My user name is Freygundr. Feel free to add me if you want  ;D I just installed Showtime and I have no friends to use Simport! LOL.

Yeah! That's pretty much why I don't have any friends there: I never, ever used that profile for anything else than registering new games and redeeming Simpoints. That forum is really annoying.

I'm el_fogoletto on the main Sims 3 site... I currently don't have any friends on there, because I only register games and buy some store stuff occasionally... BUT that is changing,  now that we have Showtime, and my beloved Sims keep throwing SimPort wishes at me like so: "Pleeeeeeeease can we go on tour? I'll be really good and do laundry without you making me, pleeeeease please please?"

Does anyone know if, when SimPorting, stage set-ups and second career costumes (if that is what the Sim performs in at home) are used on tour as well, or does it default?

DeLouche, it defaults. Your host can use a custom set-up, but it might not be the same as yours. And even if the host could provide the 2nd career outfit, your sim will still appear in the default.

Edit:  I forgot to say, if you're looking for forum members to add as friends, there's a list of names on the first page of this thread.

Nobody that has listed their name here..
I think with Showtime we are going to see an increase in friend requests from strangers as people suddenly realize they need friends for Simport. I've had a few in the last couple of days from names I've never seen before. Unless they are a member here too, I just decline, I've got enough friends here without adding strangers.

Can I also suggest puting your Carl Forum name in your profile there too. It's much easier to find out who you are then.

Oops! Thanks Twinmum! I looked at the list from the first post but I didn't see that. I guess that's proof enough that I should go to bed already! It's 3 am and I only slept 4 hours last night.

I'm JohnKellyFan in there too ;-). I only use it for registering games, and lurk in the Store, haven't bought anything yet. I hope it'll change soon :-)
