Thanks so much to everyone who commented! And welcome to the party, CaikCat . I've just started high school, and it's an extremely fast-paced high school (we complete two years in one) so there will be much less time for updating and playing! Just a heads-up. We have quite a bit of toddler cuteness flying around these days, infecting our minds and bodies and . . . such. So far, Quinn and I have decided to wait a little while before trying again--Watcher knows we have too much on our plates already!
The children play so nicely together that it's difficult to not convince ourselves to just go ahead and have a third. No, no, we
have to think about all sides--financial future and all that rubbish.
We two are turning into a regular old married couple! Quinn is always tinkering around with the dishwasher, with drives me insane with worry, but what can you do to a man who loves playing with things he doesn't know how to put back together?
It's much easier to relax when he's reading the morning paper. He is a journalist, after all, so he's subscribed to every newspaper in the city.
I do a lot more writing, since maternity leave hasn't ended yet and the kids are old enough to look after themselves for a little while. Oh, and we need the money! Ugh, I hate thinking about money, and it would be quite easy to avoid (considering that we don't have any), except for the fact that children are--sorry, kids--a money pit.
Quinn can always get me away from the computer.
I go drop by the family every once in a while, of course. Joshua and Carolina are doing very well. Mum and Dad moved into their own house with Carolina, Aliya moved in with her boyfriend Mason, and Treasure, Jason, Joshua and Cyllia are still in the old house.
I met up with Jason there, too--for the first since my birthday, actually. Hehehe . . . I just thought of the absolute squickiest thing! Take this photo and use your imagination. Don't worry, I never
would, but just imagine who squicky it would be!
Oh, well, I'll have to distract you with a little more toddler cuteness.
Very slowly, we're starting to build our very own room. So far, there's nothing more than a wall, and not even a complete wall, but it's a start.
And, of course, there are the priorities. The first thing we had to do was build a new bathroom, since before long we'll have four people running around who need to fill their hygiene and bladder needs. We made this one a little nicer than the other.
