"So, Caoin and his family decided to just buy one really large lot and they built two houses that mirror each other," the Watcher informed an inattentive Breagadoir, who was far too busy watching Harlequin sleep.
"Heaven and Carl have a lovely home and they've already set up the nursery," she gushed. "And," she continued, a playful tone to her voice, "each of the couples decided to 'christen' their all-in-one bathrooms."
"Heaven quickly started turning the new house into a home by planting a garden," she continued.
Breagadoir's response was to reach out and brush a stray hair from Harlequin's face.
Carl shows himself to be a good husband, but they're actually lying to your brother about his career: he's a criminal.
"Really?" Breagadoir replied, acknowledging the Watcher for the first time in this update.
"Yes," the Watcher sighed, "I was afraid that would intrigue you. In fact," she continued,
"he is a kleptomaniac."
"A kilt and a klepto," Breagadoir said, nodding. "I
like this kid."
"Anyway," the Watcher continued, clearly annoyed,
"Caoin is still playing chess and Heaven still plays with her imaginary friend."
Breagadoir had turned his attention back to Harlequin at this point.
"Patches, her imaginary friend, is her constant companion, but sadly, Virtue never learned the potion to make him real," she said, lingering for just a moment on the name Virtue. Breagadoir didn't respond, so she continued,
"Patches was even with Heaven when she first learned she was pregnant."
"Fortunately for Heaven, her mother is happy to help out by tending to the garden so that Heaven can take care of that baby. She wants a baby girl."
"Carl would prefer a boy, but apparently, she isn't giving him a vote on the matter," she stated.
"However, he was delighted to learn that he'll be a father, and I imagine he'll spoil that baby girl," she told the elven prince.
"The soon-to-be grandparents were rather thrilled, and they decided to celebrate too," she said, again with that playful tone in her voice.
"However," she added, the playfulness dripping away from her voice,
"grandpa will probably be quite displeased,"
"once the tabloid stories about Carl's arrest come out."
And she finished the update with, "I'm afraid Heaven's going to have some explaining to do..."
