circular stairs in houses swap shop

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask.  If not please move it.

I  have seen a lot of really nice homes on the swap shop, and in the showboat thread that have the circular stairs.  I don't have the expansion pack that has circular stairs, so what happens if I download a house that has one?  Is it replaced by one that is from another expansion pack that I have, from the base game, or is there a gap left that I then need to reshape to be able to add stairs, or find another place for the stairs?

I know in some of the houses that I downloaded that had cabinets or other furniture that it was just left blank and I was able to fill it in with what I have, which is no problem. 

But the stairs is another matter, I have seen some houses that I really like but not sure if I can use them after I download them.

But to respond to your question, Janna, I have a similar issue with houses with elevators.  I don't have Late Night installed, and if I download a house with an elevator, the game doesn't replace it with anything.  I then have to place the stairs myself, and sometimes it's tricky.  I can't be certain, but I suspect it would be the same in your game with the circular stairs.

Janna - you have Aurora Skies.  Aurora Skies came with circular stairs so it might not cause you any problems whatsoever.

sorry to be so long in responding, I hadn't realized that I had a circular stair in my build mode.  Glad to know I do, that helps a lot in the houses I can download, as there have been several that I like but felt I couldn't.
