I've been following this story for quite some time, it's quite well written!

Though I know I'm on the wrong end of the argument here... I've always been very fond of Grace and felt she was a great story component and I will always see Grace for the pain she went through: the basement, the shunning, the two-week leftover food is all she had Grace. She was miserable and sweet and determined and has really made a woman out of herself. That is why I'm not a fan of Treasure.
It is not that I don't feel she is funny or interesting, but I really am not fond of people feeling like they are entitled to something. Grace MADE herself.
Treasure has hardly had to work a day in her life.
Grace suffered years of humiliation and hurt, shunned by her family for being the failure first child.
Treasure has only had her little heart broken a few times by some boys who didn't listen to the "Treasure is entitled" rule.
Grace had to physically CHANGE herself to be accepted.
Treasure gets to tag along and make Grace's life miserable.
Grace wins the heirship fair and square.
Treasure throws a tantrum and has a kid with Grace's husband.
Grace wins the affections of Blake.
Treasure has to use a love potion to achieve the same effect on Jason.

And now everyone is all "Poor Treasure" and I'm laughing my butt off.
She's the one who pushed for Jason to cheat.

Honestly, Treasure should have to walk a mile in Grace's shoes. She should be locked in a basement with two week old leftover scraps of someone else's meal while she has all of her hair shaved off and is forced to work as a servant to the household and THEN we'll talk about "poor Treasure."
This will be the end of my "Pro-Grace" rant.

Anyways, I praise you Azokka for getting under my skin, as it takes quite a bit to do that. :)
I'll be interested to see if Grace does end up finally getting to be happy or if Treasure will be entitled to it all.
To be totally honest, I would LOVE to see Treasure lose everything and spin out of control, but I doubt that would ever happen as she adds an aspect to the story that wouldn't be there if she were gone. Brilliant story, though I'm having a hard time not letting it get to me.  ;)

I finally caught up with the story and I love it!! I love the way you play your game, with all the sims torturing each other and themselves and constantly cheating on each other, having babies that create an impossible family tree... it reminds me of how I used to play sims a few years ago haha. I should get back to that playing style, it's just so much fun!!

I really have no idea who I'm rooting for... maybe the kid Mist is having now! All the others are just a little bit too crazy for my taste haha. Doesn't make the story less fun to read though :P. But I think they might end up killing each other, leaving no one alive at ALL if this continues... e.e

Btw short question: how old is Mist? I feel like she's been an adult forever... is she going to turn into an elder soon?
Please read my stories! Any feedback is welcome:

I love this story! I was caught up in the Elysi immortal dynasty, but I love the way they play each other. ;D  I'm for Grace all the way, but I think Treasure's child should be heir. Maybe Treasure's daughter won't be so manipulative...

Tell me,  did you read about where she went?  She's been through much worse.  Much  worse. Read the Treasure's Travails chapters In my Ultimate Power Legacy

Just went through and did read it and I:
Laughed quite a lot.
It changed nothing in how I feel about Treasure.
What... she suffered a week? Two weeks? At the hands of strangers? Pfft. She didn't deal with the rejection of her own family, nor the pain throughout all of her molding years (childhood-early teens).

I'm still 100% Grace for the win!

I do appreciate Treasure as an aspect to the story, but I'm still rooting for Grace to come up on top.
However, it's likely because I wish for it that it won't come true. I'm interested to see where this story will end, however I LOVE Treasure's daughter. Even she knows her mother isn't all the way there and doesn't deserve to run the family (she'd run it into the ground...).

Okay I know crushing Treasure the first time was necessary, but why a second time. ??? The look on her face had me in the verg of tears and I absolutely loath Tresure!  :'(
Gotta agree with Wolfie here.

Because, frankly, that's life. Y'know, life in Sims when your husband is having an affair with your sister and mother and you're having an affair with your sister's husband and somehow there are three babies in the house . . . yep. Life.

I crushed Treasure once, Mist did it again, we will put her through misery until you readers undo your selection of Grace. Eventually, you'll feel guilty of it.  ;D

Well, that's one way of thinking about it. I don't know if undoing the selection of Grace is quite possible.

This Picture will haunt my Dreams for years to come. Thank for that Azokka

I've always been an enormous fan of Grace, too, I've always seen her as this strong character who went through so much and came out on top, even if it meant changing herself to have a shot at heir. Although I must admit that torturing her was just the tiniest bit fun. It's true that being entitled and spoiled is part of Treasure's nature: she grew up being told over and over that she was a princess who was going to become heir and have everything she wanted, and she didn't even notice Grace until Grace was trying to "take away everything she had." I do think it's unfair that Jason cheated on Treasure when they were teenagers (even though I told him to), and Treasure still sees him as being her "property."

Well, technically she was locked in a basement for two weeks with two-week old scraps of leftover food and her hair shaved off and having to work as a servant for a household  ;) .

Thanks! What I love the most about this story is watching the readers war with each other. It's very gratifying.
I'm interested in seeing who wins out, too--right now it looks like it's going to be Grace, but Treasure might just have a plan up her sleeve.

It's important to remember that Treasure used to be a perfectly normal, sweet--if a little spoiled--girl who wasn't mean to Grace, but just didn't see her because she had been trained not to. Chances are that if Mist hadn't interfered and sent her to the moon she and Grace would have had a nice, healthy relationship and she wouldn't have gone crazy. I really love the fact that Treasure is absolutely insane, but at the same time maybe her daughter will help her even out and become less . . . cuckoo.

I understand where you're coming from, though I disagree

I know you've always been a huge Treasure fan  ;D .

I used to have every game like this, then I started doing dynasties and went soft  ;) . It's so great to be doing this again! Very relaxing.

I'm rooting for Mist's kid, too, for reasons that shall soon become clear.

I shortened the child stage for Treasure, Jason, and Grace, because all of the real action would happen as teenagers, then I got bored when Mist was nearing the end of the adult stage and shortened that, too. She literally gave birth on her elder birthday. And, since Immortal Dynasties spoiled elders for me forever, I shortened the elder stage, too.

I love this story! I was caught up in the Elysi immortal dynasty, but I love the way they play each other. ;D  I'm for Grace all the way, but I think Treasure's child should be heir. Maybe Treasure's daughter won't be so manipulative...

That can all wait a few years! Or days, anyway . . .

Once Blake had left, Mist became considerably calmer. It was just having a baby, and she'd done that twice before--it wasn't exactly a new or particularly interesting experience for her.

Blake returned to the bedroom where Grace was waiting for him.

Treasure wiped away her tears and went to find Jason. She had taken him off the love potion that morning: it was time for the moment of truth.

"Jason?" Treasure half-whispered. "Do you still love me?"

"Of course I do," he answered, a little puzzled. "Why wouldn't I?" Treasure felt her eyes brim over with tears again, only these were happy tears. Everything was going to be okay, because Jason loved her. And that's what mattered.

Who needed Blake, anyway? If he had bad taste in lovers, then he didn't deserve her. Even if he was the magic frog who she had kissed and brought to life, her prince . . .

But she had brought Jason to life, too. Maybe that was her problem: she kept choosing men who owed her, so once that obligation ran out they went looking for someone else. Now, at least, Jason had come back.

Inside, Mist gave birth to a beautiful girl with blue skin: Kylara Moonstone. Mist marveled at how gorgeous she was, with lovely auburn hair and--here, her heart almost stopped--Cassandra's grey eyes. She felt a strange little warm sensation looking at her, a feeling that compared only to her affection for Cassandra.

Kylara's hair had bright pink highlights--just like mine, Mist thought. Perhaps this was a child that she would love, not like she had loved Treasure (as a possession, a trophy), but as her daughter.

Moments later, her epiphany was broken by a cloud of sparkles, and when they dissipated Mist found that she was old. And she knew that she wouldn't have nearly enough time to be with her daughter. She was determined to spend what time she had left with Blake.

With this in mind, she called all of her daughters and their spouses to the table outside.

The table was filled with tension, Treasure seated beside her husband and across from her sister, Jason wondering why everyone was glancing at each other.

At last, Grace broke the silence. "Treasure, you have no right to act like this--"

"Why? Because you slept with my boyfriend, then that wasn't enough for you so you slept with my husband?"

Blake just sat quietly, refusing to advocate for or defend himself.

"Children, children," Mist sighed, taking a seat. Immediately, all heads turned towards her. "Remember that you two exist only because of me, so stop yapping at each other and listen up."

"Now, you all probably had some suspicion of this, so I ask that you don't react to what I'm about to say. Jason is Cyllia's father. He's also Aliya's father, but there was a fifty-fifty chance of that because Grace is also sleeping with Blake. Oh, and Blake is Kylara's father, because we're also having an affair. Does that cover everything?"

Jason, Treasure, and Grace all uttered exclamations of surprise, but Mist cut them off with slashing of her hand in the air. "It must be very difficult for all of you, and I know it's difficult for me, too, so I propose that we do what we always do when things are confusing. We make someone else decide who will be left alone."

Blake cut in. "But . . . Jason and I are safe, right? Because we're the only men in this equation--"

"You will be safe, but you have caused enough damage that I doubt you will have any friend besides your intended in this house."

  "Are we agreed?"

One by one, everyone at the table said yes.

That's right . . . I am so touched by your rampant emotional upheavals over this story that I'm letting you choose how it all ends out! Factors to consider:

Kylara is the only child Blake has in the house.

Jason was only recently taken off the love potion, but now he is definitely into Treasure.

In the game, Treasure actually really likes Blake, but she also really likes Jason.

Grace has been in love with Jason forever, since he was kind of the one who helped her step out of the shadows.

Wishes:

Mist - Has loads of wishes for Blake.

Treasure - About half and half.

Grace - 55% Blake, 45% Jason

Jason - Mostly Treasure, lots of Grace.

Blake - Tons of wishes for Mist, the wishes between Treasure and Grace are split evenly.

I hope this made you more confused! Voting below, choose wisely. I have paused the game at the point seen above, so from this moment on I'll be playing based on the results.

VOTING NOW CLOSED.

Hmmm... I vote for Blake to go with Mist, and for Jason to end up with Grace. Of course I may be biased after reading Percy Jackson, one of the main characters is named Jason Grace.

I voted Blake to be with Mist, and I just voted for Jason to be with Grace when I saw an option for Jason to be with Blake. And now I wish I clicked that..... Oh well.
