Oh my god, her genes need to get into this legacy pronto. A beautiful, Bridgeport-descended rainbow girl is absolutely not something to pass up ever.

I go full-fangirl on your beautiful sim-kids and I'm proud of it. ;D I also don't think I've commented on this legacy, but I do my best to keep up with the madness that it is.

*Note: The author must take a moment to reflect on Kylara's outerwear, because Kylara's wardrobe is her favorite one ever. By the way, does anyone want the girls up on the Swap Shop?*

I literally have been up all night reading this. I read everything to catch up today. Man, I love Ky. She has to be my favorite of the leading ladies. I feel like she is the perfect heir. And I love her. And all the nooboos.

Expect me to stick around for a while. I literally couldn't stop reading.

WOW! You weren't kidding! Clarisse's daughter is beautiful!
Ky: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE play matchmaker! That girl is gorgeous as a CHILD. I have NEVER had a cute child in my game. EVER. PLAY MATCHMAKER!

For the record, Margaret is the daughter of Clarisse Hemlock and Mason Sackholme. Can't remember who Clarisse's dad was, but her mom was Belisama. Something to think about! And yes, she is an absolutely gorgeous child!

Oh my god, her genes need to get into this legacy pronto. A beautiful, Bridgeport-descended rainbow girl is absolutely not something to pass up ever.

Do you think I would pass up the opportunity? Of course she's being yanked right into the family!

Thanks! It's definitely my unwind game.

Wow, thanks so much! Ky has always been my favorite, too--I literally started rooting for her the moment I saw her as a toddler! Might have given her a little more screen time because of it  ;) .

That's a huge compliment! I've been that way with a hundred stories on this board, and it really means a lot to see how much you liked my story!

In the evening, Breandan took me to the bridge a few miles from the town.

It was there that we married, an affair completely different from my first wedding. I wore the same clothes, yes--the same dress and hair I wore as a bridesmaid so long ago--but nothing else was the same.

Our wedding was held on the bridge, surrounded by snow and listening to the pounding of the waterfall. The river passed beneath us, rippling quietly. In that moment, no one existed but Breandan and me.

And, in that moment, being alone with Breandan was fine with me.

"Ready to go home?" he asked after a long while. It had been hours, we knew, and the kids couldn't be on their own for long--it was Coral's birthday--but I didn't want to leave.

"Fine," I sighed, "but you're going to have to carry me."

He scooped me up in his arms without hesitation. "I can handle that."

I made it to the nursery moments before Coral's birthday, only to find a strange transformation coming over me, too . . .

At the same moment Coral blossomed into a beautiful child, I spun into my maternity wear! Which just goes to show that one should probably be married within a few days of trying.

I found Breandan right away, and we spent the next few hours celebrating. Please note the deer behind us--only in Dragon Valley, I tell you! I'm starting to enjoy all the wildlife, however. They certainly lend an atmosphere to the mystical town.

And when I say celebrate, I mean celebrate. It was a good thing I was already pregnant, or we may have made a few more babies that night! (Hint hint, hint hint!)

Meanwhile, Coral figured out her wardrobe. She's an active, energetic little girl with an eye for mischief.

This pregnancy was by far my easiest. It isn't that Quinn wasn't excited every time, but we were so poor that he had to work constantly to make up for my maternity leave. Breandan, on the other hand, is making enough money to have a less stressful work-week.

It's so wonderful to have him around. In this pregnancy, with Quinn gone, I can't help but remember all the scandals of the old house. Grace was cheating on Jason with Dad, Jason cheated on Grace with Treasure, Dad was sleeping with just about everyone, including his mother-in-law who became my mother, then Mum died and Grace and Dad married, becoming the first perfect couple in Moonstone history . . . and somehow, it all worked out in the end. Insane, right?

Just seeing how happy my new mum is can convince me that love always does find a way to make everyone happy.

She and Dad just had their second daughter, Alecia. Or third, if you count me! Breandan spent the entire visit playing with his sister-in-law.

I next visited Aliya. She and Mason moved to a nicer house, and are trying to have a baby! I've always wanted my kids to have a big extended family--it just makes everything that much happier.

Have I mentioned how thoughtful Breandan was? While I was at Aliya's, he researched the family lineage, discovered that, although our line began in Moonlight Falls, Cassandra's branch started in Lunar Lakes. That's how he decided to build the study! Isn't it lovely?

A study is exactly what we needed, too. Breandan and I can spend hours playing chess, or I write and he paints. Our income is growing, slowly but surely.

Besides, he also built a private bathroom right next door.

In other news: Coral seems to have made a new, cute friend! I only got a glimpse of him as he and the children played tag, but Breandan said he looked like his brother Kearney's son. Perhaps we'll have some more O'Shea blood in the family soon!

They also met Joshua Moonstone in school. He's Treasure and Jason's son. An adorable child, right?

And little Carolina, Mum and Dad's older child.

I still don't like Quinn's hair color, but Coral is just insanely cute.

I love Breandon and Ky.  They are so cute together ^^  Then again, I am slightly jealous.  I used Breandon as a spouse in another file XD  Lol, it's just odd seeing townies used in other stories and to feel this tiny spurt of "Hey!  He (or she) is mine!"  I know, totally irrational, but there ya go XD

ah, the more peaceful way to take over a neighbourhood...
It's also good that Ky has managed to recover and move on considering how sudden Quinn's death was.

Oh, you have no idea . . .

I still don't like Quinn's hair color, but Coral is just insanely cute.

It creeps me out a little, too, but I think it suits her.

They're adorable! And I know exactly what you mean!

Yippee! 3 kids 100,000,000 to go!(What, that to many you say, nonsense ;D) All the adorable little Nooboos are so cute I'm going to die!

Hahaha . . . you have no idea . . . absolutely no idea . . .

It's also good that Ky has managed to recover and move on considering how sudden Quinn's death was.

Well, Mist used the not-peaceful way, so I supposed it was time for a new method.
I was worried people would think she was inconsiderate, but I also think it was the best thing for her.
Random: Isn't it weird that I knew from the moment Ky was born that she would be heir? She was just such an adorable little toddler! Knew she would win  ;D .

Snow Days
« Reply #674 on: September 21, 2013, 02:42:16 PM »
Peder and Coral are celebrating their third Snow Day in a row, for which I envy them. Not because I want time off--in fact, with all the pregnancies, I can't wait to get back to work--but because my childhood wasn't nearly so idyllic. No, it was filled with power struggles and underground scandals and scores to be settled.

At least now, I reminded myself, we're all happy. Especially me.

The children invite over their friend, Margaret, every day. I think Coral is doing her best to set Margaret and Peder up--she's a tough little girl, but she knows that her brother has had a crush on the pretty Hemlock girl from Day One.

Can you imagine how adorable they'd be together?

Of course, I went into labor one snowy evening just after Margaret's mother picked her up. I'd meant to talk to Clarisse about all the investigating I've been doing into our Hemlock family ties, but she was saved by the bell.

It just so happened that Peder aged up at the exact same time! He looks so much like Quinn, but instead of being painful it's no more than a reminder of another time.

Oh, and here's Carolina, a teenager already! She's the perfect mix of her parents, with plenty of Moonstone showing through but enough of Dad to temper it a little.

And I may or may not have gone around aging everyone down to young adult. What? Grace was only two days from elder! That can't happen! Don't tell me you haven't missed this.

After several hours of labor, I gave birth to Alhana . . .

  . . . Palin . . .

  . . . and Usha.

Yes. Triplets. Three babies at once!  (1000 Moonstone points to anyone who can figure out where their names came from!)

Naturally, Breandan couldn't be happier. That's just one more thing to love about him: He really likes babies.

Even with all of this craziness, Breandan and I had been saving up for a very long time for Snowflake Day, and had everything in place before the kids got out of bed! First was the new TV room, with that video game system Peder always wanted.

Coral received her very own Magic Broom ring in the backyard.

To Peder, we gave his very own room! This all may seem a little exorbitant, but we've been so poor for so long that the children have never really had anything nice. This is no less than they deserve.

Margaret also celebrated her birthday, hint hint, hint hint . . .
