

Wow, the girls are so cute! I was wondering, are the kids named for their own signs or just for any sign? It seems the names are appropriate at any rate. So, any sign of alien powers from the boys?

That Leo is a sneaky one. What traits did they get on ageing up?

There's no way to tell their signs when they are born, so I've just been naming them what seems vaguely gender-appropriate.  All the traits are randomized so it's funny how well suited they are to their names.  Scorpio would be the exception except he rolled "hot-headed" for his teen birthday, so there you go.  Leo rolled "No Sense of Humor."

They really are not shining examples of what an heir should be, those two.  Both did get honor roll and then "brain power" motives on aging up, though.

The children are growing up so unbelievably fast.  I am pleased that now that Gem can walk and talk, her brothers and sisters have taken notice of her.

The girls, I think at least acutely aware that she is their triplet, will include her in playtime, even though she can't quite learn from the blocks table while so small.

In the meantime, the boys have both learned to use their brain powers that kicked in when they became teenagers.  They no longer sleep in their room.

They've both started at the cemetery as workers, but neither has earned a promotion yet.  Both have an A in school.  Scorpio met a nice girl in town but when he invited her over in the hopes of making her his romantic interest, his brother swooped in and scooped her up.

"That's like, not right, man," he muttered.

"I'm evil, dude.  What do you want?" Leo answered happily, while stroking the giggling Meredith's cheek.

It was a bitter switch for dear Scorpio, but his youngest sister aging up in the kitchen gave him an idea.

While she was swept away by her sisters for a makeover, Scorpio started the beginning stages of a birthday party for the other two girls, who would be aging up very soon.

"Some of them will be like ... older," he said sagely to me.

Leo was unconcerned.

So as it passed, a party was held and Scorpio found a very nice girl named Rashida and wasted no time getting to know her.

Both girls aged up sans cake.

And both are gorgeous.  If Taurus hadn't inherited her father's dramatically slim nose, the two would be identical.

While they cast baleful, envious glances at their brother's alien powers (particularly the mind reading, which Leo just loves to use on everyone), my girls now have magic of their own.

And spare no bashfulness in showing it.

Both are products of the summer months and love spending their free time outside.  Virgo sprung for a spray tan, which has made her a slightly more bronzed shade of green, somehow.

While Taurus attempts the skating rink.  After the latest letter I've had from my daughters in Moonlight Falls, it appears my offspring are not meant to be natural on skates.

Leo brought home a surprise from work.  He says she's obese, so not a marital option, but he's keeping his wishes for future strategy.

She shouldn't expect to be freed by this particular master.  This is him ensuring that Meredith is entirely in love with him.  He is determined to be heir.

Scorpio just says, "you know, whatever happens happens, man."

Scorpio is taking a more sincere approach to wooing his interest.

Apollo became an elder so we bought him a companion, a pretty black cat named Diana.

Gem, determined not to be outshone by her siblings, is picking up skills left and right.

She also seems acutely aware of her siblings' doings and I overheard her updating Virgo on Taurus's flirtations with an adult fairy at the pool.

Virgo rolled her eyes and encouraged Gem to try her plie once more.  "Taurus will do as she likes," Virgo says.

I think maybe that applies to all of my children.

I like Scorpio's hippie vibe. It hearkens back to Freddie. But I'm voting for Leo for heir. Unusual for me to vote Evil, but he seems so much more motivated, and the heir's got a lot ahead of him.
