Omni Plants--was glitch fixed?

I was thinking that the glitch that concerned the omini plants was fixed, but a couple of my sim families have received an omini plant as a gift and I can't get rid of it.

Anyone else having this problem? 

I'm upto date on patches, so that can't be the problem and I don't have the UL expansion pack, just SN and SEA and have the store worlds of AS, MV and RV. Both families are in RV.

The gardening problem seems to be fixed, I have moved some sims to other towns and they were able to harvest the gardens without any problem.

I stopped opening the mailboxes except to pay the bills. I will never get another omni plant ever.

Janna, I just had the same problem in my dynasty file.  I had to replace the mailbox in buydebug and now things seem to be working fine.  It seems that the omni plants and bills are gifts and love letters from people in the town who are no longer there.

What has me puzzled is that it seemed as if the problem was fixed, that I wasn't finding the omini plants and bills in the mail anymore.

Now, all of a sudden I am getting them again.  Frustrating.  Will change the mailbox and see if that helps.  My sims collect gems and metals so I need to check the mailbox, plus get the copies of the books that my authors write.
