I also see people asking me when I don't know who they are. Because it's for sims: I now often just accept them. They stay in the list and that's actually it.
Maybe they can help me one day with some sims issues, or I help them more likely.

I'm not sure if you remember my complaint about Showtime when it was first revealed. I was against the social part of it because I feel sims are a one person game. I got over it and got it, but unlike my facebook where 98% of my friends list is for games, on the sims site, I only add people from here because I trust everyone on this site. So if it is someone I don't know and not from here, I decline.

As for my Sims 3 name, it's an archaic term I never use anymore. It was from a time when I was not Dr. Evulz, but... Platypus100

Why Platypus? Well, you see, before I went crazy and became total Evulzness, I was a humble fellow named Dr. Platypus. I was actually Dr. John Platypus C (Latin 100). Hence Platypus100.

I made all that up. I just had a strange obsession with platypi. Then I met the Sims and got a new obsession.

I've had quite a bit of fans, and I never really became picky about adding people. I mean, if I wanted to keep it close to real life people I know, that's what Facebook is for. It's not like we're allowed to share our personal info on there anyways. The closest thing to people I don't know off my friends list, yeah I had quite a bit, but they're all connected to people I do know in the real world.

So I'll add anyone. I got fan increase, when KPST came out, and I got it. So I'll be happy to take anyone no matter where they come from.

Something I do have to ask, and I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but I realize some of us will only take friend requests from people on this forum. Is this just out of personal preference, or is there another reason behind it?

I, personally, don't see much of a point of befriending people that aren't from this forum, since in all likeliehood, I don't know them. (as much as you can know someone over the Interent, in any case) People here, I am familiar with.
