That woman looks like a very creepy doll that I want to burn. O.o Interested to see where this goes!

I think she's rather beautiful.

I ACTUALLY KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS!!!! I feel so smart. French Toast was popularized in North America by the French-Canadians, much like French fries. And because we Americans like to shove things down people's throats, it became the standard English name of the dish.

Oh my God! I know now!

Lost track of time and haven't read for awhile. It was great to read again! Will be reading regularly again!

Missed you!

Three hours later and I have read it all. I love this legacy.

Thanks so much!  ;D .

The woman advanced quickly, extending her hand for me to shake. "Hi, I'm Sarah Holden. I need a place to hi--stay for a while. I'd hate to impose, but it's kind of an emergency!"

"Oh," I said, caught off-guard, "well, I guess you could stay here, with me." I love you. Marry me?

"Oh, thank you!" she beamed, impulsively hugging me. I awkwardly hugged her back, feeling little tingles where our skin touched.

We embraced for several seconds, and were slow to draw back. Still holding hands, we gazed into each other's eyes, and I suddenly realized why it hadn't worked out with any of the men in Midnight Hollow.

I felt the sudden, irresistible urge to lean forward and kiss her, and immediately complied.

But Sarah leaned away, placing a hand on my shoulder to hold me back.

"You're very nice," she said softly, "and beautiful, but--I don't even know your name!"

"It's Usha," I replied. "Usha Moonstone."

"It's nice to meet you, Usha Moonstone," Sarah said shyly.

"It's nice to meet you, too, Sarah Holden."

Again, I wanted to kiss her--and this time I either caught her by surprise or she kissed me back.

"Wait," I realized, pulling away from the kiss. "I need to text my--my boyfriend. And break up with him."

"You have a boyfriend?" she said incredulously, releasing my hand. "I can't believe you would lead me on like this." Turning, she ran back towards the road, leaving me to watch helplessly.

"No--wait!" I called desperately, racing after her. Catching up, I caught her hand, and spun her around to face me.

"I had a boyfriend," I said, holding Sarah in my arms. "I don't any more."

That night, at sunset, I took her to the beach. We had spent the day talking, laughing, comparing stories, but she still hadn't told me where she came from. I wanted to know, of course, but if it made her uncomfortable . . . it was Sarah that mattered, not her backstory.

That's why I went down on one knee after sunset and asked her to marry me.

The sparkling of the ring matched the glowing silver of her eyes.

We were married right there on that beach.

"Usha, I'm so sorry," she said after the ceremony was complete. "When I was a young girl, I was kidnapped by an evil scientist, and his experiments turned me into a . . . monster. A werewolf."

  "I don't care!" I said. "You're perfect to me."

"But . . . I heard about an operation that can turn me back," she said softly. "I don't know if I should--"

I cut her off with a kiss. "I love you. I will always love you, whether you're human or not."

Half an hour later, I waited outside the salon. When Sarah came out, her eyes no longer glowed so brightly, but instead shone with a sweet, silver light.

The rest of the night was spent getting a little . . .

  . . . frisky.

Well, Clarisse is back in Dragon Valley, if you know what I'm saying . . .

Unfortunately, I don't have Grim's Manor . . . but there are other ways of having genetic nooboos . . .

I suddenly found myself in a taxi next to Sarah, who also appeared disoriented. "What . . . where . . ."

"Oh my--what is that?" Sarah asked curiously, stepping closer to the portal. I called out for her to stop, but before I could even catch her hand the light enveloped us both.

"Your progeny have been prepared," the taxi driver said cheerfully. "And they're cute little ones, if I do say so myself. One who looks like each of the parents, isn't that right?"

"Progeny?" Sarah asked. "Our children? But--"

"Sure thing, right up at the hospital." The taxi stopped, and the driver rolled down the window and pointed. "See, there they are now."

I stepped out of the taxi and was immediately handed a toddler. Holding her out in the air, I realized that she looked just like Sarah--white skin, dark hair, and silver eyes. It only seemed apt that she be called, Silver.

Sarah, on the other hand, received a giggling little girl with aqua skin and hair. Thus, her child was named Aqua.

And so it was that, as with so many other Moonstones before us, we were very poor and blissfully happy.

I had my singing wardrobe upgraded to something a little more . . . Usha.

I'm still struggling with my instability, but the hospital prescribed a series of brown paper bags that have been doing wonders for me! All I have to do is breathe into it upon waking up and I'm fine for the rest of the day.

It seems like I never have a spare moment: Sarah got a very demanding job at the hospital, so I do most of the cooking, cleaning, repairing constantly breaking appliances . . . it's an adventure!

Needless to say, relations with Sarah are . . . going well.

With the funds I had saved up, we were able to expand the house, adding a small--but lovely--nursery that is far nicer than the rest of the house.

Aaaand now for all of those toddler pictures I don't even bother captioning!

I had to be so cliché, but we're really just one big happy family! I love it most in the evening, when we're putting the girls to bed, and . . .

  . . . going to bed . . .

 . . . then getting up momentarily . . .

  . . . and going back to bed . . .

  We're pretty darn adorable, huh?

Omigawd, Silver. <3 Aqua's adorable too, but Silver appeals to my love of grey sims in every way.

Yay for love and happiness and bundles of adorableness! Sarah looks way better with the makeover you gave her (ie: getting rid of the horribly over-done makeup!) Both nooboos are adorable, but I think I'm gonna have to go with Silver as the pinnacle of cuteness. That super pale skin in Midnight Hollow is just gorgeous!

Hooray!  We finally get the Usha singer outfit upgrade!!  I knew you'd have something splendid in mind.  The children are gloriously adorable!  Is the baby-making-machine (which sounded better in my head than it seems now that I've typed it) part of the Into the Future stuff?
