Some new changes to the rules you guys should know about:

Architecture career is off limits.

All sleeping/napping must be done on your home lot.



If you've already started your file and have broken either of these - feel free to start over with a free pass.

If I haven't specifically banned it then it's allowed.





As a clarification for people - the outdoor living only means No enclosed rooms and no roofs. The Hates the Outdoor moodlet should always be present on the home lot.

If there is something that removes the Hates the Outdoors moodlet while you are at home then you cannot use it/do it.

Becoming a toad is not something you can control but without the use of elixirs there is only one way to fix.

After two burglaries, two alien abductions, a meteor strike and some annoying bugs we're finally done. Two people only (they could barely look after themselves at first let alone a pet)

I'm just checking.... but it seems like there is less skills possible to max. Aren't nectar making and martial arts impossible since you can not travel to get the items? McKenzie is  not here yet....so Grandma is still playing.
Reminds me of when my son was little and we went into GameStop. The cashier commented to him on how it must be nice to have a son so into games. He said no because he couldn't get to use his PS all the time... This was when Sims was mostly on PS 2. LOL

 ;) Oh yes sorry I should have mentioned that I loved playing this challenge, was just too excited to add my score. It really was tough at times and I made lots of mistakes but it was especially rewarding as there's not trickery involved.

I've never had a Sim learn Charisma naturally but if your second Sim gets a point in one of the other skills then it's game over.   Remember you only get one chance to do this challenge.   Once you start your scoring file, that's it.  At that point you accept whatever happens happens.

As for Metro's Challenge - it's the shorter version that allows cheating call Metro's Haven.  It's the Yin to this challenge.

Well,  unfortunately I am out.  While I was not looking the other Sim gained a painting skill and that was a skill the other Sim was working on.  NUTS!!  But I sure did have fun working this challenge.  I usually play with Mods so this way made it more interesting and quite different.  I'll be playing another Challenge again!  Thank you.

brappl - you're allowed to submit a score of what was accomplished up until the point that you failed.


Edit:  Everything about Island Paradise has been reviewed and covered in the General Rules or will be very soon.  Otherwise it's covered by my rules.

The only change is to not allow the eating of coffee beans.    And I really want to emphasize something.   

The "Plagued by Nature" moodlet that comes from hating the outdoors must always be present on the home lot where you have to do all your sleeping and napping.   If you do something that removes that moodlet then you're going against the rules of the challenge. 

If the coffee beans effects you in some way, contact me and we'll talk about it.
