I think somehow sides will be switched and grace and treasure will become a team. Treasure will hand over her heirship to grace and things will be turned upsidown. And mist will.............fail. And freak out over the fact that she failed.

Of course this is all just a theory!

Watch as Azokka totally alters his/her/llama's plans to  avoid proving any of us correct. Keep theorizing, watching it squirm as it tries to avoid all the suggested theories is much too fun  ;D

LOL!  Hehehe, hm, you probably have a point, Wiry... Azokka is tricky!  Though, in all seriousness, Azokka, do you have an actual plan or is it something you play by ear based on what the game gives you?

True haha, didn't think of that. She always says that she's like us having theory's but why....hmmmm......? Haha now we are making up theory's about her, haha!

Alright we are probably off topic and should stop before we get told to.
I love this forum and just want to say thank you to everyone! :) Have a great rest of your day!

No. Not okay, Grace.

Your love of Mist warms my heart  ;) .

Quote
Yay grace! I hope the girls plot together, grace tells treasure everything, and they destroy Mist, Muhaha. Well, I just really want to see Mist's reaction, like SO bad! Keep in mind I like Mist's character. She makes a fun sim. But I totally side with grace. And I wish she could have kept her long hair. At least Mist didn't make her go bald...

Haha, you have no idea of what's coming. No one can destroy Mist, certainly not her own children! In fact, I'm in the middle of playing something very special right now. Mist can't allow Grace to keep her long hair--she needs it to be short and ugly, as a sign of dominance.

Quote
I'm trying to start a creepy cult here! Stop making characters multidimensional! Yes, they're more interesting, but it makes my self-appointed job that nobody else really cares about very difficult! I know they're cooler! And I like it when they're cool! But it's hard and I'm lazy! I'm also going to shut up now! Don't change your writing style! I swear I'll stop rambling at some point! I think! I'm genuinely sorry about this rant!

Okay, I laughed way too hard at this. And I care about the creepy cult! I'll need to see your notes at the end of the legacy, by the way, for a special thing that only I know about. Don't be sorry about the rant--do it more often! It's so incredibly amusing.

LOL!  Go Grace!  As much as I love Mist, I have to say, it'll be interesting to see how she deals with Grace's rebellion.  Or if Grace will soon be even more devious than her mother.

Come now, no one can be more devious than Mist! I can't say much without giving too much away, so suffice to say:  :) .

I'd almost say Mist is making Treasure too soft by spoiling her.  Whereas Grace has been put through adversity.
Spoiling Treasure would create a greedy and avaricious streak in her, possibly an obsession with maintaining her current standard, and constantly expanding her wealth and possessions. She will fear loss of things, and become paranoid that others are going to take them away from her, therefore she will take things from others, and destroy anything she herself cannot have. She won't be devious, she'll be worse.

Of course, this is all just a theory.

In a way, both of you are right. I'd saw Shewolf is spot on, while Wiry is about three-quarters right, as you will soon discover. However, just remember that Grace is more her mother's child than Treasure--Treasure has been brought up spoiled, and she thinks she deserves the best of everything, but at the same time she's far more innately good than Grace is.

I don't know, Wiry, I think Grace may just want things more. ;)

Precisely.
Only if she has had previous experience with the luxury, or sufficient vicarious experience (Which appears to be present here, so your theory is just as accurate as mine  ;D).

Or if she has a craving for the life that her little sister has--grrrr, I'm saying too much again!

I think somehow sides will be switched and grace and treasure will become a team. Treasure will hand over her heirship to grace and things will be turned upsidown. And mist will.............fail. And freak out over the fact that she failed.

Of course this is all just a theory!

Hehehe, Mist never fails! But thou shalt see, little Padawan. Thou shalt see. Aren't conspiracy theories fun?

Watch as Azokka totally alters his/her/llama's plans to  avoid proving any of us correct. Keep theorizing, watching it squirm as it tries to avoid all the suggested theories is much too fun  ;D

Oh, no, I played all of this a long time ago! However, I am definitely not above changing what I'm playing right now to make you all be wrong. It's too fun not to! But don't worry--right now, all of your theories are off enough that I don't have to change anything.

LOL!  Hehehe, hm, you probably have a point, Wiry... Azokka is tricky!  Though, in all seriousness, Azokka, do you have an actual plan or is it something you play by ear based on what the game gives you?

Haha, it's kind of a mixture. I usually have a loose outline in mind, then alter it here and there to go with what my sims want. It's worked for me very well so far.

True haha, didn't think of that. She always says that she's like us having theory's but why....hmmmm......? Haha now we are making up theory's about her, haha!

Alright we are probably off topic and should stop before we get told to.

I'm don't check for half a day, and you all have turned into conspiracy theorists! Love it! I love it when you guys have theories--it's quite hilarious to see you all theorizing like we're at war and you're on the opposite side.

One Tiny Flaw

For Grace, watching Treasure live it up at school was sometimes too painful. At these times, she hid at home and curled up in the bed that should have been hers, trying to get real sleep before her sister came home.

Technically, she wasn't allowed to do homework, and only went to school because her mother didn't want her roaming the house, but Grace studied by herself in the middle of the night. She was always sleeping in class anyway, and she knew good grades were  her only way out. If she did well in school, she could get a scholarship and escape Mist for once and for all.

For Treasure, life was a dream. She became the most popular girl in school on the very first day, and already had a beau, Gerard. Her mommy loved her, and she never had to do any of the icky work because the weird girl had to do it for her.

And she had Jason, her very best friend, who no one else could see. It was like something out of a princess fairy tale: Jason was her magical prince, and they would grow up and get married and ride unicorns into the sunset.

Everyone else thought Jason was just a normal doll, except for Mommy. Mommy could get Daddy to do anything, so Daddy started working very hard trying to find a potion that would make Jason a real prince so he and the princess could get married. And, one night, Daddy made the discovery.

Treasure gave the potion to Jason, and he sparkled and fizzed with violet light and bubbles, and Treasure waited confidently for him to turn into a real boy and be just like Pinocchio the prince.

Jason was very cute, and he and Treasure loved each other and agreed to get married when they were older.

Mist allowed Jason to stay, because she knew he would be a good husband to the heir, Treasure. Besides, Treasure needed to always feel loved, always be the height of someone's world. And everything was fine until that night, when Jason was playing in the living room . . .

  . . . and he looked up.

Wogan and Mist went on a "vacation" to meet a very special person, one of Cassandra's old friends. The children didn't know anything about that, of course--after a few days, Grace relaxed and let loose a little. She spent all day lounging in the hot tub, a luxury she had never been allowed before.

Jason and Treasure spent all day, every day, together. As always, Treasure didn't even notice her older sister's existence, so she didn't notice that when Jason wasn't looking at Treasure, he was looking at Grace. The boy might have been a child, but he was a very smart child, so he started hatching his own little plot.

The plan was put into effect as soon as he and Treasure celebrated their teen birthdays.

Treasure became a sweet, lovely young woman with a sunny personality and enough confidence and smarts to light up a room. She was still the most popular girl in school, and a shoo-in for valedictorian.

Jason, on the other hand . . .

The two teenagers made their way outside, where they kissed for the first time, a moment that they had foreseen since childhood.

They became boyfriend and girlfriend, pledging to love each other and only each other until the end of time. Mist had planned the wedding already, set for the teenagers' young adult birthdays, and all the plans were in place.

There was just one tiny flaw: Jason was a flirty little man, and he wasn't above moving in on the girlfriend's sister when the girlfriend slept.

I like him too, even though he is kind of evil. And . . . that would explain a lot. No need to remember when the period key is if you'll type more rants like that!

Actually, there aren't any spoilers in the family tree at the time--I'm not that far ahead!

And, One Day, She Snapped
« Reply #205 on: July 02, 2013, 02:21:00 PM »
Well, that certainly didn't take long! Jason was a little disappointed that it wasn't more difficult, but he decided the positives outweighed the negatives. The truth of the matter is, Grace was spectacularly easy to woo because she'd never been complimented before, never been flirted with--never had a conversation with someone, even. All Jason had to do was break the ice.

However, Jason did have his expectations. Sure, he liked the girl, but he needed to make her a little more not-prison-wardrobe if he wanted to stay interested.

"Where did this come from?" She asked, puzzled.

"Sweetheart, I'm an Imaginary Friend. It has its perks."

Jason was taken aback by what a little hair-growing and a cute wardrobe could do to his new love interest. Grace was almost a clone of her mother, with her grandmother's taste in clothing.

Even as they kissed, Grace couldn't forget that Jason was with Treasure, and that the world was starting to feel like an immense soap opera. She'd never had anything that Treasure did, and now that she had a small taste of her sister's life she wanted more. Grace didn't want to share Jason.

"Will you break up with her?" Grace finally asked, long past midnight.

Jason had thought this through over the past few days, and decided that breaking up with Treasure was not part of the equation. "No," he answered. "Treasure is the heir, and that makes her more important. If I break it off with her, your mom will kill me, and if she somehow forgets to kill me--you and I will be living in some dump in the city for the rest of our lives."

"Trust me--if I had a choice in this, I would choose you. But this is the best way for both of us." The truth was, Jason didn't know who he would choose. Treasure was his best friend, his confidant, and they could spend their lives together, but Grace was something else--someone exciting and new and beautiful.

Besides, she was a lot more liberal when it came to the Woohooer mod.

From that moment on, Jason was the center of Grace's world. She'd never loved anyone before, and to her love was addicting. Jason gave her flowers, flattery, and when she mentioned an interest in music--a guitar.

She couldn't stand to see him and Treasure together, so happy and carefree. Some people might have predicted that Treasure would become greedy and paranoid after so many years of getting whatever she wanted, but the golden girl was so happy-go-lucky that she was never in a bad mood.

It was Grace who watched and waited, becoming more jealous every day. For the first sixteen years of life she had nothing, and now that she owned something--someone--she didn't want to share. Not with anyone, and certainly not with Treasure.

Every night, when Treasure left to go to bed, Grace had Jason all to herself, but it just didn't stop eating away at her. Treasure had everything, just because she was the heir. It wasn't fair. Grace should have been heir! She deserved it!

At school, it was the same: Grace and Jason waited outside while Treasure was in Debate Club. They flirted and kissed, and everything felt right in the world.

Then the heir came out, and Grace was shoved to one side while the boyfriend and girlfriend were together.

  And, one day, she snapped.

"Hi, I'm Grace Moonstone. You're Melody, right?"

"I read Grandma Cassandra's books, and--you used to be ineligible for heir, then she wrote that you underwent an operation to make your skin blue. I want to know how."

I just don't think that's going to happen, Wiry. I think Mist might be an evil heir in a legacy that didn't require her to be evil. Please don't set the Drivers on me for saying that.

One Week In The Future

Mist stood back and admired her handiwork. Some had been selected at random, but most deaths would serve a purpose. To take down anyone who had ever opposed Mist--anyone who could pose the slightest possible threat was being taken down. At last, the city was hers.

Treasure knew none of this. She looked on in horror at what her mother had accomplished in the long night of revenge. This couldn't be Mist! The woman who had always been her best friend, guided her, been on her side since childhood . . . she was evil.

"What is this?!" she shouted, interrupting her mother's gloating. "You . . . you . . . you are evil! I can't believe this!"

"How dare you speak that way to me?" Mist answered, clearly not pleased. "With this attitude, you will never beat your sister and become heir! You need to understand that I am in control, I have always been in control, and you need to be on my side or you won't survive under my rule."

"I don't care! When I'm older, I'm going to join the police, and then I am going to stop you!"

"There is no police," Mist said in a calm, cold voice. "They have been dissolved."

"Then I'll start a new police force!"

Mist sighed deeply, considering her options. But she knew there was only one thing to do. "Treasure, I've known that you are heir since you were a little girl. I want you to be heir. If I have my way, you will be heir. You're an intelligent, beautiful young lady with a lot to offer as the leader of the third generation."

"Mom, you don't seem to get it--"

"I'm doing this for your own good."

"What are you talking--" Treasure was cut off as she disappeared in a prism of golden light. Mist smiled to herself, knowing that she was doing the right thing for her daughter. It was time to toughen up.
