Unemployed Roommates

My sim has two roommates - they both pay together a rent of almost 9000 simeleons. Both are unemployed. How can this happen? Any idea how to force them into getting a job?

Inheritance?  8) Its sort of the same as when sims pay tips, they give money which is strangely generated out of thin air :) I know it doesn't make sense that they can pay such rent while not working. Look on the bright side, you have free babysitters :P and YOU get paid for them to be there.

Oh, they babysit? I didn't know this. Usually I don't bother with kids - they are too time consuming and I don't enjoy much playing more than two sims. Maybe some time when I create the perfect sim...

They take care of the babies like a sim which isnt controlled, free will :) Plus you can actually leave the lot while having roommates at home too :) Good for short trip.s for something
