Chapter Four – The Worst Birthday

We got a new house!



That small empty room over there will be the nursery, but since Gracie isn’t pregnant (yet) I don’t really know how to design it. It would be confusing if we had a girl in a blue room.



I celebrated my birthday practically the second we got in. Ugh. I don’t want to be an adult! I like being young.



Unfortunately, a fire started from the candles (must’ve put too much canola oil in the cake, darnit). I then grabbed the fire extinguisher and put it out. It was possibly the most terrifying experience of my life.



Once the fire was gone, I bought another cake and table, then I had to do it again. Overall, it was a terrible birthday. Not just from the fire, but from these WRINKLES! I’m only 42! Grr.



Well, at the end I suppose it wasn’t too bad, because I enjoyed my first woohoo. Officially it was a Try for Baby, since my fertility is melting away faster than ice-cream in the Sahara.



Oh, I almost forgot! Roxy aged up. She's still adorable, isn't she?

Chapter Five – Nooboos!

Remember last update I mentioned how Gracie was sick? Well, now she’s really sick, she’s even throwing up sometimes. Hey, don’t look at me! All the food I make is normally edible, so it’s not food poisoning. I think.



Aah. Well that explains the nausea. She’s pregnant! Yay, I’m gonna be a dad!



I started a garden this morning. I had to put a fence around it so Roxy or some zombie wouldn’t ruin the plants. So far I’ve got a few tomatoes, lettuce, mushrooms and a few other sprouts.



After a few more days of mooching around, we went for a picnic near the mountain. It was quite tranquil…until Gracie went into labour! I have never seen a baby being born so I was freaking out. Sorry Gracie.


 
Unfortunately, Gracie had to walk up the whole mountain to the actual hospital! She really is as tough as nails. Thank God the baby didn’t pop out on the way.



When we finally reached the hospital Gracie gave birth to twin boys. Twins! We called them Robert, after the man in Downton Abbey, and Dominic, after that Italian guy in the Bachelorette. Robert was born first so he is the heir. They are both so cute!



We renovated that empty room into a nursery. Irish Green for Robert and Sea Foam for Dom. I think it actually looks pretty good, considering I’ve never painted anything before.



Then it was time for Gracie’s birthday! She didn’t get as many wrinkles as me, only a few extra laugh lines and slight crow’s feet when she smiles. I think it’s cute. It makes her even more… appealing.

They will! I'm about 10 chapters ahead of this now, but when they were toddlers they were so cute.

Chapter Five – Getting Older

Time really flew by with the babies, and the next thing I knew it was the boy’s birthday’s.

Robert went first.



Here he is after a makeover. He has blonde hair like Gracie, which is great. I think he has my skin tone, eyes and eye colour. He might Gracie's nose too.





Then it was Dominic’s turn.



Hooray! He has my hair. He looks identical to Robert but with different hair colour, skin tone and nose.





And now it is time for some…toddler cuteness!











I bet you’re drooling now. Sorry, I just had to show you those photos! No matter what the boys do, whether it's walking or playing with a toy, it's ADORABLE!!

And here’s our new house! It’s a little more compact then our old house, but it’s smarter. Plus, it came with a new Mazda SUV.
