Which Minor animals can I eventually Befriend?

-As in they show up under my sim's 'relationships' tab.

I know that you can eventually befriend large birds, but I couldn't find anywhere if I could eventually befriend my sim's snake.
Is it possible to befriend all minor pets or is it just the large birds that sims can see in their relationships tab?

(Sorry if this has been previously asked/answered somewhere- in my googling all I could find were information on large birds :-P)

It's just the large birds. Sadly, none of the others can be befriended.
