CHAPTER ONE – The Beginning

Oh, hello there. My name’s Percy, Percy Degan. I live in Appaloosa Plains and I’m the founder of the Degan Immortal Dynasty.

To begin, I bought the biggest lot I could find. Why? Well, when I get more money I can build something huge! But you know, it’s…comforting to own such a large estate. My new home was on Pomona Parade, which is a quiet little road with only a few houses, but it’s close to town. It’s the perfect place to start a dynasty.

I was only left with §500 after I bought a refrigerator, bed, shower and easel. OK, maybe not so perfect! I didn’t even have a toilet.



Anyway, that easel attracted me (I’ve always been pretty artistic), so I set up a canvas and started painting. A few hours later, I had somehow drawn a picture of a lake.



Well, I seemed to have an aptitude for painting so I became self-employed.

But apparently my painting wasn’t ‘good enough’ to earn a substantial amount when I sold it at the gallery. Darnit. I only got 33 simoleons!



After another day of painting, I decided I should have a night off. I’ve been working so hard! After I drunk a Potent Invigorating Elixir I visited a bar called ‘Varg’s Tavern’. It was pretty dingy, but at least it was free.



I met this cute chick…I - I mean woman. Her name was Gracie. We got on very well.



Then I took her to the Elixir Store and threw a Friendship Potion at her. We became good friends. But…something about her makes me think. She’s a special one, that’s certain.

Chapter Two – Love is in the Air

My painting is sky-rocketing!  I’m up to Level 5 and some of my pictures are worth hundreds of simoleons. This is my latest painting. I called it ‘The Lighthouse’. I know, it’s a predictable name but I got a pretty penny from selling it…



Speaking of pretty, I visited Gracie at her new house. I was originally just going for some cake and coffee but then she looked at me like this.



We flirted for hours, and we had our first kiss. It was very romantic, spoiled only by the fact that I really needed the potty.



After I went to the loo I walked up her, and proposed! I know we only had our first kiss a few hours ago, but I feel such a strong connection.  I was so nervous I thought I might die.



Luckily, she said yes so I tearfully slipped the ring on her finger.



We then got married there and then. We didn’t worry about clothes or people throwing rice, we just wanted each other.



Here’s Gracie’s funky new makeover! She got a new hairstyle, new makeup and new clothes. She was thrilled.



With the small amount of money that Gracie brought, we built this tiny house. It’s barely a house at all; it contains no furniture, except for our sleeping bags and a fridge! When I sell a few more paintings we’ll actually furnish it.



Gracie immediately started sculpting, and one of her first ones was a wooden, full-sized bust of Ricky Martin. Or at least that’s what she told me. Ugh…

Chapter Three – A Series of (Fortunate) Events

I got my first opportunity today. It was called ‘The Study of Art’ or something. I was pretty excited because I hadn’t received any until now.



Oh, we finally got enough money to furnish our house! It looks a lot more like a home now but hopefully we can build a bigger one soon.



That night we got our first few zombies. They were pathetic actually. I don’t know why they were wearing swimwear. They certainly weren’t very scary.



Me and Gracie are skilling constantly and we don't get much of a chance to actually talk. It's awfully depressing. So to cheer us up a bit I adopted this adorable puppy! We named her Roxy.



She is a spirited little thing a loves a cuddle. Here’s a cute picture of us playing tug-o-war. We play many other games but I think this is her favourite!



Did I mention I’ve mastered painting? I’ve now had a lot of time to work on my cooking and gardening by reading books at the library.  I only have about 7 days until I become an adult so Gracie needs to paint my portrait ASAP.



Whilst she’s not painting or sculpting, Gracie just loves to take care of the bees! I don’t go near them because they’re scary…er…I mean that I’m allergic to them. They actually provide us with quite a bit of money from selling their beeswax and honey, which is fantastic.


 
OK, I’ll wrap this up in a minute. I just have to show you my beautiful new car! It’s an Alfa Romeo MiTo. Luckily it was on sale for only $14,000!
