Oh my!  The prodigal daughter returns!

I assume you aren't surprised that she became slightly more prodigal upon return.

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHH!!!!!!

I have done well for Mist, my favorite Moonstone so far.  ;D

Well, there have only been two Moonstones so far, so chances are you'd have to like one of them more than the other.

You did good, Wiry.

That's one word for it . . .

Moonstone Teenage Soap Opera
« Reply #288 on: July 30, 2013, 06:02:58 PM »
(Returning to the regularly scheduled program: The Moonstone Teenage Soap Opera.)

Jason and Grace had spent the night at Prom: dancing, sharing punch, and holding hands in the limo. With Treasure's disappearance, they were the new school power couple. But that was all about to change, as Jason climbed out of the limo to find himself face-to-face with his girlfriend.

As Jason stammered out some sort of answer, conscious of the fact that he was falling back under the spell of those dark eyes, Grace arrived at the scene.

"What do you think you're doing, Golden Girl?" Grace growled. Treasure opened her mouth to retort, only to find herself being knocked backwards by a vicious slap.

"Back off, Llama!" Treasure retorted, regaining her balance. "Or do us all a favor and go crawl back into the garbage heap you came from!"

Grace just stared at her, speechless. The Treasure she knew was sweet, naive--she didn't know how to handle this new girl, her eyes as hard as her new jewelry.

"You know what?" She finally said, very careful. Grace had to assess this new competitor before taking any big steps. "Why don't we make Jason choose, right now, and stop fighting like insane teenage girls. Jason?"

  "Jason!"

He gulped as both girls turned to face them. "Ladies, I'm very flattered, but your mom did say that it was up to the readers, not me--"

"Okay, we hate each other," Treasure interrupted, turning to Grace. "But why don't we both hate him and concentrate on trying to win heir without any distraction from boys?"

"I dislike you to the fullest extent of the word, but I completely agree."

Jason desperately waited for Mist to step in, but she had far more important things on her mind than the troubles of teenagers. Outside, she was gleefully watching the demise of her ex-husband.

Once Wogan was gone, and his grave disposed of, Mist stretched and entered her bedroom, where the urn of her mother was kept. She locked the door and closed the blinds before mourning her mother--the only person in the world who she had truly loved.

It's been awhile since I posted anything, so here it goes:

1. WOAH! TOP SECRET ALLIANCE BETWEEN TREASURE AND WHITEFANG! I'm not sure to be scared, or feel awesome. I still want Grace to be heir though. :)

2.Treasure's new look reminds me of the King Midas story, with turning the princess into gold.

3. Jason should flip a coin to see which girl he chooses. Then, whoever loses will be the winner's slave until death. (Or we can go with the heir thing, but I like this better.)

Well, I suppose "well" is the correct word, but I'm referencing something from a book.

Absolute insanity. Am I right?

It's been awhile since I posted anything, so here it goes:

1. WOAH! TOP SECRET ALLIANCE BETWEEN TREASURE AND WHITEFANG! I'm not sure to be scared, or feel awesome. I still want Grace to be heir though. :)

2.Treasure's new look reminds me of the King Midas story, with turning the princess into gold.

3. Jason should flip a coin to see which girl he chooses. Then, whoever loses will be the winner's slave until death. (Or we can go with the heir thing, but I like this better.)

1. Be scared. Be very, very scared! And I'm rooting for Grace, too.

2. That's a very interesting way of looking at it! I like it.

3. For some reason, that reminds me of the play Rosencranz and Guildenstern Are Dead, because in the first scene they're flipping a coin over and over and always getting heads.

Ooooo!  Treasure got backbone!  This should be fun!  *gets popcorn*

Oh, my readers and the popcorn . . .

Well, I suppose "well" is the correct word, but I'm referencing something from a book.
And I think our dear Author was probably referring to the fact that I did Evil  ;D
And the difference is...?

I was indeed referring to the evilness of it.

Test-Run
« Reply #296 on: July 31, 2013, 06:59:42 PM »
To keep the girls busy, Mist decided to give each of them supplies for a project. Grace was given the basement of pregnant women. She waited until Deidre and Morrigan gave birth, starved them for a few days (to instill fear), then released them. The children, on the other hand, were kept prisoner. Minion 1, on the left, and Minion 2, on the right.

Treasure, on the other hand, received all of the children who were captured during the night of homicidal terror. She decided to give her plan a test-run, and set up four rooms in preparation.

She then selected two candidates, newly teenagers: Benito Slayer.

And Carrie Henton (A.K.A. I can't remember her name). As you can see, Treasure shaved their heads, dressed them in Prom clothes--Treasure had gone a bit loony, and she had missed her own Prom while on her "trip." Their minds were then wiped clean (another procedure she had learned while away) and programmed.

Sure enough, the teenagers immediately "fell in love." Treasure was very pleased. Now all she needed was to wait a little longer until they were old enough to reproduce!

But then Grace went and found out about it! She confronted Treasure after school.

  "I can't believe what you're doing! That's sick! What's wrong with you?!"

Treasure growled, rolling her eyes. "You are so naive! This is a real plan! You just can't handle anyone having a little ambition."

"No, Treasure! I'm not going to lie: I don't like you. I have never liked you. I never will like you. But this new, "upgraded" version of you is horrible. You've gone insane, and I am shutting you down. That includes your little project."

"No!" Treasure screamed, beginning to leap forward, only to be knocked over by a slap. By the time she regained her balance and looked around, Grace was gone.

And so were all the teenagers in the basement.

  "How dare you! You little--"

"Don't you 'you little' me, you stupid golden--"

Should I jump in? No, no . . . better to just let them work this out on their own. Good for building character. Besides, here comes the Overlord!
