Unable to go to work

So this happened to me before, and I ended up doing an uninstall/reinstall and thought it cleared up the issue. Anyways, My sims either one or both of them are unable to go to work. When I click the little "Go to Work" button in the career tab or when the carpool arrives. It seems to happen after they are given any amount of personal time off (Having a baby, holiday, marriage..etc.) But then they never get a chance to return and it deteriorates they job performance. I've tried quitting their jobs and then re applying but that doesn't seem to work. Anyone experience this and found a fix?

Update: I installed Overwatch and Errortrap and I'm assuming one of them fixed the issue I was having!

For anybody else with that problem, usually it's the Sim not changing into their Career clothes, so they can't leave.
Use the Change Outfit function to change them into work clothes and send them to work (button on the Career tab)

That's always worked but going to the main menu, saving the game as you go, and coming back fixes the Cell Phone, maybe that will fix that, too.
