My Vote:
Treasure - Jason
Mist - Blake

Even though I adore Grace, neither Blake nor Jason are right for her.

I voted for Jason and Treasure because somehow I think those two fit eachother perfectly XDD. I first wanted to vote for Mist and Blake but then I realized Grace would be alone and I think that's not fair considering she's still so young and can still bring forward lots of babiesss! So I went with BlakexGrace in the end xP. Husband switching!!

@ Above me: You could vote JasonxBlake?! Oh Llama I should have voted that one o_O
Please read my stories! Any feedback is welcome:

I've always been an enormous fan of Grace, too, I've always seen her as this strong character who went through so much and came out on top, even if it meant changing herself to have a shot at heir. Although I must admit that torturing her was just the tiniest bit fun. It's true that being entitled and spoiled is part of Treasure's nature: she grew up being told over and over that she was a princess who was going to become heir and have everything she wanted, and she didn't even notice Grace until Grace was trying to "take away everything she had." I do think it's unfair that Jason cheated on Treasure when they were teenagers (even though I told him to), and Treasure still sees him as being her "property."

Well, technically she was locked in a basement for two weeks with two-week old scraps of leftover food and her hair shaved off and having to work as a servant for a household  ;) .

Thanks! What I love the most about this story is watching the readers war with each other. It's very gratifying.
I'm interested in seeing who wins out, too--right now it looks like it's going to be Grace, but Treasure might just have a plan up her sleeve.

It's important to remember that Treasure used to be a perfectly normal, sweet--if a little spoiled--girl who wasn't mean to Grace, but just didn't see her because she had been trained not to. Chances are that if Mist hadn't interfered and sent her to the moon she and Grace would have had a nice, healthy relationship and she wouldn't have gone crazy. I really love the fact that Treasure is absolutely insane, but at the same time maybe her daughter will help her even out and become less . . . cuckoo.

I did vote for Grace and Jason to be together... and Blake and Mist because I would love to see Treasure alone. I just hate entitlement and those who feel they are entitled to someone/something when they didn't work for it and having them just get it because they were entitled. It really gets under my skin.
I don't imagine they would have... seeing as Jason did cheat with Grace and Grace was adamant on having him. Treasure only would have been ok if Grace left everything alone and Jason never strayed from her because she felt she was "entitled" to have him.
In all honesty the reason I voted for Jason and Grace, even though I think she could do a lot better, was because I feel Jason does love Grace honestly. My impression was that Jason loved Treasure, but mainly because he felt he owed it to her for giving him his life - not necessarily because he just loved her. I feel that's why he was able to drop Treasure so quickly and it took love potions to bring him back to Treasure (story wise, that is). Jason and Grace could have had a very incredible, loving relationship had Treasure just let it all go, but she couldn't. She had to have everything. That's why I'm still pro-Grace. :)

I voted for Treasure and Jason, and Blake and Treasure, because Treasure should have everything. She was the destined heir until her inferior older sister had to change her skin color to even be in the running. Everything was meant for her, until someone came and tried to take it. I hate a thief, robbing from the innocent like that. Treasure was a sweet and innocent little girl whose bitter, inferior older sister tried to take her things. She knew no malice until Grace showed her. Treasure had to have an intervention or she would have been robbed blind by her vengeful and bitter older sister. I voted for her and Jason to restore things to the way they should have been, Jason and Treasure, happy in their love.  I voted for Treasure and Blake to deal a blow to Grace.
We all know I'm a Treasure fan at heart, no matter how much I love Mist  ;D

Actually, I must correct you, Grace didn't show Treasure malice: Treasure learned that from Mist. I know you're a Treasure fan, it's very obvious, and if Grace doesn't win Jason, she'd be better off with another man, seeing as Jason runs around on Treasure anyways (and he always has)... so maybe she does deserve someone like that.

Treasure knew no malice, hated Evil, before she went to the Moon. Grace was the first of the two to show Malice to the other.

I am having issues choosing to put Blake with Mist or Grace. Grace deserves a man who loves her. And I think he does love grace. But Mist and him a perfect together. And she kind of loves him even though she wont admit it. And I think Blake finds her just a best friend. If I put Blake and Mist together I still hope Grace finds love. Ugg :(

And Jason and Treasure are perfect for each other so that's what I did.

EDIT: I decided on Mist and Blake
I love this forum and just want to say thank you to everyone! :) Have a great rest of your day!

This. I think Grace needs a man who loves only her, not someone who runs after her sister, her mother or both. I quite despise Jason for his spinelessness and inability to make up his mind (love potion or not). Blake is also... meh. Grace deserves someone better.

Oh, and it's the first time I'm posting in this thread. Just wanted to say - Azokka, you write amazing stories and it's so much fun to read them. :)

Even though I adore Grace, neither Blake nor Jason are right for her.

I second that notion. Im pretty sure that Grace can find an even better man/boyfriend/husband out there ::)

Honestly neither one of them deserves any of the girls at this point. They're too unfaithful and indecisive. Plus, alot of the fighting and problems that happen between the sisters at this point have to do with these 'men'. So I think they should get together, leave, and stay out of these girls lives.  At least that way they'll have each other to talk to so they won't get lonely. So Blake and Jason, LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!

Thank you very much to everyone who voted! I spent a few hours playing today, accumulated 145 screenshots, and hope to surprise, irritate, and generally confuse you.

"The final results are in," Mist announced moments later. "Jason is with Treasure, Blake is with me. Go say your goodbyes."

Jason and Grace rose first, going to stand by the wall. Jason sighed, beginning to speak. "Look, Grace, I hope you know this is neither of our faults, and we can still be friends--"

"No, Jason. This is your fault. Nothing is ever enough for you, and you just couldn't leave well enough alone and stay with me! We would be done even if I had won the poll."

"You cheated on me, too!" Jason protested. "Don't pretend this is all on me."

"But it is. I cheated on you with Blake because you were never around, because you were too busy sleeping with my sister! Don't expect us to be friends--I know what being a friend means to you."

As Grace glared at him, Jason slowly walked over to Treasure, who was beaming. "Jason, I'm so glad we're going to be together, but I don't know what I'll tell Blake!"

"Treasure, Blake has been cheating on you this entire time, too. Didn't you hear that?"

"What? I thought Mom was just saying that for the sake of symmetry!" She spun around to confront her guilty husband. "We are so over. And, for the record, I always liked Jason more than you."

"Treasure, I'm very sorry," Blake said sincerely, "but we're both at fault here. You were with Jason longer than I was with Grace, remember?"

"Yes, yes, whatever, but Jason was cheating on me before we broke up so it was only fair that he cheat with me. Get it?"

She looked upon her ex-husband with scorn, and it took everyone a moment to realize that, for the first time in years, Treasure looked halfway sane. She went into the house with Jason, brushing past Grace ("Don't think I'm not going to make your life a living hell, sister") and shooting a pointed glare at her mother.

And then, there were three. "Grace, I love you, but . . . well--"

"Yeah, yeah, I know. I love two men, and one leaves me for my sister, the other for my mother. Please, don't even bother. Things are bad enough without you making any excuses."

All were unaware that, inside the house, three brightly colored little girls played together. It was a general rule that all competitors for heir must grow up hating each other and striving to undermine the others. No one would be pleased to know that this might be the first generation to break the cycle.

I expect Azokka either to yell at everyone and totally dominate or else get out the popcorn.-Ombradellarosa

Awww!  Watching the girls play together is just too cute!  I'm actually happy how it worked out, come to think of it.  As much as I love Grace and Mist, it'll be nice to see this generation go by the way side.  I want to see how the three little ones deal with all this.

I'm not too upset with how things worked out... sure Grace is alone but that doesn't mean that's how it will stay. :)

I love how she ended it, nothing is ever good enough for Jason. He's so indecisive it makes me upset! Just "oh... I'll let someone else decide who I'm with." Please. While I did like Jason and Grace together I do need to realize that Grace is better off on her own. I hope she beats him up and pulls a Mist on him (locks him somewhere... somewhere deep with no food).

Blake on the other hand, he's an interesting character and I'm glad Mist has him.

By the time the adults had recovered enough to go inside, they found three little girls fast asleep on the ground.

One by one, fathers put their daughters to bed. Jason carried Cyllia.

Grace picked up Aliya and looked around for someone to come and kiss the little girl good night, only to see that the little girl who once had two daddies now had none.

Now Jason's only daughter was Cyllia, and Blake had severed all ties with his stepdaughter in the divorce.

At least things can only go uphill from here, Grace thought grimly as she smiled down at her daughter and whispered, "Good night." Little did she know how very wrong she was.

Everyone else in the house had already repaired their broken heart and reunited with loved ones.

"What am I to you?" Blake wondered as he and Mist lay on the bed. "Do you love me?"

"Don't flatter yourself," Mist answered, rolling her eyes. More than I've loved anyone else. "Do you think I'm going soft in my old age?"

"Would you still have chosen me, Jason? Even if she won the poll?"

Jason opened his mouth to say yes, of course, but then he looked past Treasure and saw Grace. Grace, and him, as they had been before all of this mess. He saw a door that he knew was closed forever, but couldn't help regretting--what would have happened, he wondered, if he'd remained true to her? Before she stopped loving him and began to hate him for the best reasons in the world. They would have been so happy together.

"Of course I would have chosen you," he assured Treasure, and they kissed.

"We can't kick Grace out because she's heir," Treasure continued as they cuddled on the bed in their underwear, "but we can make life miserable enough that she'll leave on her own! If the brat doesn't go with her, we'll just lock it in a basement somewhere with a fridge."

"Great!" Jason answered, genuinely enthusiastic. The less he had to see of Grace, the better. Aliya would have to go with her--she was just another reminder of the life there might have been.

That night, Grace slept alone for the first time in years, in the bedroom she and Jason had built together for the life they imagined. She tossed and turned all night, which turned out to be a mistake, considering how little sleep she got over the next few days.

It started with the potty chairs that needed to be emptied, flashing Grace back to her awful childhood. She had been locked in the basement for years, only let out for the most disgusting of tasks--much like her life now, she reflected bitterly.

Then there were the piles of dirty dishes by the sink, which no one else seemed bothered to clean up. At this point, Grace was beginning to regret the skimpy sleepwear, since she hadn't had time to change and was in a house with two ex-lovers.

"Graaaaaace!" Treasure called in a sing-song voice as she walked down the hall. "Could you feed and change the girls? The rest of us are busy--celebrating, you know."

By the time these first few tasks were done, Cyllia had thrown up on herself and needed a bath, which took another half hour.

Jason took the little girl without thanks and started playing with her while Aliya wailed in the nursery unattended, having learned only one of the necessary skills.

Mist also sat in the nursery, enjoying the company of a child for the first time in her life. Who knew having a daughter could be so much fun?

Grace showered to clean off the vomit then frantically tried to spend some time with her daughter before another natural disaster popped up. She hadn't realized before how hard being a single mother would be, and that wasn't even including the housekeeping everyone seemed to expect.

She went to take a nap before collapsing from exhaustion, only to discover that the wall going into the hallway had been removed as a joke--"I guess you won't need privacy in the bedroom any more," Treasure giggled as Mist cackled.

Instead, Grace returned to the nursery to play with Aliya, only to stop after a few minutes. She had never been so heartbroken, miserable, tired, and lonely in her life. At least, as a child, she'd never known what it was like to be happy, privileged, loved.

"Sorry, Aliya," she murmured to her daughter. "Time for mommy to go to bed."

For once, Jason and Blake were actually getting along, perhaps because they were no longer sleeping with each other's wives. They played chess together much of the time, sometimes discussing the merits of Treasure vs. Grace--men, right?

"Hey, Jason," Treasure greeted him as soon as she was done removing the wall from Grace's room and dumping out all the trash bins.

"I missed you," Jason whispered with a kiss. "Come on, I have something to show you."

Treasure had never been happier in her life.
