For the record, the two kids playing dollhouse together in the background while Amber eats ambrosia is absolutely adorable.

Many, many thanks.  I'm glad people are liking it!

---------------------

This is Marcus, I guess I'm taking over now.  Mom and Nan both had a good run telling the story, but I suppose it's my turn to take over.  Joy.  This might be the only time I talk, the rest of it is a video journal, of sorts, with a few supplements along the way.

My daughter is a rather prim and clean child.  She wears gloves whenever she can, muttering something about germs to herself.  I suppose I should worry, but she'll have plenty of time to grow out of it.  Even if she doesn't, it's not like someone admiring cleanliness is a terrible thing.

Will is a child as well, and I agree with Mom, he might be a handfull while he grows up.  At least he and Lily are still friends, they paint side by side most days.

Lil' wants to be the painter of the family, and her skills will come in handy up until we're finished with this thing.  Nothing else really seems to suit her, she's been asking for a piano from time to time, and I think we'll get her one, but she loves painting a little more.

Parker finally decided to pass on at 91.  We're always sad to see yet another one go, but he had a good life.  It was certainly better than what he would have had otherwise, he said it often enough.

Xia took it upon herself to do a little research.

I guess we had a guy named Clark Peddler living here at one point.  I know I've seen his picture, and his headstone is at the cemetary in the little plot we corded off for ourselves.

Apparently he had a kid with a woman he used to live with, Penny Pincher?  I don't recognize the name, but for some reason Xia decided it was best to clone the kid now that he was an Adult.  Nan's thrilled, she loves the nooboos, plus she likes the idea of having Clark in our bloodline.

Wait.  Am I going to have a granddaughter?

He grew up fast enough, while everyone else were still doing whatever it was we all do.  It's hard to remember, sometimes.  He's a cute little kid, in his own way.

And we were all right.  Will's going to be trouble.  He dyed his hair as soon as he became a teenager, and his clothes are... questionable...

Delilah is as prim and neat as ever.  Aren't her features much more feminine than Mom and Nan's?  I think she'll be a jaw-dropper.  I need to brush up on my intimidation skills...

I wonder what the new kid will look like.

Science! It's the future of dynasties.

EDIT: Didn't notice the toddler pic at the end of the chapter. He's definitely Penny's son. The punk look suits Will, and Delilah is so cute.

Great job on the second immortal! And Delilah is really pretty! I'm looking forward to what her kid will look like.

And I'm (somewhat) shocked you don't pratice it. :P

Thank you both!  Delilah and Will have a great story together, or at least I think so.  Hope you enjoy it!

Oh, I should probably say, it's kind of cheesy, but I came up with Delilah's name, the idea to clone Tay Bayless, and everything that happens between them, while listening to the radio.  "Hey There Delilah" by Plain White T's was on, and... yeah...

---------------------

"...what's it like in New York city, I'm a thousand miles away..."

My name's Will.  I know it's not supposed to go this way, but they're letting me put in my two cents.  Ever since I was little I knew what was happening with me and Lil.  She's... definitely different, she has a really bad view of herself.  In grade school all the other kids would tease her because of her looks, her skin color, and because she's a little bigger than the rest of her family.  Not by much, not really, but enough that she's insecure about it.  I've always stood up for her, I've always been right there for her, but she's a little blind to things sometimes.  I guess I always knew I loved her, no matter what happened.  Maybe it's a good thing I had to convince her, maybe it made things that much stronger.

Anyway, had to put in my two cents.

Will:  I don't know why you listen to the others when they tease you.  You know you're gorgeous.
Delilah:  But they're telling the truth...

Will:  I don't think so.  They're just jealous of all your talent!
Delilah:  Sure, I can paint.... but I'm nothing special.  (He's... kind of cute...)

Delilah:  They're always making fun of me!  I can't do anything right, and I'm not even allowed to work out to shed these extra pounds!
Will:  Lil, you're not fat!  I don't know why you think you ARE!

Will:  You're gorgeous Lil, and even if I'm the only one who thinks you are, doesn't that mean anything to you?

Delilah:  I... I think you're just... just trying to make me feel better.
Will:  Either way, is it working?
Delilah:  Maybe I should just go paint...

Will:  Here, what about now?  I got these for you last time I ran to town.
Delilah:  Oh, they're beautiful!
Will:  Do you like them?
Delilah:  I... yeah, I do.

Delilah:  HOW COULD YOU DO THAT??  You're just going to use me like the rest of them!
Will:  Nono, that's not it at all!  Delilah, I've been in love with you since I can remember, you have to believe me!

Will:  I've always tried to protect you, stand up for you.  Why do you think I've turned out this way?  I put on a tough look so they'll leave you alone.  You'll always be safe around me, I promise.

Delilah:  *sniffles*  I'm sorry Will...  I know you've done a lot for me, you're even trying to paint...

Will:  I just wish you would see yourself the way I see you.  You're perfect the way you are, nothing will ever change that.

Will:  I love you Lil, I'll always be here for you.

The insane part is that I was just humming that song before clicking on the update! This is some weird voodoo . . .
'
I've never commented before, but it's just so awesome how you're playing around with all of these cool genetics. Between the founder, Twinbrook, and aliens, you've got quite the gene pool! Despite it all, Delilah really is uniquely lovely.

I'm surprised that Will actually turned out to be a bit of a cutie! It's so interesting to see the way each generation turns out. I wonder what's in store for Gen 5?

Glad you're liking it, I'm pretty happy with how it's turning out too!

-------------

I'm an adult.  Queue the midlife crisis.

Blake's a child.  Did I mention his name yet?

We finally have an inventor.

Who's had his fair share of fire... 'issues'...  I'm glad I'm not the only one now.

Lily and Will went to prom, of course.  Happy she's happy, that's all that matters.

And Will maxed his guitar skill.  He keeps talking about being a rock star, so it should be nice.

At 95, Pansy's still going strong, so she's brought back a few things already.  How is she still going this strong though?  I don't understand it.

Mom and Nan decided to go check out the winter festival, seeing's how they have nothing else to do anymore.  Seriously, how great will it be to be immortal?

Nan tried her hand at ice skating.

Mom figured she'd try snowboarding.

It... usually didn't end well.

Stella:   ...what?  Since I'm Immune to Cold you think I don't get a chill?  Go away!  I need coffee...

Well, at least they had fun.

Delilah:  I can't believe you wrote a song for me...
Will:  Like I said, it's all for you, baby.

Delilah:  *sigh*  I'm too classical to come up with something for Will.  Maybe he'll like some of this anyway...

None of us knew you could ice skate on a frozen pond until Mom decided to go to a party and saw some other people do it.  Now that she's officially immortal, she wants to do a bit more in the world than be chained to her laptop.  It's not that she doesn't like writing, she loves it, she just... wants to go outside sometimes.

Blake's a teenager now, and he's pretty happy he actually gets to use his own time machine.  We have a rule for teenagers here, if they pick a skill to pursue they can make a living off of, they register to be self-employed.  Blake went to City Hall and signed up to be an official Inventor, but there's always something else glinting in his eyes.  We'll have to watch that one.

I worry about Mom and Nan.  Being immortal means they have a lot of free time.  This is what they're seen doing, more often than not.  At least... at least they have fun, I suppose.

Lil painted one last picture as a teen, I think it portrayed a bit of her nerves at growing older.  I loved it, but she sold it anyway.  Maybe she'll paint another one like it soon.

They'll get makeovers, they always do.

I'm Delilah Tomas, the fourth generation of our little family.  I know some might find us odd, but I assure you, we're completely normal.  Well, as normal as we can be in Twinbrook.

I know most aging pictures are shown with just our daily wear, but I wanted to show off my formal dress I redesigned.  I have a fondness for lime green, but I needed something to tone it down next to my skin.   Interestingly enough, I'm the first one to wear makeup, as well.

Will and I share a birthday, we always have, and he went along with his different approach to fashion.  Whatever he wanted though, he's still my Will.

Delilah:  What if it says we're not a match?
Will:  Oh come on, it's just a game.  They're just random answers, I bet.
Delilah:  Well...
After the universe ends, your love will still be strong
Will:  See?  It even said something good.
Delilah:  *blush*

Delilah:  I can't believe no one else has come to the festival before us.
Will:  Well, the only couple before us who've been together long enough are your parents.
Delilah:  Poor Nan and Gran...
Will:  They're always happy though, I think they know something we don't.

Delilah:  Are you really going into music?
Will:  It's always been my dream job.
Delilah:  I'll admit, it's always suited you.

Will:  How did I get lucky enough to have you in my life?
Delilah:  You love me for who I am, and you always have.  You talked me out of using that body sculptor, even.
Will:  You're perfect, love.  I know you don't think you are, but you are to me.

Will:  Besides, it's fun to make you speechless.
Delilah:  *muffled*

Will:  I'll always be here for you, you know.
Delilah:  I know.  I still don't fully know why, but I know you will.

Will:  Well then... Delilah, love of my life, music of my soul, will you marry me?

Delilah:  Yes!  I could never say no to you!

Delilah:  Here and now?
Will:  Here and now.

Delilah:  I Delilah, take you Will...

Will:  I Will, take you, Lily of my life...

Delilah & Will:  Forever and always.

I am, quite naturally, adoring this dynasty.  Your immortals have been doing a great job keeping the genetics interesting (and colourful)!  It's amazing that Delilah appears to have a very Juan-like nose and chin, considering how itty-bitty her mom's alien nose is.  Those are some stubborn genes!

Blake's presence in the household intrigues me.  I think I know what role he'll be playing, but I'll have to wait and see if my guess is correct.

I'm glad you're enjoying it!  I'm really pleased with how they're turning out too, though I do wish Stella's features would have gone a little further than gen 3.  Juan's genes are very stubborn, I'm in Gen 6 in-game, and the facial structure is still going strong.

-----------------

Delilah:  We can't have a baby yet, Grandma's still around.
Will:  I know, but it doesn't mean we can't have fun, does it?

Delilah:  I'll just... be changing back into my real clothes now...

Will and I love the Spring Festival, and we tried to go every day it was there.

Of course we danced and danced, I wanted to stop thinking about how long Grandma Pansy and Mom were living, and it was Mom's birthday, too.

How could my Grandmother watch as her own daughter became an elder as well?  I know they had a fight, maybe that's why Grim came not long after.  Mom wanted to see a grandchild more than anything, and it was either her or Grandmother who would pass.

Living to be 110 is a feat in this family for those not of the bloodline.  I'm proud of my grandmother, but I'm happy she gave room in the house for a child to be born.

Will and I wasted no time at all.

He was happy and surprised at the same time when I told him the good news.  No one's ever fully prepared to be a parent, I think.

Oof, including me!

Hi fanofaband, I've just found this dynasty and completely fallen in love with it! All your Sims are sweethearts, and of course I love the townie genes. I'm really looking forward to seeing what faces and personalities end up in the family. Will and Delilah are especially adorable, and I can't wait to see what their child is like!  :)
