Noooo! Aeric, the walls are just dry wall! Knock it down with your caveman foot! And for Watcher's sake, fix your hair! You might be locked in a box somewhere but that's no excuse for poor haircare.

SMH. Sim Hygeine Queen, hahaha.

She orchestrated it.. I think. So the Watcher may not be willing to help, ever.

Which makes the whole thing unreasonable! Aeric is not the heir! This is madness! They should be trying to capture and dispose of Leechy 8) Thank the Watcher for small favors! At least this doesn't mess with Breagadoir's competition stats.

The Elven Town Jump-The Best Laid Plans...
« Reply #813 on: September 25, 2013, 08:22:41 AM »

"...and some idiot decided to abduct Bregadoir's son...No, not my husband, the one he actually likes...I know, right?...Signed his own death certificate, right?"
Sotal was not feeling comfortable listening to his wife's phone conversation, so he walked away.

"You know, Father," Sotal began as he casually cleared dishes from the table, "if you're upset about Aeric, maybe you could console yourself by spending some time with Leithleach."

"I don't need consoling," said his father, "I need revenge."
Things were not turning out quite as Sotal had hoped.

With neither his father nor his grandfather paying any attention to him, Leithleach simply put more of his time and energy into his music.
Not far from him, but ignoring him altogether, Harlequin was having a conversation of her own.

"Surtr, seek out Aeric and cast a torrent of fireballs at those who have taken him," she instructed the dragon.
"Yea, mistressss," hisses the dragon as he took flight.

With his best effort to steer his father towards the new heir going to waste, Sotal sat down at the table with his wife hoping to find some comfort from being in her presence.
"Something bothering you darling?" asked the Countess, "You look like a man who's just been handed a death sentence."
"Oh," Sotal responded, "I'm just concerned about the whole Aeric thing, I guess."
So much for comfort.

Sotal is so stupid. Why did he ever think this would work? Doesn't he know his own father at all?

Harlequin has her all seeing eye but  is that good enough?  Randomly shooting fire is a bit of a problem,  collateral damage and all that  ;D

Awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome! (Yeah, may of may not be a complete sentence. But it's better then repeating "Sotal's gonna DIE! Sotal's gonna DIE!" over and over. ;D)

Haha, I'm warming up to poor abandoned LL. I am not warming up to Sotal. He's never been the brightest star in the sky, but this was really rather thoughtless. "I know! he'll be sad!" Incorrect, Sottie. He'll be P.O.ed. And active. And way less concerned with anything but finding his son and who took him. Dang, I knew Damien should have been heir. (I know he couldn't.)

I won't comment on Sotal as he is already dead and there is little use commenting on a dead elf.

Harlequin, tsk tsk. You've become passive girly. Why send a dragon to do a beast's work? Go find him yourself and when you do, you've got your own fireballs inherited from your grandma Blaze.

Leithleach, there is only one way to get Breagadoir's attention and that is to become what he is. Standing there strumming your guitar and singing the blues is going to guarantee that Aeric remains the favorite. Throw your hat into the ring, man! Go out there and show some initiative!

Pippin, great update!

Agreed, Harlequin is not an enemy anyone would want to make.

Sotal is so stupid. Why did he ever think this would work? Doesn't he know his own father at all?
Sotal=pride.  He's blinded by his/his child's own importance.

Harlequin has her all seeing eye but  is that good enough?  Randomly shooting fire is a bit of a problem,  collateral damage and all that  ;D
No, I think Harlequin would be fine with collateral damage.

Awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome! (Yeah, may of may not be a complete sentence. But it's better then repeating "Sotal's gonna DIE! Sotal's gonna DIE!" over and over. ;D)
How very considerate of you  :=)   Glad you're enjoying it!

Haha, I'm warming up to poor abandoned LL. I am not warming up to Sotal. He's never been the brightest star in the sky, but this was really rather thoughtless. "I know! he'll be sad!" Leithleach is a rather pleasant abandoned child, really.  Sotal has no chance of understanding others as he is too focused on himself.

I won't comment on Sotal as he is already dead and there is little use commenting on a dead elf.

Well, Surtr's just going to locate and singe.  Harlequin still gets to kill said miscreant  ;=)
Leithleach rather enjoys strumming his guitar.

I'll aid you then.
Sotal's gonna DIE! Sotal's gonna DIE! Sotal's gonna DIE!...
But really, he is.

How very helpful of you  ;=)

As our Queen of the Evil Watcher's Club said, "I won't comment on Sotal as he is already dead and there is little use commenting on a dead elf."
Yeah, now my only question is how quick his death will be...
Depends on who catches him first, I suppose.

The Elven Town Jump-The Six Degrees of Seperation
« Reply #823 on: September 27, 2013, 07:35:27 AM »

"Hello," said Breagadoir, answering the unrecognized number.
"I have some interesting news for you," came the voice of the man on the moon (though, technically, he was currently hunting treasure in Isla Paradiso).  "I know where your son is and how he got there."
"What is this 'helpful information' going to cost me," asked the suspicious elf.

"No need to worry about that," answered William.  "We've married into being family, after all.  I'm your great-great-step-uncle-in-law or something like that.  Besides, if you get distracted from your challenge and your milquetoast brother wins, I'll just have to waste my time and effort destroying him, and I'm rather busy these days."
William then laid out the names of the guilty parties and the current whereabouts of young Aeric:  Starlight Shores.
"Looks like I'll need a bit of help," said Breagadoir to himself as he started dialing his favorite daughter.
