Treasure's crazy is up there with Azula's (ATLA) crazy and I love every bit of it. However, Grace will triumph she's come so far but her wanting to be nice to Treasure I feel will come back to bite her. Oh and Blake is handsome.

I find retreating into my well (pun entirely intentional) of crazy to be relaxing. But Treasure... She forgot her floaties when she dove in.

Shhh Azokka, you're ruining my omniscience!  ;D

Whoops!  :-X .

Oooh, I love Azula! (She's actually part of my username: Azula + Sokka, the two sides of my personality  ;) .) He is certainly a cutie!

Hahahahahahahahaha.

It came with Lucky Palms, which is a store world.

". . . and so I'm getting married to Blake and I'm so very happy and not crazy any more!" Treasure explained to her sister, who looked more than a little skeptical. Seeing Grace's disbelief, Treasure made herself smile non-psychotically. "Really, Grace, I'm totally fine. Now, why don't we all go out to celebrate?"

Grace couldn't very well tell her sister that she was crazy, so the group of four ended up at Mick's Master Karaoke. Treasure made casual conversation with the rest, but--based on how much she looked at the two men--any spectator would have assumed that Jason, not Blake, was her fiancé.

She convinced Grace and Blake to have a go at the karaoke machine first.

"Jaaaaaason," she said in a sing-song voice, cornering her ex-boyfriend. "There's this really pretty garden on the other side of the road, and you have to come see it with me. Pretty pretty please?"

Against his better judgement, Jason found himself in the community garden with Treasure. In the late afternoon light, he couldn't help but notice the way her skin glowed and her dark, sparkling eyes.

Even so, he truly wasn't planning to do anything. He was reformed, decided, content. But Treasure had different ideas.

Jason was about to pull back and make a run for it, but then . . . he didn't.

All at once, he could remember why he loved Treasure. She had been his best friend since he wasn't even a person, and they had played together every single day. He waited beside her bed for her to wake up. She was the one who had made real--otherwise, he would have just been a shadow for the rest of their lives, until she died and he dissolved into ashes. Instead, he was real--and he had betrayed her.

"I knew it!" Treasure cheered. "I knew that you still loved me."

They walked back into the club together, Jason's head spinning, to find the fiancés still using the karaoke machine.

"Hey, Treasure!" Blake greeted her with a kiss. "Where were you?"

"Jason and I were playing Robots vs. Aliens upstairs," she answered nonchalantly. "For the record, my Robots destroyed his Aliens. Aren't you proud of me?"

"That sounds like fun," Grace laughed, though inside she was a whirlwind of emotions. How many times had Jason used a similar excuse on Treasure when he and Grace had been kissing out by the pool? She relaxed as Jason smiled and swept her into his arms. Yes, everything was okay now. Everything was just as it was meant to be.

"Yes. Yes, it was very fun." Treasure looked on with a smile, a seemingly innocent and joyful smile.

The eyes are the windows to the soul.

  Everything was okay now.

The group returned to the house late at night. Blake began to make dinner while Jason and Grace continued to make out. Treasure smiled her twisted smile and went to play chess with her mother.

"They're all such idiots. Jason is easily swayed and conflicted. Grace chooses to blind herself to the truth because she's hoping for the best. Blake is simply oblivious because he was a frog this morning."

"I always knew you would make me proud, daughter," Mist purred as she moved her queen to corner the white king. "Just as my mother knew I would make her proud. You were meant to be heir, and even if Grace stole it out from under you, perhaps that is not where the true power lies this time. You are the manipulator, the puppet master, the one who pulls the strings."

"Thank you," Treasure said with a little smile. "I have lost a battle, but will win the war. It would be easier if they didn't keep showing up--"

"Hey, there's a foosball table in here!" Jason called as he and Grace raced through the hall. "I call red."

"Blue beats red any day of the week," Grace scoffed. "You're on!"

Treasure made a face at her mother across the chess table. "I'm going to go see what Blake's up to." She smiled to herself, noticing that Jason happened to glance at her as she spoke.

In one room, a puppet master and a puppet.

In the other, the trusting and the untrustworthy.

She manipulates him without even trying.

He stays up a little longer than his love, gazing dreamily into the darkness.

So I was bored and I decided to reread the story and I notice that Grace's new skin color is very similar to the skin of her cousin Matt. Was that intensional ???

But I thought he had eventually sided for grace. I mean hasn't he learned his lesson. And treasure is merely a princess. Grace has won the war and the whole point of the game, being heir. Treasure has lost even though she does not admit it. Grace is queen. Although I do agree Mist is goddess. Not matter how much I dislike her she is at the top. And she is an evil genius.

But what is to be done if Grace does not have a child before she could be psychotically eliminated by Treasure?

Nope, I just thought it suited her very well. You'd be surprised by how few colors are available on the color slider.

Hehehe. I've always loved a psychotic villain.

Haha. How invested you are in this legacy is very satisfying.

But I thought he had eventually sided for grace. I mean hasn't he learned his lesson. And treasure is merely a princess. Grace has won the war and the whole point of the game, being heir. Well, since I love a little drama, I've decided that ANY colorful nooboo is eligible for heir. So, technically, Treasure's kid could become heir . . . but believe me, there's something coming that you will never be able to predict.

But what is to be done if Grace does not have a child before she could be psychotically eliminated by Treasure?

Ohhhh . . . someone's a vengeful fan . . .

As crazy as Treasure is, I still prefer her to Jason.  He makes me want to do horrible things to him...

If it makes you feel better, the universe is about to descend into absolute chaos  ;) .

What You Missed

  The Morning of Jason's Bachelor Party . . .

"Say, Grace, why don't you and Blake go out today? After all, family should know each other, and--" she lowered her voice "--I don't want him to feel uncomfortable." continuing at a normal volume "Mom's out blackmailing the criminal leaders of Lucky Palms, so I'll stay here to make sure the house isn't split in half."

Jason found Grace before breakfast, and knew something was up when she told him the schedule for the day. However, he kept his suspicions to himself, merely telling her to go have fun and come straight home if anything, anything at all, came up.

He went through the entire house looking for Treasure, finally finding her in Mist's empty bedroom. Before he could start, Treasure embraced him happily. "I knew it!" she whispered, just as she had the day before. "I knew that we would be together forever."

"No!" Jason growled, wondering where all these rising feelings were coming from. Last night, and again this morning, he had resolved to shut this affair down immediately. Something had changed. "Look," he said in a low voice, "this was never supposed to happen, and I'm sorry, but . . . I can't keep doing this. Could you please leave with your sister and Blake?"

Believing he had fixed the "situation," he left to buy nectar. Upon returning home, he discovered a force-smiling Treasure sitting on the patio. "I asked you to leave, remember?" He took a seat next to her.

"Jason," she said gently, "I just want things to be the way they were when we were kids. Remember how we were best friends? I miss that." This is why Treasure is called the "Puppet Master." She knows how to play off of people's emotions, memories, fears, hopes, desires, dreams--you name it, she knows it inside and out and how to play it.

As Jason smiled in relief, Treasure smiled, too, thinking back to the "project" she had been working on early in the morning.

Before long, the other bachelor partiers showed up and Jason was caught up in the fun of nectar-spraying and general rowdiness.

Treasure had excused herself when the guests showed up, but as evening came on she returned, immediately drenching Jason in nectar, then they both laughed as he tried to catch most of it in his mouth.

They danced for a few hours, then Treasure produced another bottle and sprayed him again, much to both of their amusement.

Jason found that his thoughts were racing--suddenly, everything made so much sense! He owed Treasure his very life, and how easily had he betrayed her? Now, he had to even the score.

She kissed him back, exultant. It was only a matter of time, now. Everything was falling into place.

What You Didn't See Yesterday

"They're all such idiots. Jason is easily swayed and conflicted. Grace chooses to blind herself to the truth because she's hoping for the best. Blake is simply oblivious because he was a frog this morning."

"I see. Now, what is your plan?"

"It's very simple, really. I'm going to lace Jason's drink with a love potion every day. It may not bring him to me right away, but it will  get rid of his inhibitions and willpower. I have to start in small doses and build it up, so the longer it goes on, the weaker he will become, until he has no choice but to choose me over her!"
