Yes! Death by paradox! That sounds so awesome, I hope so. :)

But the main question is, how do they have a ghost if they never existed? What would happen then? Another paradox? :o

Definitely makes me wish they had implemented this feature way back with SimBots.  The modularity added to Ambitions would have rocked.

I'm watching a reply of the live broadcast, and here's what I've found so far:

  • Plumbots seem to have four motives. These are Battery Power, Maintenance, Social, and Fun.
  • Upgrading Plumbots are possible, so is it possible to sell them too? Or just "Disconnect" them?
  • Do not let Plumbots shake babies. Seems like a perfectly good idea to me, but I thank the Sims team for telling me.

I'm not sure if it's part of a rabbithole or greater object, but I see one thing that excites me very much:

Glass floors! Glass floors! GLASS FLOOOORS!!!!

The layout of the world looks beautiful. I'm sure somebody will convert it for normal home-world living if it's not already. It may require Lunar Lakes to have rabbitholes that match, or creating CC ones that match the buildings in the trailer, but it's surely do-able! So much stuff for my Borg world :D

Yes, someone pointed out the glass floor earlier... very exciting for us builders if it is indeed something from build mode. I pre-ordered this and Movie Stuff a day or so ago.

I told myself I wasn't going to buy this expansion, but after watching the latest broadcast I couldn't resist pre-ordering it  ::) So excited for the plumbots.
From the moment I fell down that rabbit hole I've been told what I must do and who I must be. I've been shrunk, stretched, scratched and stuffed into a teapot. I've been accused of being Alice, and of not being Alice, but this is my dream. I'll decide where it goes from here.

You can be a Plumbot dealer.

Dextra, someone asked about that in the Q&A. You can sell the Plumbots, and you can make a profit if you upgrade the one you buy and then sell it. I don't know if that's the same as becoming a Plumbot Dealer.

I can't help being curious about the dystopia aspect of the town. It could be a new setting for "zombie apocalypse" stories.

It will be interesting to see in a multi-generational game how the future changes with each visit.

I am super excited about all the new technology. Hover boards, hover cars, holographic tvs, a new futuristic instrument, I even saw a new bookcase (I paused and replayed that little 1-2 second bit in the trailor and it had a sim going to a standing machine like object. It had this slot in the middle and the sim pulled out a book, so a new bookshelf item?). Then the new build objects! Glass walls, and floors, some sort of elevator tube, new futuristic wall papers and flooring!I AM SO EXCITED

And with that information, I MUST get this just to make a Plumbot revolt.

Holo-electronics, hover-cars and, as mentioned, GLASS FLOORS! This EP is a must for modern builders like me.

I just watched the producer walkthrough and the part where you can influence the sims in the present to make a better future just reminded me of an army of Artie's kids. Rica must be laughing so hard!
