Share Your Sims 3 Site User Name

It has been awhile since I have been by. I think before my birthday. Anyway I have been getting all these alerts on my phone from my email account saying I have all these friend requests. At first I was like oh cool someone from here. Then I started getting more and more. Today was the last draw. I got 12 friend requests today. I had to set a filter to send them all to a folder.

I know I can always count on my Sim forum family to have the answers! I feel so loved here.

First, what is a Simport? Can someone direct me to the right place as this is off topic?

Second, my fellow Simmers are here on the forum or strangers I already friended from FaceBook for SimSocial. How do I know if I'm deleting my fellow simmers?

Ok this is what I'll do. My profile name is PlatnumDymnd. I'm going to delete everyone in my request list now. Why don't you sent me a message here so I'll know who you are on the Sims 3 Community. How does that sound?

What I do when I get a friend request, I look at their profile to see how long they have been on sims3 site and see who their friends are.  If there are names on their friends list that are friends on here, then I usually accept.  If there are no familiar names or they have nobody that looks familiar, I usually decline.

Simport is the new function that came with Showtime.

Oh my goodness I just got five more friend requests in like fifteen minute. This has to stop. Ok is this Simport required to play game? I bought it but haven't had the pleasure of playing yet.

No, Simport is something that you only use to have your entertainers (singer, magician, acrobat) from Showtime perform in someone else's world or one of theirs perform in yours. If you want, you can play without it. It does seem to be a nice addition to the game though. I'll find out in a few weeks, when I get Showtime.

Many people from here have done that actually.
Have you already checked out the first post of this topic? There is a list of many simmers here with their user name of the official Sims 3 site. If they are from here, you can look up their user names.
If you worry to loose real friends, you could also add everyone as a friend and then send them a message to ask if you know them. 'Cause maybe not everyone will request being your friend again. If you don't know them, you can always delete them again if you want.

That's what I did too Moon. I guess I am going to have to sit and go through them all. I'll also need to take Odie's advice and go BACK to begin of thread. I hate doing that. This thread is too long now. I think this will be something I need to do when I get to the simport thing. I don't even have my families imported.

Salty that's what I was doing at first and found that most just joined yesterday and had no friends. So I was declining then as well.  Sim minds think alike.

I see a few questions about Starimost1997 and didn't see anyone claim it? I've got a request from them, and I even double checked the list on the first page and nothing. If no one comes forward or lets me know, I'm not accepting it as I only accept people from here.

Sims 3 Site Name: TheStarPhoenix

It turns out 'The Starlight Phoenix' is too long, so when I shortened it to 'StarlightPhoenix', it turns out it's already taken, so I turned to 'TheStarPhoenix', which apparently wasn't taken... 'til now . Also, in case you check my page out and you're wondering, the base game and the expansions are all registered under different accounts that I've forgotten passwords and old emails to, so yes, I do in fact have the games.

Guess you've got fans.
I also see people asking me when I don't know who they are. Because it's for sims: I now often just accept them. They stay in the list and that's actually it.
Maybe they can help me one day with some sims issues, or I help them more likely.
