I'm one of the horrible lurker types who even will often turn off the internet on the computer actually running the game in order to speed things up (I hated that Disc Authorization bug, and that seemed to be the cure til the EP came out!). I'm playing with the new social features (mainly badges, not spamming every memory) and would love to try out SimPort as well.

Please toss me on the list of willing victims friends! I'd love to see your sims perform in my game :)

I've not explored the new social features yet as I've not played for a while and haven't got Showtime yet as my game has slowed down so much at the moment that it's become quite painful to play, but i am awaiting the arrival of a new super duper laptop which i should get in the next couple of weeks   :)

They do sound intriguing though so i will check them out now and add a few friends.

Good Lord, I just spent a half an hour on the EA forums trying to research some of the things about Showtime that confuse me.  People over there are just brutal to each other!  I just want to say how much I appreciate the kindness and respect everyone shows each other in our community.

Yeah tell me about it! When Pets first came out, my pets were really distorted so I asked over there in a thread about it and was told my computer was crappy. It was my graphics card, not my computer.  ::) Thankfully though, I got that fixed this month and now my pets and game is so much better! I love Carl and Pam's forums!  ;D So nice and respectful.
