Well, I guess with Vampires, you can be a human and get bitten and turned, or you can be an elf and then get bitten and turned?
He was actually just born as a vampire.  He takes after the Countess that way.

Nah, it's just that Pippin has his own ideas what constitutes an elf, based on skin colour and ear point. As these characteristics are entirely unrelated to in-game life state, they are compatible with any life state. Leithleach was not bitten, he was born a vampire because his mother's one. I swear I just had this conversation with Pippin awhile back . . .
And Pippin, this is just cruel. How dare you make the plot thicken right as you're leaving?  :-\
Yes.  You're welcome  :=)
Coloring and ear point are my qualifiers as there is no legitimate "elf" life state in the game.  Therefore, the elven qualities are simply the aesthetics.  Thanks for helping clarify, Rosa  :=)

Whew. I was worried about Pippen being gone for too long.

Thanks, all.  I'm touched that I was missed.  I'll be playing more and hopefully posting another update tomorrow.

The Elven Town Jump-The Good Chat
« Reply #791 on: September 20, 2013, 01:29:40 PM »
While Breagadoir was chatting with his favorite son, Aeric,

Sotal was having a chat with his own son.

Sotal:  That nasty half-brother of mine is taking far too much of Father's attention.
Leithleach:  Aeric?  Yeah, he's cool, in fact...

Sotal:  He is an obstacle standing in your way and we must remove him.
Leithleach:  Aeric and I were going to start a band...

Sotal:  But don't worry, I've already got things in motion to take care of that.
Leaithleach:  It seems possible that you're not listening to me...

Sotal:  So you can just go about the business of reaching your lifetime wish and you'll have Father's full attention in no time.  Now I must go take care a few final details.

Leathleach:  Did you listen to anything I said?

Leithleach:  Okay.  Good talk.

Hmm. So Sotal finally finds himself--and some gumption? As Rosa would say: interesting.

I find I like this new Sotal. Mayhap it is really the Countess behind him, pushing. Or, something more basic. Sibling rivalry. In that case, as a person with more siblings than I have fingers, well done, Sotal. Well done!

The Elven Town Jump-The Plan Proceeds
« Reply #793 on: September 20, 2013, 04:47:33 PM »

It was a rather ordinary day for Breagadoir's household.

Harlequin was setting things on fire,

the responding firefighter was instantly and completely smitten with the Countess,

Breagadoir was instructing his firstborn, yet youngest, grandchild that she would be eaten by flying jellyfish if she did not learn how to use the potty,

and Breagadoir's youngest son was enjoying the pranking that comes with being a teen.

This was not received well by the owner of the house (though his daughter didn't object to their visitor).

Having learned well from his father, young Aeric responded by digging through their trash for potential blackmail material.  However, as the sirens and flashing lights came closer, it became clear that fleeing might have been the more prudent course.

"Alright, young man, you're coming with me, but first, I'm going to have to have you use this breathalyzer," said Officer Lindsay.
"Why do I need a breathalyzer?" asked the young and aspiring scientist, "And why...does this...smell like...chloroform..."
And with the unconscious young elf securely loaded into her cruiser, Officer Lindsay contacted her superiors.
"I've secured the target.  He's ready to be transferred."
"Alright, proceed with the transfer," came the response.  And with that, she drove her cruiser across the city limits of Appaloosa Plains and set off to remove this young miscreant from her jurisdiction.

Buh Bye, Aeric, lol.

Did he inherit Harlie's pyromania and immune to fire trait?
