<whew> A little over 24 hours after starting my Elvin Town Jump binge, I am finally up-to-date! Pippin, this is an amazing story! I have been so incredibly entertained over the last day or so, it's been unreal...There were so many big moments that I enjoyed but the subtle scheming was priceless. Based on comments, I am assuming that this is your first outing writing an EVIL* character with this approach to story-telling? If this is the case, then all I can say is, "Well played, Sir, Well Played!" I am looking forward to all the shenanigans & scheming to come in Appaloosa Plains & Nadine's appearance on The Mole!

I do like the Countess and Sotal together, even if it's obviously not very healthy. I like that she puts him in his place. Girl power! Also, Harlequin looks gorgeous as always.

Well, then I guess Sotal and the Countess are going to have to get back to work on the next possible heir. I'm sure Breagadoir will understand. That is, if he can tear himself from my baby long enough ;)
Nope, he can't  ;=)  Don't worry, though, Sotal and the Countess will keep trying.  She likes the trying far more than the succeeding.

Wow, thanks a lot!  I'm glad that you enjoy and appreciate my story, and yes, it's my first evil story  :=)

Agreed, their relationship is fun, though excessively unhealthy.  And Harlequin is always gorgeous  :=)

Is she human? The qualifications are confusing when you invent your own life state based on skin colour and ear points. I suppose the Countess might have been human before she was turned, or perhaps in any case she is the human type of vampire whereas Damon is the elven type of vampire. So I guess Ahna inherited her mother's life state but her father's powers? And not her mother's vampire state. In any case, I thought it was a marriage of convenience for him and one of power and status for her, so why does she care if he's faithful? Except I suppose it hurts one's pride to have one's spouse be unfaithful, and that's not very powerful.

The elven features are the ears points as well as the rainbow coloring.  Ahna's "regular" color.
The Countess isn't as concerned about romantic faithfulness so much as the idea that Sotal belongs to her and no one else had better be messing with her stuff.

Yeah, in a relationship like this, perhaps it's safer for all parties to stick with your owner.

Please don't kill off the Countess. She's one of my favorites.

You mean... this tattoo I got of "Countess Forever" is going to be a mistake?

No I totally get that, I mean I know what you use to qualify in the game I was just thinking in terms of story context how the elven race you invented fits in with everything else.
